Why were these not on the album?! They're definitely of sufficiently high calibre. Love these songs so much!
the little rif from... werewolves in london? is that what that is? after "singing everybody else's songs" is SO good
This is the kind of song that made me fall in love with Amanda Palmer which is so sorely missing from her latest album. Its a crime this is relegated to b-side/extra status.
Awesome song! Love it!
Turn your speakers up real loud, play this all night long!
They're on the b-side album (basically if you buy/download the digital version, these will be on there)
Love this song
Diggin' this so much.
I agree! I was going to also say somewhat of a Sweet Home Alabama sound too which Werewolves of London is (although I'm sure it came first)
Thanks!
DAMN AMANDA! YOU DIDI IT... AGAIN :D
The bit about the cigarette growing made me think of the song "Baby's On Fire".
That's what I thought! Sweet Home Alabama.. but I wasn't going to say anything in case people thought I was hearing things.. lololol
I just had the epiphany that this song eerily sounds like it's directed at Walter White from Breaking Bad. The lyrics fit disturbingly well.
the enf of the verse has a "backstabber" feel to it
This is probably my favorite of the bonus tracks. How can it not be, with an awesome nod to Warren Zevon?
This song kinda reminds me of Backstabber abit. Maybe a reference to Brian?
They were on various bonus versions like the kickstarter pack and australia bonus,
WANT. Is this for a deluxe version of the album?
The killing type is nice; the rest didn't really work for me either. too pop/rocky, and the loudness of the sound of the band serves to de-emphasize the lyrics.
