I thought, FOR SURE, that KRISTI, the 1st contestant to "COME ON DOWN" in this video was Kristy McNichol (the famous, Emmy award winning actress). She looks just like her.
This is just a rumour but according to the show girls Bob Barker was not entirely friendly backstage. If the show girls became pregnant they were fired. If the show girls got more fan mail than Bob Barker they were fired.
Guys, I have some bad news! The Price Is Right is moving out of Television City in Hollywood and it's moving to a new studio in Glendale, CA.I heard that Television City is getting renovated.I really don't want the show to move! I should start a petition online to change their minds.I just found that out yesterday (Not a late April Fools joke) It's true

@@dannydougin3925 Given the nickname given to Studio 33, the sentimental feelings are understandable. However, it does come down to a question of whether to stop the show during renovation, or allow it to temporarily continue somewhere else. Granted, I haven't wanted to watch since a year or two after Drew took over, but understand it's been around a very long time.
@@silentbob3208 It already is, given many of the episodes are available today through both this site and the host. RIP Mr. Barker. You are truly the GOAT of game shows.
I love when they activate the "general quarters" alarm when someone wins something big.
Someone served in the Navy
Apparently Bob was in the Navy during WW2 and one of the shows creators served in the Air Force so that might have something to do with it.
Oh, don’t it just make you feel GOOD watching someone win like this?
$5,000 was a lot of money way back then in 1985.
It's the equivalent of about $14,000 today.
when your poor its alot in 2023 also
It is still a lot in 2023 it just doesn’t go near as far as it did back then
@@paul16451 yeah but boomers were buying homes worth $750,000 today for $100,000.
Our townhome cost $58k in 1982. Selling for $370k right next door
"I bet Theresa and that good looking guy out there are going to have fun tonight!" 😅 As always making the audience laugh
Watching this Brings back so many childhood memories!
Same! 85 is when I started kindergarten
Bob Barker is the only one who can do it
I agree.
I remember these when I was sick, and missed school!
Bob Barker is a legend!!! Love him as the host!!! God bless him!!!!! ❤❤❤💛💛💛....🌺🌺🌺🌺......
Bob Barker Made this Show So much Fun!

man i miss Boss hosting, he had the magic to the show, always cracked me up when he teased the contestant & the audience went crazy lol
BOSS???
Start at 3:45 to watch the punch game.
Thank youuu
Thankyou!🤗🤗🤗
in 1985 $5000 was a lot of money I was 11 years old back then $5000 would have been a great down payment on a new car
I was thirteen and you are right. It could also pay a few months worth of rent.
very good looking older woman
Did anyone else notice (what appears to be) the second slip inside the second hole as Bob reached in?
I watched it very closely, I’m pretty sure that was just the paper folded backwards that she punched out.
I thought the same thing, that it was a second slip, but after watching it carefully realized it was the cover as well.
That’s just the plastic covering that was folded down.
whoop whoop whoop on the $5,000
Not unless it was the $10K.
5:37 She was so excited she destroyed Bob's hair.
Being on a fixed income, $5000 is a lot of money for me now!
The contestants back then were calmer . The ones now get overly excited ( just my opinion)
Very cool 👍😎
Punch-A-Bunch is my favorite The Price Is Right game.
Most would say their favorite is Plinko.
I love Bob Barker and Drew Carey.
There was no stand for the $10,000 check back then.
That’s a good prize. Even today I’d be happy with an extra $5000.
Winning prize with 5pounds of KFC
$500 for a microwave!?!? and I thought a PS5 was expensive
It's computerized.
I sure miss the old days when we never had to deal with all the garbage we do today
The internet pulled us out of paradise. Ever wonder why Apples logo is what it is? It's not an accident.
The garbage started around 1965
@@jeannetteramsey8347more like 100 years earlier 1865
Amen too that
That was quite an improvement! This has been a good episode which included the BIG Money Game!
I only paid $20,000 for my house back then, so yes, $5000 went a long way then.
Miss old bob days
Multiplied the first two slips.
She looks like my Aunt.
That chicken looked good that went with the prize
