When it comes to DA2, I actually enjoyed it more than most people, but what really annoyed me about the game is how cheaply they just copy and pasted a couple of areas over and over and over again. Also, the dialogue and skill system was extremely simplified compared to DA:O. What I liked better about the game was the faster combat, that was actually satisfying. If DA2 had more areas and if it wasn't so simplified, I would have actually loved it. The characters were great in both games.

Especially in DA:I where Morringan concedes (if Alistair is the father) that she told Keiran his "... father is a good Man.... I thought you deserved that much at least" compared to what she'll tell Loghain if he asks her what Kerain knows of his father.... she straight up says "He knows nothing of who is father is and it will stay that way".
This game shows that you don’t NEED ultra-mega-extraHD 1600k graphics & tons of micro transactions to make it great. DAO managed to caught our attention by telling a great story with amazing characters while having a blast with combat I miss those days of great gaming... *snif* 😢
@@domagojkersun9630 I tried Baldur gate... and also pillars of eternity and pathfinder kingmaker; but I can't get over the absence of face-to-face dialogue... it conveys so much more personality for the characters ! Also the fights being essentially based on dice rolls are frustrating when one bad dice results in a team wipe -_-
@@Polored1066 This is old, but DA:O is still almost all dice rolls, just made to where one or two bad rolls is not as detrimental, unless of course you play on Nightmare.
@@Abanks2013 Nightmare is pretty doable once you get the hang of it. Apart from bosses you can get a lot of mileage from luring stragglers and using traps.

Anders and Fenris I can't stand together because they're both fanatics and idiots. Morrigan and Alistair just don't like each other (or they actually do, who really knows) and just make fun of each other. These two I can handle and they make me laugh XD
Vivienne & Sera and Cassandra & Varric in Inquisition can be funny too. And then the Iron Bull & Dorian's party banter-driven romance is hysterical! But Alistair and Morrigan are a hard act to follow. (I do think it's odd that Cassandra's the one to finally break Varric's streak of getting along with everyone, though. He didn't even give up on trying to be friendly with Anders in act 3 like the other companions in DA2 (except Hawke, potentially); he made an effort with that guy right up until he blew up the chantry. And Cassandra is quite apologetic about the interrogation in Inquistion and her personality is waaayyy more tolerable so yeah..it's a little odd to me that she's one of the few people Varric is bitter with.

For those who are still wondering about Morrigan eyes mod, I finally found the mod on Nexus. It's called Spidercat eyes, the ones Morrigan is using are yellow/ gold Spider eyes. Just take a look at the mod and you'll see it. I did the comparison with Danaduchy playthrough and match perfectly in case you don't believe it.
The ones where they banter at a table in the tavern, it's like the most sarcastic, caustic, incompatible blind date in fantasy fiction. There's definitely no second date after that! lol
