Great video. Would you mind doing a video on how trousers should fit on the bum, please? I have a flat bum and there always seems to be lots of material. Also where trousers and jeans should finish - above ankle, on ankle, below. I get confused on what should be where and don't want to look silly.

Super good advice - but a video on shape wear would be so helpful! The market for shape wear is a jungle to navigate in as the possibilities seem endless😅

Most women wear clothes that are a size too small, this really makes us look fatter. Those horizontal strain lines, gapping buttons and zipper tops pulling apart, make us look like we’re bursting or bulging out, it’s the most unflattering look and the most frequent style mistake I see. It’s more common than ever, I think because of the COVID 15 lbs. most of us gained during the lockdowns, we’re wearing a size too small for our current figures. I’m just wearing my larger garments for now, always my fattest time of year, once the summer heat relents, I can resume my daily walks. We’ve had eight or nine consecutive days of temperatures around 105F, it just isn’t safe to exercise in that.

Wow you’ve had it hot! I totally agree about wearing garments that fit.

Comfort is my first fashion priority, well, second after modesty, All my clothes are comfortable, at least since I banned and purged all synthetic fiber fabrics, but shoes are a lot trickier. I try my best to fit my wider toes (C or average width), but I have at least a 30% failure rate with footwear, despite sizing up, stretching them, softening them with Neatsfoot oil and other tricks. Shoe manufacturers claim to make most in a B width. But often they fit like an A, or narrower, to save them money on leather. When my many tricks fail, I end up passing them on, even some sneakers. Boots are best, I can order them two full sizes up and they won’t fall off my feet, unlike slingbacks, etc. I just got my first pair of Superga sneakers, and it will bemy last ever, how can they make sneakers so uncomfortable?

I don’t think you are at all alone in this - I know I can relate. Perhaps I’ll do a video soon on comfy shoe hacks…
