I also replaced the flour with rice flour, (only 2 tbsp) and coconut oil instead of butter for the dairy-free option people who still love mug cakes. I will try the applesauce next time! 😀

I made this and it’s very dry it’s okay if you’re craving a late night snack but if you can’t make the icing i recommend Nutella on top it’s wayyyyy better but i only recommend making this if there’s no snacks left at the house and it’s late night 😭 but overall i give it a 6.5/10
Add milk to it it tastes way better. Literally tasted like dry butter the first time I did it and then I added milk and it helped so much. Created more of a cake mug but still better. I should add I only used one tablespoon of milk it’s not like I added a ton. It just made it less dry. Jesus.

how i made mine: -swapped out the baking powder for baking soda(i know, yikes) -none of the sprinkles or icing/frosting type stuff it was definitely a little dry, and not very sweet, but the video included the sprinkles and icing, so i don’t know what i expected. anyway, it was super easy to make, and not too bad! i liked it.

hey, it’s gachaliscious it was amazing! The first time I tried it, the rainbow sprinkles in the cake batter kinda mixed together and made it a sickly green. I made it again on the Fourth of July, and made it with red sprinkles. I colored half of the frosting blue and left the rest white so it was the colors of my flag-it literally tasted like real cake!
My siblings are dairy free, and I’m gluten free. You can substitute the flour for gluten free flour, the milk for almond milk, and the butter for dairy free butter and it still tastes delicious! (I would recommend adding at least 1/2 tsp of almond milk to the batter as well though, as the gluten free flour can be quite dry.) It’s also vegan with these substitutes:)
I tried this out, and it worked perfectly! I highly recommend this. It's an easy thing to do, and not that bad tasting either. It's so easy that even a teenager (me) can do it.

I made this and it’s pretty good!
My tips:
-Add 1/2 teaspoon of milk at the end
-Only microwave for 30 seconds
The texture and taste of this is AMAZING
I made this and it turned out great! I substituted the egg for 2 1/2 tablespoons of milk, and didn’t have any sprinkles so I left it alone. I also made “frosting” but ended up more like a glaze so the second time I made it, I added more sugar and put no frosting. It was really good on both attempts but this recipe is more like vanilla mug cake because it’s generally cakey, when cookies should be chewy. 10/10 for mug cake tho 😋🤪💕🦧 EDIT: I FORGOT TO SAY THAT OIL WORKS TOO BECAUSE I DIDNT WANT BUTTER EXPLODING IN MY MICROWAVE 😭
You can just put the butter in a glass, then put the glass in a bowl filled with hot water. The butter will melt inside the glass.

Two half tablespoons would just mean one full tablespoon so I think they mean two and a half tablespoons

Wow that's luck! And no, the 2 yolks wont make it deadly or something haha. Maybe the texture will be different, but it is edible either way

Two yolks vs. one will be too spongy, kind of a gummy texture, and might taste more like scrambled eggs than cookie/cake. Hope that helps :)

A week later: I made this again but with only 1 Tbsp of sugar... bad idea didn’t rise and was very dry. Stick to this recipe.
how i made mine:
-swapped out the baking powder for baking soda(i know, yikes)
-none of the sprinkles or icing/frosting type stuff
it was definitely a little dry, and not very sweet, but the video included the sprinkles and icing, so i don’t know what i expected.
anyway, it was super easy to make, and not too bad! i liked it.
Swap out the egg with 2 1/2 tablespoon of milk

hey, it’s gachaliscious it was amazing! The first time I tried it, the rainbow sprinkles in the cake batter kinda mixed together and made it a sickly green. I made it again on the Fourth of July, and made it with red sprinkles. I colored half of the frosting blue and left the rest white so it was the colors of my flag-it literally tasted like real cake!

My siblings are dairy free, and I’m gluten free. You can substitute the flour for gluten free flour, the milk for almond milk, and the butter for dairy free butter and it still tastes delicious! (I would recommend adding at least 1/2 tsp of almond milk to the batter as well though, as the gluten free flour can be quite dry.) It’s also vegan with these substitutes:)
