My when I had a Canon Eos R I remember it having HDR mode. It could take away time on editing and make portraits look way better or more dramatic because of the dark shadows and other bright areas.
Hello! Im running into a problem wity my HDR mode. Sometimes when I take HDR Dynamic Range pictures they come out as .HIF files and nothing really supports .HIF. I was wondering if you knew how to make it so they always come out as .jpg files?
Natively, my Mac computer opens heic files without a problem and I typically use lightroom to edit my photos. On a windows computer, you may need to install an extension to see it on version before windows 10. What operating system are you opening your images on? This may be the problem.
Grazie
Moving subjects is on the R6 Mark ii and not the R6. I have not been able to use this feature, however, Moving subject on the R6 Mark II the way I understand it is that when choosing this mode, you will only get jpgs, now raw files and your base ISO will be boosted to 800. If your subjects are primarly still, like a landscape, then there is no need to use it, but it may be good for sports or other moving subjects in a high dynamic range scene.
Yoooo great video
and great music choice toooooo
Thanks a bunch!!!

It’s not for everyone but when you need it and have it available, it’s great have.
Cool video. What camera was this video filmed on? And in what mode was this video filmed? is it hdr pq or log ?
Shot it on the Canon EOS R6, HDR PQ
Great video! Thanks for the tips!
Thanks Wes!

You are most welcome. Thanks for watching.

Does shooting in JPG merge the 3 images in to one, or 3 separate files like in RAW that you combine in post?
Great question! The images are converted to one HDR image. The individual images, if you wish to save them, would be the raw files.
Can we do this (hdr) with Sony a7iv?
Yes, I believe so. You may find it as DRO or dynamic range optimizer.
its very different and does basically nothing
