I started doing my own euro mounts out of necessity a couple of years ago. I found and followed your videos from the beginning and refer back to them often. I now do mounts for family and friends, and everyone is impressed with the finished product! Appreciate what you do. Thanks!
You probably dont care but if you guys are bored like me atm then you can stream pretty much all of the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. I've been streaming with my girlfriend during the lockdown :)
I got my first bull elk in December of 17 and did my euro with the help of your videos man. I'm thankful that you make these videos because they taught me what I needed to do so thank you!!!
Amazing! Love all your videos... trying this out tonight on a skull I’m doing. Thanks for honestly teaching me all the skills to clean skulls it’s became a passion now. To clean bones and make things out of them. 🖤🙌🏼
Continue to do what you do!! I agree with you regarding the content. Its educational. You are teaching us Taxidermy which is an art in my opinion. Your content is clean and professional. You send a good message, with tips and tricks. Thank you!
Thank you for a very informative channel. I am a school teacher in Canada and have done a Beaver, Martin,Fisher Wolverine and Lynx skull using your channel as my teacher. All turned out perfectly. So generous of you to share your knowledge.
I've always been interested in "weird" things. I in fact am a strong believer of respecting the dead whether a dead animal you've hunted has it's skull cleaned and properly exposed like a beautiful trophy and memorial. I actually want to be a mortician because of my belief in respecting the dead! I find your videos interesting and oddly satisfying..
I am new at cleaning bones, I am a licensed cosmetologist, and you are spot on in explaining it. I have learned more in 2 of your videos than anything else. Keep it up
started doing euros fulltime for a few taxidermist shops when i retired three years ago , i do 400 to 500 a year now your method is what i use and it works well for me ! big thanks to you
Thank you very much for posting this educational video. I didn't know anything about skull cleaning until I started watching and learning from your videos. Please keep up the great work!
I love your vids I wanted to do taxidermy myself but never could. Now watching u gives me that education I wanted. I hate how restricted UA-cam has gotten. I also watch Dr Matt DvMD from Vet Ranch, Off the Ranch, &Demolition Ranch, they have done the same thing to him. And I just luv the education and personal knowledge u all have. I wish u & ur family the best of fortune n life. Take care and stay strong.
You're welcome my friend. Idk if many others told you that peroxide doesn't dissolve oils and that acetone and mineral spirits do, but I did tell you that a few months ago :) I'm glad it worked so well for you.
We were bequeathed a family long horn that died naturally. We have started this process to preserve the skull. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to learn how to give this a special place on our walls and pass him down throughout the generations in our family.
Ryan, Love the channel. Thanks for the shout out to the trades as a plumber I appreciate it. This was a great video love the actual product description wished I had that a year ago. Your skulls look awesome can’t wait to give it a try on some critter this year.
Glad to see you on again. I got that same power washer and did a skull mount for my dad he got a 190 pound black bear this season. It works excellent. Definitely gonna be trying these products out I have two more black bears to do.
Welder here, thanks for you're videos! They helped me a ton!!! I didn't have oxy clean to use on the initial boil so I dumped a good amount of purple power degreaser into the pot and came out good!
Awesome job on the pig and big thank you for turning us on to the Aqua Silk. I have used stove fuel (white gas) in the past to de-grease bone for making nuts for guitars and it works pretty good.
Best Video on Euro mounts on U Tube...most dont deal with the degreasing process. I'm working on beaver skull and know how much oil is in the skull ....will try Acetone , as for the Gas use....was told to use white gas (aka) Coleman fuel.... regular gas has chemicals added that cause problems.... Thanks.... Great Video ! I've had skulls done professionally and eventually I get that yellowing....
Very informative, great video. Even the smallest of grease spots bug the crap out of me. I will be trying the acetone with my next skull! Keep making great content and UA-cam can munch on one!!!
Your amazing!! I'm happy that things are going better for you on UA-cam or you have worked around them. I love watching your videos the most. You have such great way of teaching. Please continue your videos as much as you can. They are very educational. Thanks Ryan.
gooooosh these videos are so cool to watch! I've just recently started a skull collection and only have a while tail buck! I'm really interested in getting a Lynx or even one of the smaller ones and seeing these videos gives me even more interest to grow my collection!
Thank you for posting. I'm looking to do some cleaning on deer skulls and didn't know how. Shame on You Tube. Too many people caving in to overly sensitives. Keep posting. Thanks again.
you said you'll take any advice.....try pouring the acetone with the opening on the TOP when pouring from a full can. this allows air to vent in easily and you won't get the glug-glug and spill it all over.
I highly appreciate you I learned so much sorry for that bad news that you just shared with us please keep the train going till the wheels fall off God bless
Another outstanding video. At around 7:20 you are talking about the pig skull. You put it and the color batch chemicals, and brought it all to a boil and then shut it down (burner off). Next you said you would leave it over night in the "hot peroxide". Are you just referring to the passive residual heat of the initial boil that it's in over night or are you actively keeping a heat element (low burner) going under the pot so that it's maintaining a "hot bath" level until the next morning when you rebring it to a boil to rinse and dry. Thanks again for sharing your time and wisdom. God bless ya Brother.
This one of your most educational videos to date. Love all the content you produce, can't believe the censoring on educational information. :-/ I will have to try this Ultra Silk once I am out of the developer.
@@WHITEBONE Would you use the same time on a deer skull with this product that you did on the hog? I'm about ready to try euro mounting my first buck. Just don't want to mess it up. Thanks
I don't know if it will stain the bone but purple power will get an engine shinny clean. It's a degreaser but be careful it will eat auto body paint away if left on for a while
I'm so sorry UA-cam gives you so much grief. I have watched and rewatched your videos so much. You are just educating people what has worked for you. I just don't understand why that's a problem. I love you and watch whatever you post and add it to my own watch list.
Your such a good man I love your vids your help in me so much the more I whatch and how you tell people things is helpful and I learned how to do my skulls and soo much more thing that make it easier keep up the hard work man 💯💪🏻
Ryan man really enjoy all the videos, keep up the good work. It does suck that youtube is becoming the way it is. Here’s a tip for ya, pour the acetone with the other way round with the opening at the top and it wont spill like that ;)
UA-cam can kiss my ass... it’s mind blowing that UA-cam will demonetize or block your content. I have never seen you or heard you say something controversial, etc.. then you get complete trash in the trending section or some of these ads that UA-cam shows... I hope it turns around and you get what you deserve, your content sets the bar. Keep on doing what your doing. Subscriber from Washington State!👍🏻
Thanks for the content. Just Euro'd my first Antelope with your instruction and very happy with it! Question, have you ever considered using beetles? Why/Why not? Also, if there is anything we can do to help with the UA-cam problem on our end let us know.
So I utilized the Aqua Silk with my deer head. Overall everything came out pretty good and nice and white. I will say that one cannot really see how white the head will get until it is removed from the water/peroxide solution. Once I took it out of the pot and allowed to cool the skull just popped. I think your videos are awesome so keep up the good work.
Great vid's! thanks in advance! Where can I find Mop&Glo. Searched everywhere here in Canada. Appears it's been pulled from shelves. ??? seems to be the gov't discovered it contained 15x's over the allowable limit of some harmful chemical. Can you recommend anything else to work as well as Mop&Glo?
