    Spent many a cold weekend running lines with my father when he was on strike . Muskrat , Nutria , Mink and occasionally Otter . Remember hauling butt through the marsh trying to get ahead of the Mink . Found many a pile of fur or feathers because of them . Tenacious little guys

    Great video, Dave. You need to come down here to eastern Tennessee in the Appalachian mountains. I also do the 18th century mountain man and carry a flintlock frontier 50 cal. rifle. I remember watching you on some survival show on the Discovery Channel or History Channel. I didn't know that you did mountain man. I've also got a couple of traps like yours. Mine are muskrat traps.

    GOOD STUFF AS USUAL , I DO WANT TO SEE THAT DEADFALL WORK . I HAVE SEEN THESE IN MANY BOOKS AND MAGAZINES BUT I,VE ONLY SEEN THEM WORK TWO TIMES ON VIDEO AND IT WAS ON MICE .

    So Dave, with all this being said and you preaching the “multi-functionality” of our tools. You often say you want a folding saw, and use a shovel for an “axe”. But here you say and axe in fact has MORE multi functions than a folding saw? 🤔🤔
