Why not just drop the fuel tank. Did I miss the point?

Hey great question. On the XWD Saab you have to drop a lot of linkage including part of the driveshaft/ axle assembly. This is hard to disassemble without a car lift. Also if I am going to have to replace the fuel pump again for performance reasons I will only have to lift the rear seat instead of dropping the fuel tank again.
