So many people say it is such a crime to deny fans any more Firefly/Serenity. I say it is as much of a crime, if not bigger one actually, to deny this crew a chance to reunite and do some more Firefly together.
@@CrazyChemistPL I know it's not really good replacement, but some of the comics I've read have been a very neat bow tied on to the movie. For the most part, cause I haven't heard of another comic since 2016-2018.
My favorite TV show of all time. My SO loves Wash so much that he still insists that Wash NEVER DIED at the end of Serenity. If you try to correct him, he puts his hands over his ears and says, "I can't hear you!"
I saw Joss Whedon, Nathan Fillion, and Adam Baldwin at Wondercon in SF. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. Funnier than any comedian in any comedy club. It must have been fun working on that show.
OMG! These two...I swear. They are obviously & *truly* friends, & as mentioned already, no one works the fans like they do. Nathan called Alan during a panel at DragonCon '06, too, but this coming out on stage was perfect. And so obvious that Alan did *not* know about it. Ah, Nathan...that closing line is so like him. What a joker!! Love him to death and may just have to become a Fillionaire after all...
"Looks bad ahead, Lady--I mean Alan." "See, he's talking about the next movie where it is a lady flying the space ship." "Don't worry, she's hot." "He's right." lmfaooo! xD!! I love those two. They're hilarious together.
Yes, it was Summer they were talking about. She was piloting the ship at the end of Serenity, so if there ever is a sequel, she will probably be the regular pilot.
At the beginning both Alan Tudyk and jon glass said they didn't want to be in a sequel so they killed them off. Than later down the line ALan said he'd want to be in a sequel if they had one and if they did there would probably be a reasonable explanation for bringing him back so they say
Why not start a petition at the next comicon, I guarantee that almost everyone there is going to sign it. That should be reason enough for them to air again.
If I ever lost my mind and decided to act, and somehow was graced with a role with Nathan Fillion, I think I'd be fired for laughing too much around him.
omg dudes...I know this was like aaaages ago, but how do i dream of another film/series...i'm sure i'm not alone, but it's mean to tease Alan and Nathan!! Gosh! :D
ok i KNOW that nobody is going to beleive me but Alan Tudyk is my older cousin and he has actually come to san antonio and stayed with us twice and watched a performance i did at the Magik theatre
@@GiaMarieCarangi so at the time this comment was made I had another person using this account other than me. We were 10 years old and apparently she left a lot of comments without my knowledge lol. We have since gotten much older and therefore drifted apart. I haven’t spoken to her in over a decade so unfortunately I cannot confirm nor deny this
@starerased I was 11 years old when it was being aired. I just recently got access to netflix, and I am waiting to watch serenity when it comes to the local indie theater next month. Thanks for a good first impression of the fandom.
@Rycr Serenity is the name of the ship. Serenity is the name of the movie. There's a 50/50 chance that it could go either way. I'm sorry that not all of us see things the same way you do, but that's life.
@TheRoomy it was the person that decided the original pilot, titled 'serenity', showed a mal that was too dark that ruined the shows' future, making joss to write another pilot that became 'the train job'. this was the one they showed, which didn't have the intensity to draw you in that the original had, so not enough people watched after the pilot, leading the show to be cancelled. chances are that, if they aired the original pilot at the beginning, the show may never have been cancelled
Wash and Book died in Serenity, not Firefly ;) The stories were slightly different, because Joss Whedon had to give the series a finishing point in the movie...
although im a HUGE fan of the show, constantly rewatching it ect ect i have to agree, this show will never come back ...and honestly would we want it to? NOW?? i mean beside the fact that one of the best characters is gone, the actors all aged..a lot! it wouldn t be our firefly anymore. when fox cancelled the show fans should ve raided the studio. now that ship is sailed. lets keep the memory of firefly in our hearts as it was, not how it can never be again.
*Spoiler warning* Don't read unless you've watched Serenity. Part from how Serenity ended, at least one actor(Ron Glass, the shepherd) is dead in real life. I think it may be too late to take up the show now but I wouldn't exactly object to it. They could even run the show as if Serenity never happened and at least Wash would still be alive. Or they could run it as in Wash somehow did survive, body not found, perceived to have been grabbed by Reavers, but in reality was grabbed by the Alliance only to survive being radically changed. Then they could spend season 3 looking for him and to get him out and the rest of the seasons to fight the Alliance or something.
Quasi spinoff could be nice also. But you know, people die out the black too. I won't mind if the dead charachers would remain dead and the crew get some new faces. Sure Zoe would not be the same after her husband death (however in the world of artificials stars maybe there is a - gorram expensive - way to save his life) Teams can run after changing too, the SG-1 is the proof.
Well Joss Whedon is known to bring back favorite actors, and is said that if another movie or series is made, he will probably in someway reanimate both Wash and Book.
why not just have Joss do it...he kills and brings back characters all the time...and he's mentioned numerous times he'd love to do it again, and he says everyone else would be up for it too...timing allowing obviously
I love watching Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion interact about as much as I enjoy watching anything they've been in.
Nathan Fillion is just one giant sack of awesome.
"Nothin' happens in the valley without me knowin'!"
Love these guys
These two would do anything to please their fans.
So many people say it is such a crime to deny fans any more Firefly/Serenity. I say it is as much of a crime, if not bigger one actually, to deny this crew a chance to reunite and do some more Firefly together.
Sad it's been so long now they would have to recast alot of people. Particularly River and probably Kaylie
@@harrypottersnumbrfanOr actually set the sequel 15 years later. Or maybe do animated series with original voices.
@@CrazyChemistPL I know it's not really good replacement, but some of the comics I've read have been a very neat bow tied on to the movie. For the most part, cause I haven't heard of another comic since 2016-2018.

My favorite TV show of all time.

I remember this so well! I was lucky enough to be there. It was awesome!
Nathan has an amazing stage presence and brilliant comic timing. So does Alan. They should do a comedy.
I believe the show was called Con Men
I love how Fillion just sits down
"You think that just because you're in Austraillia, means that I won't find out about it!?"
*Australia

i'd love to invite Nathan over to a dinner with friends! he is hilarious!
Literally walked past this guy and Bryan Cranston on my way to school today here in New Orleans. Shame on me for not getting a picture.
And to this day, their antics are just as hilarious!
I love the look on Alan's face at 1:38 when he he hears Nathan on the phone AND in the room - "oh crap" indeed!
if I were alan and my chair was stolen, id just throw up my hands and sit on nathans' lap. theres just no other way around it haha

Yep, agreed. She is blossoming wonderfully and it seems that she is capable of so much better.

Shiny they sure know how to put a smile on everyones faces.

Its 2018, and its still too soon.. I am a leaf on the wind...
2019 here
And 2020
2021 over here and things are not going so well for the show
Improve or not, these guys are great!
I think the only actor celebrities I would ever go out of my way to meet would be the Firefly cast. I love their humour so much.
OMG I love these two men!
I heard the mic go off when he said "why don't you say that to my face"
10 seconds in: Great audio.
After the vid: AWESOME VIDEO. Five stars.
4:25...The woman who just looks like she gets up and runs off when they mention Alan not being in any more movies xD
Wow you can hear things thats amazing!!
man hope there is a sequel...

You know, staged or not those two are a great comedy act! I love it.
I would love to see Nathan join the cast of Resident Alien with Alan Tudk
I haven't watched this in ages, still funny.
At the beginning both Alan Tudyk and jon glass said they didn't want to be in a sequel so they killed them off. Than later down the line ALan said he'd want to be in a sequel if they had one and if they did there would probably be a reasonable explanation for bringing him back so they say
Carrying on the memory of Jayne Cobb as my xbox live handle
He wasn't even supposed to be in Firefly, but he kept turning up to the set and they just filmed around him. :)
My favorite couple! : )
Gold. Would've been great to be there.
Why not start a petition at the next comicon, I guarantee that almost everyone there is going to sign it. That should be reason enough for them to air again.
lol From this and other videos, Fillion seems like he'd be the most awesome S.O.B. on earth to hang out with
awesomeness
He doesn't turn into a reaver, he snaps mentally and emulates their behavior.
He's literally phoning in a con appearance. What a nutter!
Epic times.
NIce!!!!
Couldn't agree more.
It also fits the wit of the series' scripts, which I'm sure each actor added a lot to themselves.
If I ever lost my mind and decided to act, and somehow was graced with a role with Nathan Fillion, I think I'd be fired for laughing too much around him.

Alan Tudyck was the voice of Sunny in I, Robot. I only bought the movie because of that.
Ahhhh Fillion's epic. Tudyk too ofc. Lol at them both hehe.
I never said that there would be a sequel!
I love them both!
Fillion was damn funny in 2 guys and a girl!
I'd just be happy for a sequel at this point
:D I LOVE NATHAN
Green Arrow and Green Lantern, through and through.
Try a few more episodes, IMO, it picks up momentum as the series progresses.
Nathan Fillion and John Barrowman should work together, The outakes alone would be epic!

Why can they use kickstarter to fund the next movie, I would totally pay
I'm going to a con in Cleveland here pretty soon and I kinda wanna ask if Nathan Fillion knows he's going there
That's pretty damn cool. Mildy surprised Nathan Fillion didn't gatecrash that as well, the cheeky sod :)

Yep The Majestic in San Antonio is not the Magik Theater. It's an amazing venue though. The best I've ever been to.
well there was that episode of Firefly 'out of gas' showing some of the past but not enough
i know its sort of late but there is no zoe or kalie on the two posters on either side of the big screen
omg! It's αlpha as his Wash/pilot personality!

sucks there never was a next movie.... wouldn't have been the same w/out wash though...*sniff*

That's a Dallas Boy!
OoRah Tudyk!
Agreed. I didn't fully invest til the 3rd episode.
Dammit, Mal! You crashed my convention!

He can't bring back Book now ...
Ouch, foreshadowing
Can someone type up a transcript of what they are saying? Because I am so confused.
Please write that again but this time with words that make sense...
@ckyfan969696 You know that Serenity is also on Netflix streamable right?
Are they serious about a second movie? god I hope so...!
if they did continue the series, River would be the pilot of Serenity.
i didnt hear what nathan said!!
They could always use him for flashbacks, or just have him dress as a lady and be the hot lady pilot.
These guys are a scream together.
Hahaha. That was awesome
