So many people say it is such a crime to deny fans any more Firefly/Serenity. I say it is as much of a crime, if not bigger one actually, to deny this crew a chance to reunite and do some more Firefly together.
Sad it's been so long now they would have to recast alot of people. Particularly River and probably Kaylie

@@CrazyChemistPL I know it's not really good replacement, but some of the comics I've read have been a very neat bow tied on to the movie. For the most part, cause I haven't heard of another comic since 2016-2018.

I love watching Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion interact about as much as I enjoy watching anything they've been in.
These two would do anything to please their fans.
Nathan has an amazing stage presence and brilliant comic timing. So does Alan. They should do a comedy.

My SO loves Wash so much that he still insists that Wash NEVER DIED at the end of Serenity. If you try to correct him, he puts his hands over his ears and says, "I can't hear you!"
I just discovered this series, watched the season and the movie. It was great. Fun to see videos of them having fun together.

I remember this so well! I was lucky enough to be there. It was awesome!
I saw Joss Whedon, Nathan Fillion, and Adam Baldwin at Wondercon in SF. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. Funnier than any comedian in any comedy club. It must have been fun working on that show.
I love the look on Alan's face at 1:38 when he he hears Nathan on the phone AND in the room - "oh crap" indeed!
i'd love to invite Nathan over to a dinner with friends! he is hilarious!

OMG! These two...I swear. They are obviously & *truly* friends, & as mentioned already, no one works the fans like they do. Nathan called Alan during a panel at DragonCon '06, too, but this coming out on stage was perfect. And so obvious that Alan did *not* know about it.
Ah, Nathan...that closing line is so like him. What a joker!! Love him to death and may just have to become a Fillionaire after all...

I think the only actor celebrities I would ever go out of my way to meet would be the Firefly cast. I love their humour so much.

At the beginning both Alan Tudyk and jon glass said they didn't want to be in a sequel so they killed them off. Than later down the line ALan said he'd want to be in a sequel if they had one and if they did there would probably be a reasonable explanation for bringing him back so they say
"Looks bad ahead, Lady--I mean Alan."
"See, he's talking about the next movie where it is a lady flying the space ship."
"Don't worry, she's hot."
"He's right."

Yes, it was Summer they were talking about. She was piloting the ship at the end of Serenity, so if there ever is a sequel, she will probably be the regular pilot.

Alan Tudyck was the voice of Sunny in I, Robot. I only bought the movie because of that.

ok i KNOW that nobody is going to beleive me but Alan Tudyk is my older cousin and he has actually come to san antonio and stayed with us twice and watched a performance i did at the Magik theatre

@@GiaMarieCarangi so at the time this comment was made I had another person using this account other than me. We were 10 years old and apparently she left a lot of comments without my knowledge lol. We have since gotten much older and therefore drifted apart. I haven’t spoken to her in over a decade so unfortunately I cannot confirm nor deny this

@TheRoomy it was the person that decided the original pilot, titled 'serenity', showed a mal that was too dark that ruined the shows' future, making joss to write another pilot that became 'the train job'. this was the one they showed, which didn't have the intensity to draw you in that the original had, so not enough people watched after the pilot, leading the show to be cancelled. chances are that, if they aired the original pilot at the beginning, the show may never have been cancelled

Also, got into Firefly from what I heard in Halo 3: ODST. I was late to the show, but it still stung all the same.
I got to know Firefly through The X-Files. First noticed a few familiar names on the opening titles on an episode of Castle and I thought "Oh, that's interesting, let's watch". Then came the Vampire Weekend episode with the "Space Cowboy" opening scene that made wonder me a bit and after that the TV show that helped him to learn Chinese and the UA-cam comments about Firefly. So I search, watched it and I now believe it deserved better. I have always been fond of sci-fi but on the other hand, I can't really call myself a nerd.

Wash and Book died in Serenity, not Firefly ;) The stories were slightly different, because Joss Whedon had to give the series a finishing point in the movie...

@Rycr Serenity is the name of the ship. Serenity is the name of the movie. There's a 50/50 chance that it could go either way. I'm sorry that not all of us see things the same way you do, but that's life.

Yep The Majestic in San Antonio is not the Magik Theater. It's an amazing venue though. The best I've ever been to.
Well Joss Whedon is known to bring back favorite actors, and is said that if another movie or series is made, he will probably in someway reanimate both Wash and Book.
He can't bring back Book now ...
why not just have Joss do it...he kills and brings back characters all the time...and he's mentioned numerous times he'd love to do it again, and he says everyone else would be up for it too...timing allowing obviously
Agreed. I didn't fully invest til the 3rd episode.
Try a few more episodes, IMO, it picks up momentum as the series progresses.

He was the robot Sunny in "I,Robot". Just watched it. I wonder how much of the stunts he did himself. I'm guessing, not any of them!!!!
