For anyone who can seemingly only bind one button at a time, try clicking on the LB or RB button icons below the key you pressed. If the icons have the white square around them then you press OK, the modifier button will be applied. It's pretty simple but it had me stuck for a while wondering why my second input wouldn't show up right under the BIND ACTION TO text.
Honestly it still dont quite work for me. I'm new to PC, just got my first set up about 2 weeks ago (games like GB, ReadyorNot, 6days are the reason I switched to PC from console) so I initially tried to see if I could make GB work with a controller set up. I figured out the LB/RB pretty fast but it still didn't work quite right. If I already had a button assigned for something else (like y for secondary as an example), I couldn't use Y again even if I paired it with LB/RB. It would just do whatever the original bind I had set for that button. Sorry for the rambling comment, but have you had the same issue or did you just have to sacrifice some of the controls like this guy in the video?
@@markusd.2770 you need to click on the "+LB" or "+RB" buttons that appear underneath your bind before you press OK. (it should have a very faint white box around the key)
@@kaylensmith1293 Try enabling/disabling steam input (right click on game > Properties... > Controller), use 'DS4 For Windows' or similar software if you are using anything other than an Xbox controller. Not sure what exactly the specific problem could be, it is most likely linked to the device you're using for a controller or a bug in the latest update. I'll let you know if I find out anything.
I saw partial controller support on steam but could never get a straight answer on what you could do I glad you made this video. I’ll pick this up now knowing I can use my controller to play
I know this a little old, I’m trying to get it all set up on my ROG Ally, any idea how I can open the settings menu I have a feeling I have to remap the setting button because it doesn’t inherently work but I’m not sure if there’s a shortcut I’m missing
For some reason when I move forward while aiming down the sights, my dude want's to go into a full on sprint. Makes moving and shooting next to impossible.
Thank you for the video. The binding seems to not work anymore. Now we have even more options and the „extra“ buttons like „rb“ are super glitchy. They are mapped on the bottom of the list to keys like control or alt. If you change them, you change or delete them in bindings Menü to „?“. If I change control from „LT“ to „LB“ the visual representation doesn’t work anymore under you have to try and error everything. If I want to map „A + LB“ it is not working because it is not recognizing my „A“ input although the button works to open the binding menu. Had to return it 😪
So you have to do the configuration of the controller on the steam ? Or in ground branch ? I just want to set it up close to yours , sonincan get some training in it . Please help

For some reason my Xbox controller isn't working on this game I set up a layout on steam and rewasd when I press or hold the Y button it doesn't open my customization for my soldier and weapons and I can't even start a match I'm left in the safehouse HQ or whatever it is and it's pissing me off big time
@@mezzomister1331 I did , so at the bottom there is a shift, ctrl, alt, you know etc. you have bind a trigger and then you can you use more then one buttom at a time
It just really sucks and is very frustrating that they expect and assume that all people CAN effectively use KB+M...It really angers me. I have a very good gaming laptop (cost me close to 2 grand) and I can't enjoy these tactical shooters because the devs think that everyone can use KB+M... I've tried but I can't use KB+M to save my life. It's too hard for me so I rely heavily on controller. This sucks but until these devs start implementing controller support out the gate, they won't make as much money as they could have. I would have been purchased both GROUND BRANCH and READY OR NOT if they supported full controller function. I'm so pissed. And to the KB+M users asking silly questions as to why would they implement controller support, maybe it's because not everyone can use KB+M. EVER THOUGHT OF THAT?
You should check out steam controller config then. Some user ones make both ground branch, ready or not AND zero hour feel like it was released with controller support for how fluid some people set them up
Im hearing its still not worth playing on controller but thats the only way I play shooters I suck with K&B my left hand keyboard skills are not good lol Anyways I tried Insurgency that has partial controller support back before it was on console and it was wonky and I didn't enjoy it. Ma experience with early access shooters that have partial controller support they just dont play right just doesnt feel right? Im being told this is the same and to wait? What do you guys think. Is the controller experience any good or is it better to just wait. I really need another tactical shooting and been praying for a Rainbow 6 Vegas remaster but thats wishful thinking lol Anyway let me know how playing with the controller is on this. Id be using my PS5 controller or a PC gamepad whichever ones works better I guess
Like when you put the red dot on my acog scope I don’t know how to switch to the red dot. Or if you put a 45 degree side rail, it doesn’t switch to it. If that makes sense
Your binds are good, similar to mine, i was using an elite series 2 xbox controller but it is unplayable You can NOT change the sensitivity so it is impossible to use a controller Unless you like to turn & aim in slow motion There is NO way to change the controller sens
For raise/ lower weapon/switch sights I put them as left and right on the Dpad. So I can use the canted sights. Still can’t figure out where to bind the lean to 💜🍆👾

Can you explain a little bit more detailed? I still only can bin one button. It shows after "Y" the shoulder buttons but I cannot chose or bind them

my issue is any time I hold ads he just full sprints, and even with this set up half the controls just don’t work

I found a way around the sen by just slowing down my play style and playing happily ever since. let's hope we all put in for controller support.
You should be able to use steam input to change sensitivity. Hopefully the devs add this though.

Try using a cable instead. PC should read Dinputs (dual stocks) as well as xinputs (xbox).

I figured to leave lean as left and right on dpad like Most games may use up and down for something else also try to use double action buttons.
