Great to see that the coloured tyre compound is big enough to see now on Michelin tyres, but I do wish that there was an industry standard for uniformity of tyre compound colours across motorsport to make less confusing for fans.
Color marked tires add great viewing vector to the viewers!
I love that Toyota's wheels are the wheels of choice for this demonstration
Those Ray's look good eh
Michelin's softest tire is Pirelli's hardest
cuz races with S-M strategy every race would be boring af.
don't forget no tire warmers either.
Kinda throws me for a loop with the opposite colours then F1 .
Looking at black wheels when it's nearly dark. Shine a light 🕯️
I know! I mean what the chuff man.
What happened to the wet weather slick that Michelin was working on that they had developed for Leman a few years ago?
Toyota's wheels are so good that Michelin used them for their tire demonstration
Rays rims created for toyota
So they are used in different temps/conditions, do they have different grip levels?
yes, the softer the tire, the higher the grip, temperature buildup, and wear
@@nelsongranzow1197 i see ty
Compare to f1 this tyre is just normal roadcar size right?
I wish F1 would allow tire competition again
f1 has alot of more issues to fix if they want to gain back the top spot
It would not benefit to the sport if you look back in time early 2000 when it was the case there was no indication as each team and manufacturer could hide the the strategy so as a viewer you lose all the benefits of the actual colors and graphs that explain the strategy to the viewers plus the tires will be voluntary very hard so they can last the whole gp if the use that strategy so no pit stops anymore because they don’t refuel + some tracks will benefits a lot certains tires and it will make the competition only between the same tire teams because the other one is risking to have a non competitive compound
@@Randomvideos-zi7peFr tho
Competition in F1 tyres is long gone. There is no point to allow Michelin or Bridgestone in F1, they had their chance and they blew it.
i mean, WEC has one provider for hypercar (michelin) and another (goodyear) for gt3
There's one important aspect of the wheel he didn't mention. What kind of rims are they using? Is it made of carbon fiber or alloy?
magnesium alloy
nah title explicitly says about Michelin Tyres only.. but I get your point, I wanted to know that aswell.
same colours as f1 but the soft and hard are the opposit end. why not just use the same. everyone will know istantly
Michelin >>>>>>>>>>>> Pirelli
You can’t compare mate its different cars, different stints and different use here they don’t use the 3 like we want to go fast but to adapt to track temperature and how many hours they want to do for each tire. The tire in F1 are voluntary soft to create drama during the 1h gp
oh yes, I remember the F1 GP in Indianapolis in 2005..
At least Pirelli has never complained about the costs or threatened to leave F1, they rarely blame teams for incidents while everyone blame them, they get their head down and solve any problem, imo they don't get enough credit.
F1 tyres wont last 24 hours ....
@@mikeabcable You're joking? They're not supposed to, even the tyres mustn't last for a full race, without strategies and pit stops F1 will be boring.
Ferrari fails again in tire choices and strategy! smh 🤦
The coulors should be reversed
Why are the white ones softs the red ones hards 😭😭
What do you even want man?
Michelin is not Pirelli
not every series has the same color scheme as F1.
GOH with that F1-centric view
He literally explained it in the video.
Just because Pirelli uses their colors the wrong way around does not mean every other tyre manufacturer has to do it wrong too.
@@hannesgroesslingerwhy do you say that Pirelli are doing it the wrong way?
@@hannesgroesslinger I didn't even notice 😨 michelin(WEC) and pirelli ( f1)😅😅😅
