@@Bencfb cheers man! I appreciate that. And no worries. As soon as restrictions are lifted, expect more videos. Thanks again for watching, appreciate the support!
Really great video. I spent some time in Valencia about 10 years ago after a tough time in my life and it will always be in my heart. I really love that park. You say it looks kinda like a river on a map, it actually used to be a river, they drained it and rerouted the river about 50+ years ago because it kept bursting its banks and flooding the old city.
About the bat. It's the symbol of the city of Valencia, and yes, not only in Valencia football team. It comes from king Jaume the First times, when he was trying to take the city from the arabs in the 13th century. One night a bat settled on his tent and warned him about an attack coming from inside the city walls. Afterwards the city was conquered and the king set a bat over the badge of the city as a token of gratitude :)
As a Valencia fan thank you for making this video, after madrid, barca and atletico, valencia is the 4th greatest club in Spain and people who love football should visit the stadium if they are in the city. I have enjoyed watching it due to you showed everthing in relation to the club, last but not least not only for being a valencia fan but the tour is something else!!! Well explained, congratulations!!
It's a wonderfull stadium. Also on fifa 22 now I will do a realistic career with them with good sliders that it's not arcady. In the game it looks very well. It's one off my favorite stadiums and clubs in Spain. Wish they get in Europe next year again but it will be difficult.
I'm glad I found this channel as a Newcastle United Fan I like visiting different grounds. Great footage and a fantastic underated channel. You have a Sub from me Keep up the good work. What a man Rafa Benitez was! ⚫⚪
Thank you!! Really appreciate that! I hope I can keep on making videos you enjoy 😁 I'll try and get up to St. James's when I'm back in the UK! Thanks again 🤝
Best tour I've been too but I went back in 2004 where all the seats were white and blue but looks totally different now in your video, the changing rooms were very basic white and blue. Adam from Basingstoke
Really great presentation. We're actually thinking about moving to Valencia and are looking for some info, this vid answered a lot of questions. Cheers mate!
Valencia have had some very special players down the years .. aimar, Ayala, mendieta , David silva, villa , mata , wow … got to the champs league final and lost both times :(
@@FootyAdventures Me2 I did also Atketico one the old one.. And Español one when I was in those cities. I didn't do Levente yet. But I did Valencia well not really but I watched a game there doesd that counts as well?
That's so cool, thanks so much!! I only just started in November 2019, but also UA-cam have basically not recommended any of my videos to other viewers since my Olympiacos video. Very frustrating! But I hope it can bounce back 😔
Ow yeah the bat well Levante the other club out Valencia has it as well in the logo. Edit: ow you mentioned in the vid. Great vid man! 52.479 capacity has the stadium.
Thank you for watching, glad you like the vlogs. I use a GoPro mainly, but I think I last spoke about my equipment in this video... ua-cam.com/video/NNuysA7MHQQ/v-deo.html Cheers!!
How do the coaches see how the game is going when the bench is sunk into the ground? We had the same issue at Aston Villa in the 1980's. But when Graham Taylor arrived he had the bench moved up higher. But even then Ron Atkinson when he was manager went up into the stands instead.
Yeah it's great isnt it! Weird that the club shop is across the road though. Its usually inside the ground. Did you see a game or do the tour? Cheers for watching mate!
Always thought the Bat was just because they are common in the area? What are the other stories You have read on-line mate other than the explanation You give in the video? AMUNT 🦇
The last expanded stand built by the club was declared illegal by the Spanish major court despite being approved and validated by the city council. That's why it's technically a 55K stadium but in reality is a 49K one.
It is a shame they sold the stadium and are moving to another stadium outside of the city, a stadium is part of a clubs identity i personality don't like it when they move and demolish thier history like that like what happened to west ham and arsenal
14:07 you walked past a little gem for any football fan. Its in your video for a split second. Its a little cafe/bar run by Spains most famous football fan, Manolo el del Bombo. Any football fan of a certain age will know Manolo from world cups gone by when he would always be at the Spanish games with his Spanish hat and his drum and often featured in the clips at the start of world cup programes. When we were there in 2019 he was behind the bar in the full outfit and was happy to pose for photos with us and his replica of the world cup. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manolo_el_del_bombo The wiki article says his cafe closed in 2011 but I can confirm he was very much still there in 2019. Hopefully it and he survived the pandemic and are still going strong. I am going back in a month with my wife and this time Valencia are at home so we have tickets for the home game v RCD Mallorca. Cant wait as the Mestalla has been at the top of my grounds to see a game at for a lot of years and I was massively dissapointed on the last visit when they played at home the evening we arrived and were away on the weekend. We went to Levante instead which was good.
Great stadium! Let me know below if you've seen any other orange stadiums?
I just subscribed because I love the stadium tours and vlogs! Thanks for replying quick as well⚽️

Yeah it's a cool story! 🦇
It’s on levante crest too correct ?
Haha commented before the end of the video and see you said levante too
Not the biggest but my favourite stadium. I love the intense steepness of the stands.
This is what a stadium should be like, steep and intimidating

What a beautiful city
Definitely. I love it there
I loved the city of Valencia. Mestalla was awesome, Sadly they lost 0-1 in added time against Eibar. Levante is a cool club as well
Yeah it's a great club! Hoping to go back one day for a game or two 🙂 thanks for watching and commenting!
From Greece 🏛️🏛️🇬🇷🇬🇷 love Valencia
Love this place, great memories after visiting it 4 years ago.
I went to the Mestalla last January and it was great, Adrian was good when I was there too
Oh cool you had Adrian too! What a legend he is!

Amunt Valencia! Thanks for visiting
Thanks for watching and commenting! Hopefully I can come back and watch a game one day
Will they ever finish that new stadium? I wish they would. They deserve it. Valencia is one of my favorite clubs.
No!!!! We don’t want a new Mestalla just maintain it and keep it how it is, it is perfect the way it is now.
Best Tuesday ever?! Big call. Valencia looks amazing though 😍
A pretty decent day to be fair!! You've gotta go!
You feel like a king in the mestalla
Now ur my favourite youtuber coz u r uploading stadiums vids

Coming to València in October 2023. Hope to watch their match against FC Cadiz. Thank you for the video.
I love the stadium 🖤🧡
We follow these tours religiously....
Thanks for sharing this. I want to visit Valencia one day (even though I'm an Atleti fan). Until then, this is as close as I'll get.

Thanks! I'd recommend Valencia over Barca and Real Madrid tbh. But still you have to see the big two in Spain. Proper bucket list stuff!

52.479 capacity has the stadium.
Greed video! I recommend the Cardiff tour as you get to see quite a lot and it's very reasonably priced
Thanks mate! And cheers for the tip. Yep, I'll be doing all the big UK stadiums when things start coming out of lockdown 😊
Great video!
Brilliant video.
Going in may to watch a match against villareal ( the derby) mostly because of the stadium. Still got to get match tickets .

Looks great stadium and tour not as good as barcas though😝❤💙
Can someone with knowledge explain the capacity reduction? Mestalla was 55,000 and now there are differing figures from 48-49,000…
The last expanded stand built by the club was declared illegal by the Spanish major court despite being approved and validated by the city council. That's why it's technically a 55K stadium but in reality is a 49K one.
Today stadiun de gran Canaria
Dunfermline Athletic 6 Valencia 2 (6-6 on aggregate)!!!
Amunt means literaly "up "

Yeah true the new stadiums dont seem to have as much of an atmosphere. Itll be interesting to see what the Nou Mestalla is like though
I'm *ABSOLUTLY* against the move (if it ever happens). But it's not outside the city but right in the middle!
