Not sure about the story myself, but my grandpa said there was a Scot that brung football to Brazil, there was an old guy that used to fly a saltire at the Brazil games I think he has now sadly passed.
Awesome video. I’ve only seen Sevilla live once in the Super Cup final 2016 against Real Madrid. My favorite Norwegian team Rosenborg where the host. Real won 3-2 after extra time. Great game.
Well, that's me got a new team to follow! As someone who was also formed by Scots on Robbie Burns day (hence the name), I have always felt a strong affinity to Sevilla.
Magic vlog Sam. Thank You I learned a lot of information from this particular vlog from a Scottish persons point of view. All us Scots should be extremely proud of how we helped football & Savilla as a club to grow right from the start. Thank You Sam you are a legend in your own life time. I will keep a closer eye on Savilla's tesults from this point on.
I'm Scottish and Sevilla is as you say a beautiful city. Intense "old firm" style rivalry with other city team, Real Betis. Not sure about the oldest club in Spain. I believe Recreativo de Huelva are. Founded by yes Scots and English who were connected in one way or another with the local mines of Rio Tinto. Enjoyed the video🙂
One of my respectively favourite clubs daily and ever in this world and other planets,Sevilla are a successfully big club in their history and I hope to see some respective Scottish players to be playing for the club that was formed by a Scottish and to get some of the respective Sevilla supporters to know that they were formed by a Scottish, good friends!!!:-D
I wasn't expecting the Dundee Courier and a book of verse by Robbie Burns to feature in a video about a Spanish club. Really enjoyable, Sam. Are you planning to visit the Basque clubs?
From what I understand about this subject it has something to do with a Navel battle Scots took part in off the coast of Tenerife. I would love to find out more about this subject. Viva Tenerife.
Where else have Scots taken football???

Recreativo de Huelva,good friend Sam!!!🏋♂️
Everywhere, there's loads of Spanish clubs started by Scots, Recreativo de huelva, Spain oldest club was started by two fifers.
Was miners mostly that spread the game, starting athletics clubs all over the place. Brazil included.
I thought we also had something do we eibar in Spain? Also celtic an Saint pauli in Germany
Absolutely love Seville as a city as well as Sevilla FC never knew their Scottish history all the more reason to support them 🏴🤍❤️
Buen trabajo amigo, el Sevilla FC es un club fantástico con una afición increíble. 😉💪⚽🏆

Recuerdo a Jock Wallace y a Ted McMinn los años 80. El Sevilla Football Club nació en Escocia, como los buenos whiskys. Saludos.
The Scots travel the world with football since their fame is worldwide🏴🏴🏴
It's not just football alone we have helped bring to the world.
@@alanfox691 it's a youtube channel dedicated to Rangers, which is a football team and obviously I'm not going to talk about anything else.

Jock Wallace managed them for a year 1986-1987.
Very true. His name was pronounced "Váyase" which means " Get lost/ clear off". And that's what the fans ended up chanting!!!
You could find a relation to Scottish football anywhere in the world 👏😂
to this day Spanish refer to managers as "Mister" this is throw back to when alot of managers were English/ Irish / Scottish
Sam, in my opinion you are Scottish!
Keep up your fantastic work 👍

All those UEFA Cups and no Champions League.
Es muy difícil conseguir una Champions, a no ser que el dueño sea un árabe rico, chino, americano, etc. El Sevilla Fútbol Club es un equipo familiar.
