Most of the videos on my channel are demonetized for swearing as well. UA-cam likes to have machines demonetize content automatically while they go out for coffee. You know, instead of coming up with a solution. Isn't that why they made a whole different website called "youtube kids" so that it wouldn't impact the rest of the site? This is why in 2023 streaming is far superior. Another thing, when YT demonetizes videos it seems as though it lowers the amount of people the video gets sent out to. So outside of the money aspect they don't even let the people who subscribe to you get the notification of a new video. Glad I left this hellscape. Maybe one day they will actually work on solutions for content makers with some language, but hey, there's frappuccinos to order.
If they wanted to UA-cam could fix this issue. But they DON’T CARE. Enjoy tinkering with your espresso machines instead of helping channels that have been creating content here since 2006.

James probably doesn't have much of a choice with the way UA-cam is these days. Tell youtube to come up with a solution for videos with language. 90% of my shit is demonetized too. Fortunately for me I just do this stuff for fun. So I don't care about the money part. But what I don't like is that when my videos get demonetized the people that subscribed to me are often not sent the video.

It's extra nefarious that Not ONLY do they Completely inhibit and cut off your ability to make money from a certain video but then to ALSO INTENTIONALLY Suppress and Hinder its reach to those That actually meet the extremely rigid requirements To be able to view it is just PURE EVIL, Because 9/10 Those that mainly come for and appreciate your demonitized work will ALSO appreciate your monetizable works and WANT to support you on those in some manner (when they are Reminded by viewing one of your videos with themes that are demonitized) , but they CAN'T DO THAT if The videos are suppressed in the algorithm And they don't feel inclined to support a Channel that in their point of view is not outputting the content they want...... UA-cam knows this, and i'm sure they do this as a way to semi permanent way to silence channels with themes or messages they don't want spread any further. 😒
I actually think it renews the humor in these old videos. Watching them censored gives a whole different kind of comedy. I still like the originals too, but this is a great bonus.
I just wish James had been able to do it as a different artistic choice, for the comedy. I agree with Mike that it is sad that James is forced to do it by the UA-cam censorship and algorithms. I like the idea of censored videos as a new and refreshing artistic and comedic choice though, when it is not forced.

I just canceled my UA-cam Premium. They'll never get my money again. If James has to upload censored alternatives to uncensored videos, so he can keep the monetization going, UA-cam is just making more work for him. He's been with UA-cam for almost 20 years. This isn't fair. The man is trying to support his wife and children, and they're just making it harder for him, along with other content creators in the same situation. I hope he finds another platform to put his content on. Censorship on UA-cam is slowly getting worse.
