Thank you Dr. Wilson for debunking all these liars!!! 💙 💙 💙
A child afraid of the dark is expected, an adult afraid of the light is deplorable
Such mental gymnastics to save face, these plague enthusiasts never cease to amaze.
"...uh oh this guy knows what he's talking about..."
In the first grade (which for me was 2001) part of our educational activities (I hesitate to call them 'studies' at that early age) included learning the basic organs of the body (heart, lungs, brain, etc.), and being able to (incredibly roughly) draw them on layered transparent sheets overlaying a doodle of a human body.
This activity had filled me with enough curiosity that at my next doctor's appointment... where I happened to be getting my yearly flu vaccine... I... an 8 year old... asked how the shot worked.
My doctor told me simply: "The vaccine contains a dead version of the flu". When I wrinkled my nose, he added: "Since it's already dead, it can't hurt you - but it shows your body what it looks like so that when you do get infected, it knows how to fight it".
I repeat... I was given this child-simplified description of vaccine technology... in 2001. Nearly two decades before he claims they "changed the definition". B.S.
That's very similar to how my doctor explained it to me when I started getting my flu vaccines and allergen immunotherapy. The only difference is that it was in 2006 when I went to first grade.
Has Alex actually existed in the outside world for the last two decades? I'm starting to doubt it.
That’s how they taught it to me in the early 90s.
That never happened.
And the flu “shot” is not a vaccine. I mean technically, if you change the definition, then sure it’s a vaccine.
But we all know that a real vaccine is not something that you can label by using semantics, but something that actually bloody works.
And that's nothing like how mrna jabs work.
so you left out the ‘GMO’d LNP’s full of synthetic mrna’ part ..... presumably because the traditional & novel methodologies are wholly dissimilar.
Denial at its finest.
Did not recognize the name, but a quick google search told me all I need to know. Unfortunate that these folks continue to spread incorrect information and apparently make a good living at it. Thanks for enduring and sharing that interaction Dr Wilson.

It is impressive for someone to be so wrong in so little time, so heres my mild clap for the impressively wrong Alex Berenson, followed by my unending hatred that is reserved for people who are actively fighting on the side of the viruses, against human and animal survival.

My dictionary from 2009 defines immunity as the ability of an organism to resist disease by means of specific antibodies or sensitized white blood cells. So some infection is going to be present to be encountered by the immune system in the first place. I have a headache.
Bingo. This is something antivaxers fail to grasp. In order to mount a defense, a pathogen must already be present to be defended against.
immunity = the state or quality of being resistant to a particular infectious disease or pathogen. As in, you won't be getting it whatsoever.
It does not mean you'll still get it w "reduced symptoms"... it means the vast majority of recipients won't contract it at all.

Oh please they did change the “basic” definition of Vaccines. Clearly to help with the poor/short lasting Mrna vax.
Every time they update a definition is it a conspiracy? Language doesn't work like that. Have a look at what they actually changed, when, and why and then make your claim.

Musk was attacked when he said he’d remove blocking from Twitter. This is what happens, truthful people get blocked and the liars can go on deceiving people and earning money from it.

The laymen conceptualization of vaccines comes from childhood vaccinations like MMR which we're all familiar with. From experience and brief explanations given at the doctors to the layman, vaccines in their minds equates to " you don't get the disease", which is also conflated with "not catching it" and "won't get infected".
Most people are oblivious to the fact they've probably been infected more than once by the viruses responsible despite being vaccinated. The infections may last days, but because of immune memory and the long incubation periods of the viruses, they never proceeded to the symptomatic disease stages.
If as a science communicator you can't recognize the difference between what the public understanding of terminology is versus the scientific understanding, then you're not going to be able to bridge the gap. The early pandemic messaging by some key figures even included "take the vaccine and you're not going to get infected" and "you're not going to get sick, not going to be able to pass it on". This was quickly contradicted when a portion of the vaccinated after some months did catch it, did get sick and it was acknowledged that there was still a risk of passing it on. Haughtily declaring that this was expected all along and that vaccines have always only been about reducing severity of disease fails to help people understand why their expectations were wrong and tends to fuel feelings that they are dealing with deceivers.
And as for why anyone would think the new vaccines fail to produce robust immune memory, not only did many end up coming down with a symptomatic infection after vaccination, we were all told we'd have to get a booster, then another booster, and then ongoing after that - even before a new formulation for later variants was even added. Not a convincing outcome for someone who thought they just getting another vaccine like the ones they had as kids.
Jasper and lying. Name a more iconic duo. I'll wait.
I feel like you need to study Destiny's debate strategy to get a little edge. I would have said something like "cars from the 60s didn't have computer chips but cars today do. Are cars today not cars?"
That’s actually a good comparison, but in reverse. Cars today are much safer than decades ago, the opposite of vaccines.

Nice video.
There are such clowns!
Anyone who a) is capable of rational thought and b) takes any time whatsoever to understand the mechanism of the immune system and vaccination would never make the fallacious argument that vaccines stop you getting an infectious virus, there is literally no way a system that operates in your bloodstream could stop the virus getting to your bloodstream in the first place. What it can do is be ready and give it a good kicking when it gets there.

The case is a child under two years old and has received three doses of bOPV vaccine, one dose of IPV vaccine for routine immunization and two doses of bOPV during supplementary immunization activities (SIA) in 2022 with no documented travel history. “The last recorded case of indigenous wild poliovirus (WPV) in Tanzania was in 1996, and the cVPDV2 case in 2023 is the first case detected in the country.”

An honest person would have brought up the definition from 2015 and the definition from today.
An honest person would bring up the work of Dr. Allan Warner and how it proves antivaxers are liars.
There is no "the definition". What is most interesting is that no one complained about influenza vaccines being called vaccines, even though it has been known for decades these do not prevent infection or even disease.
Which definition? There are tons of different worded definitions for vaccine. Why do YOU only get to pick one of them to compare?
Or brought up research from the past that helped shape the definition. If he can prove that in the past, scientific studies reliably, validly and consistently proved that vaccines do indeed prevent infection in the same person, that would be a mic drop. They don't exist. Therefore infection prevention cannot and should not ever be part of the definition. In this context, ONLY a well done randomized control trial or meta analysis of well done RCTs would have the ability, to prove vaccines prevent infection or not. No other type of study design has that ability at our level of technology.
