The local county will have water table records, flood charts, and etc... Then, you just build around 24" above that. Now, if it STILL floods up above that, then the entire city is completely submerged from some apocalyptic level disaster and you'll have a lot more to worry about than your boat garage, hehe.
Why is it that if someone has a lot of money, expensive boats and a boat lift that are instantly a knob and have no boating experience at all? I don't understand. A friend of mine is rich, and has a very expensive boat yet he is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced boater I know.
Is it hydraulic.? How is "mechanically " lifted? Does it last in cold temps? It makes sense , but I think there is a lot more involved for the installation. What happens if you buy another/ bigger boat? Would you have to revamp the system? I like it it's a great idea, but you would have to sell me on the longevity of the system.
Hi Landon, Yes we do make these lifts to accommodate 30'-40' yachts. The lift is hung from the dock structure above the water. When in the up position nothing to do with the lift is in the water so ice shouldn't be an issue!
Northshore Waterfront Solutions Wow that's huge! What's the biggest you guys can manufacture? My uncle owns a very large yacht although I don't know the exact length. It's at least 45+ feet long with pod drives we spent a week on it in the Apostle Islands.
ROTAXD have you ever drove a boat onto a lift? If you aren't lined up dead center then when the lift is raised the boat sits tilted, unlike a car. Also the boat rocks as you move around or drifts slightly and you are no longer lined up as when you first pulled up. Docking a boat is a lot different then parking a car if you want to do it right.
Hi Parker, Yes we do offer a version with a cut out in the platform. That being said, most people will just set the bunks higher leaving the platform solid which allows the platform to create the seal with the door when installed in a boathouse.
@@daveklein2826 well at two minutes in I see that there are cables and a frame in the water. The cables might retract sufficiently, however at my lake, the ice shifts and flows during the freeze and thaw. Even our docks 4" pipe that is in the ground 10' has shifted during winter months. I am thinking longevity during winter months, as I see the dock/boat house has a similar foundation structure...
@@daveklein2826 but is it not all built together and work together, so the foundation on my house has nothing to do with the walls or floor joists? We take our current lift out every winter, as the entire lift is not in the water, just the base. Unless you are an installer or manufacturer I do not think you are qualified to answer my question. If you are one of the two, I would like a better explaination than "nothing is in the water" Thank you for the time though.
Hugh Jassel pretty sure a serious boater doesn't need a platform lift as a serious boater will always have his lift down as a serious boater uses his lift.
Interesting, but I'll keep my camp in the woods & my boat on the trsiler where it belongs. Folks that own waterfront property are never serious boaters. Serious boaters go to a different lake every weekend.
Most of my friends would ruin the boat in this because there is nothing soft to save it when entering (imagine wind and waves, even for pofessionals damages guaranteed)...Looks like a build by somebody who has never had a boat
As an added bonus, you can keep any walleyes that ride the lift up.
It's very cool. I'm still waiting on my mega millions ticket though!
Go ahead and put me down for one just like in the video!
Those panel alignments. Beautiful American quality.
Except it is Canadian hence the .ca address.
@@Joshua79C They're actually from Galveston, Texas...
I like how it’s secure. As I would have a expensive few boats in there :.
Now go one step further and make it so you can rotate the boat around when it is up.
I like that clean look.
This is the one I would get. .. it’s great. Looks clean. Look.
So cool. .. want one of these at my lakehouse.
Looks very useful
thats bad ass!!! that thing is nicer then my garage my boat and ski sits in lol thats money right there lol
Nice boat house WOW what could be simpler
I may have to look into this..
Do y'all have anymore updated videos 2022 ????
Everyone that cant afford this system is so salty over that "serious boaters" comment😂
I like how she said it secure... Rock=window...
I wish I have this quality of life 🙏
I like it. I love it. I have two boats
what's gonna happen when the lake rises or goes down? you gotta move an entire garage?

I am not a client but I was wondering can you turn the bunks are you ground to make the swim platform face the back and the front facing the door?
Rich ppl look like they have a really cool life

The ol' 'rich people are dumb' story is what we poor people tell ourselves so we can sleep at night.

mechanical and there is nothing in the water for the cold to affect it
what happens if the water goes higher or lower over time?
I don't even have a boat and I want this lol
Nice product
Perfect system!
What brand is the composite decking ?
any will work
And what does this go for? Probably more than the boat
as it should be
That crooked end board is driving me nuts...
Get a life
do u guys make these for small 30-40 ft yachts and does it matter if the lift system freezes in the winter

Can I use this for my 4.5million dollar yacht
Looks like a pain to line up the boat with the bunkers without any uprights to use as alignment
Jacob Praska no different than pulling the car or truck into the garage after you've done it a few times.

What model of mastercraft is that?
Looks like a 22 foot Mastercraft X-Star SS
circa 2009
Can it lift the titanic?
My dad wants that
I want your dad
Wow that escalated quickly
*Please don't read my Profile Picture* hahahaha u sir are a legend

What’s funny is that seadoo jetboat is probably 1/4 of the price of the lift
Whats funny?
it's very cool. but it cost to much and is very slow.
LMAO
What happens when the water freezes?
as you can see nothing is in the water

I have the white part down, now I just need the rich part
How much does this cost

So can you get one of these for a 42 ft yacht ? 😂
That model the whole boat house goes up 12 feet with the platforms in case you have high water :)
its all a question of money

Exactly so take your Pirouge butt back to the bayou lady!
I wish i could ball that hard.
how did the other ski stay put.
Hi Pat, we have one PWC sitting slightly higher than the other. The lower PWC floats first in case you only want to take one out.
Superglue :)

Moving a bit fast lady, your telling me about 3 feet of water depth etc. I don't even own a damn boat yet lol
More of a funny guy...does that mean the lift is not for me? 😋
The lift was so expensive they couldn't afford interior walls.
everything takes time
perfect for all of those living off credit
Are y'all hiring lol
i don't think "serious boaters" is the proper term
Serious boaters? More like knobs who have a boat and serious money...nice try guys.
