Another good vid' very familiar with torrevieja' punta prima'playa flamenca when I'm over there' a great walk is punta prima to torrevieja along the coast 7k and there a dog beach in between' cheers 👌👍

Hi Steve I really enjoy watching your videos around Torrevieja. I'm from northern Ireland also and my husband and I are considering buying a second home around torrevieja to spend upto 3 months at a time when we retire. We originally considered the centre of the city but we are leaning towards some of the areas outside of the city. We have done a bit of research and are considering the area between the lakes, la mata, villamartin among others. We are looking somewhere that has good public transport and good everyday amenities and big supermatket. We dont want to be relying on a car all the time. Have you any advice on other areas outside the city. Thanks Roisin
Hi Roisin, I'm glad you enjoy the videos. Torrevieja is a great choice I think too, it has everything you could need and lots of opportunities to meet other folk. Unfortunately I'm not too knowledgeable about the outskirts, I tend to stay around the busiest central areas when I'm there! If I was moving to Costa Blanca it would probably be top of my list. Wish I could be of more help but best of luck finding the perfect place! 😊
Looks real nice there. Prices for for apartments seem to be reasonable out there. Has it got a lot of bars?
It does, is probably the most lively town in this area. Lots of pubs and food

Just watching the video on TV & saw the Muscovy Duck too! We were in the park around 10th February and absolutely loved it. I keep chickens & ducks but they’ve some crackers (or quackers) there! Cheers Steve 👍

We are going there for 22 Year's we bought our house there in 2000, just love the place we spend 3 Months there every Year, have you tried the Churros dipped into hot chocolate, The healthiest place in the World to live, with the salt in the air.......That church is stunning we go there to Mass every Sunday, and the timber walk is to die for, We live here in West Cork in Ireland and I think you are from the other end of the Country. then you have La Zenia roundabout the famous Paddy's Point Pub.
That's fantastic, having a house here. No, I haven't had the Churros in chocolate, I'll keep an eye out for it! I've had a couple of fry-ups in Paddy's, great place. I had my first ever holiday without parents in Cork, the start of my travels many years, hitchhiked to Mizzen Head with a schoolfriend, had one of my first beers in the most southerly pub in Ireland lol great memories. 😊
