    For this machine, John Deere needs a center suction and high emptying like the Iseki and Gianni Ferrari Turbo

    It's a sea of JD green when you pan the camera... love it

    Congrats on the new mowing machine - and a very nice one at that. Agree with your comment regarding the particulate filter and running wide open; a lot of the Kubota F3990 front mowers and ZD1511 zero-turns (37 HP diesel) we have sold have had problems with the emissions systems due to excessive idling. But running them wide open gets them hot enough to keep the particulate matter burning off and reduce clogging - this can be a hard concept for some to grasp.

      The harder you run them the cleaner they stay.... and yes that is hard to grasp for some. My 4066R has an idling problem, but I recognize that its caused by its use. On the rare occasion I can open up the taps for a couple hours at a time it cleans itself right out.

      I a lot of applications, like when I'm using the broom.. I don't want the machine wide open, running it at 1/4 throttle is plenty fast

    I noticed a Finch Services Decal on the deck. Was this setup from Maryland by any chance?

      @michaelsabaka2258 Рік тому

      Was wondering the same thing as Finch is in my area. Although, they've been bought out by Atlantic Tractor as of last year and now their only location is Eldersburg, MD and they only deal in golf and sports turf equiment. The other locations which are now Atlantic Tractor handle all the Ag and L/G equipment.

      I don’t have any history on the deck other than it came with the machine. Yes, it does appear the deck came from either PA or MD based on the tag. How it ended up in WI… I doubt we will ever know that answer.

    Do you have any good spots you look to find attachments for these John Deere front mount tractors? My father has a 1565 and we’ve had little luck finding any attachments for it.

    • @mmrbeef
      @mmrbeef  Рік тому

      Dealers, auctions, or whole machines. Since these are commercial machines most are traded in or sold at auction. Normally in those cases all the attachments will stay with the machine. What attachments are you looking for? I have a 60HD blower and a 60" deck I am selling.

    So what forward facing tractor would this be equivalent to? kind of like the previous types a 430 where it looked like they flipped the seat around along with controls and steering wheel and you've got a f935. Or maybe i'm just dreaming

    • @mmrbeef
      @mmrbeef  Рік тому

      The F935's are two generations removed from the 1585. There were the F910, F912's,... through the F935's and F1145's. Then came the Series I 1420, 1435, 1445 and the Series II 1420-1565. The 1550-1585 is the current versions of front mounts.

    will we see more mowing next year with this machine?

    • @mmrbeef
      @mmrbeef  Рік тому

      Yes, that is the plan. Both the V-Flex deck and 72” side discharge should both be in some buses next May or June.

      @caydenvlogs-mn1jo Рік тому

      @@mmrbeef I like the 72 inch side discharge better then the v-flex and I might buy your 1445 but that all depends on if I can get a good paying part time job.

    Good morning, would you have any information on the glow plug system for the 1585? Our seems to only stay on for a second at most regardless of the ambient temperatures ( +1C, -15C, -25C and colder in these parts ).

    • @mmrbeef
      @mmrbeef  Рік тому

      Sadly I do not have much in the way of technical information for these newer units, yet. At colder temps does it struggle to start or seem like the plugs are not working? The light is on for a few seconds in my 1585 but it is not on for an extended period of time. Something else I thought of while typing this comment, you could put a multi-meter on the plugs and see if the power is still to them even after the light goes off. Sometimes the power time to the glow plugs is a fixed time, regardless of light time.

      @@mmrbeef Thanks, I'll try measuring at the plugs.

    Everything you have is an amazing piece of equipment that new machine that you have with the government juice attached to it people don’t understand what problems people have with these things good luck you might have enough money to keep that machine running first thing I would do if I were you just find a way to remove that government juice container

    • @mmrbeef
      @mmrbeef  Рік тому

      Is it my favorite thing on the machine, no it is not. At this point its part of any new piece of equipment. I've put 215k miles on my truck and 400+hrs on my CUT without many headaches. As much as I dislike stuff like that, it isn't changing so we might as well learn to live with it. Just my opinion mind you.
