Yeah. This guy had Amber completely wrong. She has to assume he killed his wife and own child. She’s got a 2-year to consider. Why should she and her kid be any safer? This guy applauds Kessinger? What a joke. Nichol was what, 28, and she was allowed to have her daddy participate in the police interview? How does he not consider that shady? And had Shanann not been gone so much that summer, she would’ve been dead much sooner.

Blaming women for the crimes of men always seems like veiled misogyny for me. Even if Kessinger knew Watts was married and still slept with him, that sort of pales in comparison to stuffing your toddlers into oil tanks and burying your wife in a shallow grave. To my mind, if these men were the kind of people to make their family disappear the second they find them inconvenient, a lot of things could lead to them becoming family annihilators, not just infidelity. Anthony Todt didn't have a mistress, nor did Josh Powell. Supposed Chris Watts never met Kessinger, but he did discover how much money his family was losing to endless MLM schemes and decided to kill his family for life insurance...does that seem impossible? In any case, I'm fairly disgusted by the tendancy to almost make allowances for family annihilators by blaming the women who, had things gone differently, could easily have been these men's next victims.

I think he purposely stayed out of the media, no interviews etc, because Amber, and possibly other women he had hooked up with and conned, would recognise him and report him. I don't think Ambers five day silence is significant. The media were reporting a wife missing, her picture was all over the news, but Scotts wasn't. Why would Amber think that Laci was the wife, who she had been told was had already died months before. Even if you caught one news report in that five days, saying "the search is still on for missing Modesto woman, Laci Peterson". You wouldn't put two and two together and think - oh thats my boyfriends dead wife, who died months ago, until you actually saw Scott in the news. And when she did realise she called the police. Laci & Connor were the victims here, but to a lesser degree so was Amber. Scott chose her because she was vulnerable, a single mom - he was completely using her - he wasn't interested in her - she served whatever his sick twisted purpose was in his life at that time. I don't think Amber should be measured up against Nichol, and who contacted law enforcement the quickest - and then speaking of Amber's fairy tale and how badly she may have wanted it. It seems like you are under the counter blaming her - I dare say it seems like it is 'triggering' you about perhaps some of your own past issues with women. I say that respectfully. Amber had a child, there was so much at stake for her - her world just got turned upside down - she knew what a media frenzy there would be - she had a lot to consider before whatever time it was that she contacted the police. She was right, she wasn't a 'mistress', Scott lied to her - imagine the shame she felt when she did speak to media about everything. Scott potentially ruined her life as well, let her write her book, and tell her side of the story.

I know Amber didn’t react right away but Scott & Laci did live some distance from her. His life was more of a mystery to her where Chris W & Nicole K worked together. I can see Amber not reacting right away bc she didn’t know of anything suspicious until she saw it on the news. Also Scott told her he was going to be out of town so his absence during the initial missing phase of Laci wasn’t suspicious. I have a lot of respect of Amber. She called. Was helpful. Was recording conversations & cooperating with the police. She played the part to help get him caught. In the beginning of the trial the prosecution was floundering. Scott had a very good lawyer & could have put doubt into the juries minds. I think Amber’s testimony sunk Scott’s defense despite the lawyer he had. There were a lot of other key evidence that sunk him but I think her testimony stuck in the minds of the jurors who ultimately convicted him. The innocent project is a joke. I think the only reason why they were convinced to take on his case is because his sister in law became a lawyer to defend him. Her delusional input convinced them that he was innocent. It is ridiculous!! I pray Scott doesn’t get a retrial or out of prison. He killed his wife & son bottom line. He got lucky they took away the death penalty. The least he can do is a spend the rest of his life rotting in prison.

In the meantime, she’d deleted a lot of messages and photos and wasn’t upfront about other apps they used to communicate. Then she took her dad with her to the first two police interviews. You give her far too much credit 😉

There was only one person there that morning doing the crime and that was Chris Watts. All these anti-Nk truthers have never, and will never be able to put NK there that morning with Chris Watts. He was the lone ranger of the crime, period. As far as the shoe theory, Chris had them on during the loading and changed them to the black boots before he left and it is in the video. When he arrives back to the house to meet the officers, he is wearing those black boots that people claim to be NK's. His pants are covering the top part of the boots he has on. If that video was solid fact that she was there that morning, She would be in prison along with Chris. Facts solve crimes, not speculation.

I think you’re a bit too hard on Amber. Kessinger knew, Amber didn’t. Amber had to consider what he would do to her and her 2-year old daughter, because if he can kill his wife and own son, he could kill Amber to shut her up (and her daughter) Kessinger couldn’t talk to police without her daddy there. And Kessinger could have been planting ideas in Chris’ head, so you have zero evidence she bears no guilt on anything. I like your channel, but I believe you’re way off on comparing Nichol favorably to Amber. I’m fine with her writing a book, because we all KNOW she’s an innocent victim. Can’t say the same about Kessinger. She didn’t ask how she died because some people put compassion over their own interests. He was crying and distraught and she is too nice a person to drill him him with inappropriate questions at the wrong time. As far as she KNEW, she had plenty of time to wait until he was ready to talk about what she perceived to be an extremely painful event in his life. You see a time crunch that wasn’t there on December 9th.

This is the first time I hear that Laci had "inherited money." Where did that info come from? I thought he had a life insurance policy on her not that she had an inheritance ??

    • @TCRS

Laci had already inherited about $100,000 in jewelry after her grandmother's death. She was set to inherit part of over $2 million from the estate of her grandparents.

Another thing missed early on was Scott's other flings; it's now being suggested that his sister-in-law Janey was among the flings, and Laci found out about it and threatened to tell Scott's brother.
    Another motive for murder?

Kessinger came forward not to help the police but to save her own ass. If she was soo helpful, than why did she removed all of the communications with Watts from her phone and why did she lie to the police during interrogation. This channel is constantly trying to paint Kessinger as as a blameless victim which obviously she wasn't. Amber was the innocent victim and she helped the police to catch Scot. She was nothing like Kessinger.

    Nick and all,
I followed all these cases too as they happened and even payed attention to all of their aftermath updates as they crossed my path thruout and the years. I’m curious about something though, and wanted to ask readers who pass thru here if what I think/feel is of the average, minority or majority ?
I don’t know my reason for this but, I am so tired of the Ramsey case that short of an announcement that the killer has been identified, I really don’t have ANY desire to hear anything more about it. The redundancy of analysis on every single piece of it has been been squeezed & beaten to a pulp without ANY revelation since it happened. It’s DEAD and has been for a long time… I haven’t heard anything new for decades.
Are any of you feeling exasperated too over it or do you still welcome the subject for discussion? Just curious.

I believe that Scott fell head over heels for Amber. He got whipped (sexually) & he lusted for her more. Laci was the fall-person. He didn’t want to lose Amber, if she found out. Scott is sick! Scott’s jerk-off voice, while in the car, talking on the phone to Amber-says a lot!

  • @Galantski
    @Galantski 15 днів тому +1

I've always thought that Scott killed Laci, but was it first degree murder or a lesser offense? For example, they could have been in a fight, and he struck her forcefully in such a way that caused her to fall & hit her head on something, fracturing her skull. Even if he didn't intend to kill her--and that's a big "if"--he did not report what happened, not even calling 9-1-1 for help, and then criminslly disposed of her body.
