If you’re watching this and running an AEM in a eg/ek/dc/ej, this doesn’t apply to you. You WANT to keep the automatic configuration. This is for someone wanting to use the stock ECU. 🙌🏽
Just noticed something when you were putting the top came back on you were using the automatic cam pully not the standard one do I use the automatic cam pully One has bigger lobes then other one but the same amount
Good question. Yeah in the original edit I did film putting on the auto cam gear. But I did put in big orange letters use the manual cam gear. A couple mins before that ... I said "it's a couple days later...." I explain how I went back and ground those spots and did use the manual cam gear. .. so yes. If you're using the manual harness and sensors you need the manual cam gear w the big lobes. 👍
I thought I remember reading from the AcuraZine forums that you could if you jumped a couple wires and the park wire ect. I've actually been trying to find that out myself. I want to try to go back to the auto harness and ecu, I think there is something wrong w the manual ecu I don't have anything over 5500 rpm after the manual swap.
Goodluck finding a 6 speed. That's why we did our latest swap an automatic. But this particular one, the manual, came out of an 03 CL type S. The auto, a TL type S.
@danieldukes1954 we just found a complete running and driving 03 TL typeS. So you'll have everything engine, trans, harness, ecu, shifter box and linkage. But there isn't a company that I know of that makes mounts for the auto swap.
Can’t find one online would you by any chance have one with the wire lying around that you can possibly sell me or I need to know what kind of J Series block it is
@@greaseroyalty8518 I don't bro I only had the one 6 speed motor. You'll have to find a manual J32A2. If you can't find one I know people have just reworked the automatic harness.
@@Trenchboi69 I haven't had much time to look into it yet. But do you think it's related. I didn't have issues with VTEC before the swap. And the VSA light has been on since before the swap too. ..
Excellent video my guy, great info. Thank you for posting!

Nice one bro🔥💯

I doing the same thing can I just switch the heads to the auto block?
Is it still possible to run a manual transmission w/o having to swap the cam/crank sensors and gears???

@@octanemayhem2686 oh okay, just asking cause I have my 6 spd trans from an 04 tl ready to throw on
Im sorry if you mentioned it already but is the trans from an accord or a tl? I cant find either anywhere! 😅

@octane & mayhem can i straight drop in a j32a2 Into my 04 base tl 6 speed manual
Yeah, PJ Walters on Facebook is making some plug conversions for this rn. So it should be all plug and play.
Awesome ! Thanks to you and him will get in contact with him !
@@cleanishtl7177 no problem, he's on the Jseries and JSwap Engine Community 👍 all your wiring needs for Js
Is it also possible to j30a1swap automatic to manual?
I'm not sure bro. Ask Don RPM systems on IG. He's the goat 🐐
You didn’t have to shave the head for the sensor bolt. All you had to do was take the sensors off the plates and switch them 🤷🏻♂️
Tried that believe me. It doesn't work they're different
For these 2 motors anyways.
What year does that lower crank shaft sensor come out of cause I can’t find it
I believe it's only 02 03 TL/CL 6 speed

Do you have problems with vsa
No I don't think so. Are you ? My RPMs are good. The only thing is no VTEC at the moment
Did you fix the no VTEC?

@@octanemayhem2686 is it getting everything it needs for vtec ? Is your coolant temp working? VTEC uses that also
