Perfect timing. I finished Forces last night, just to wake up to this. Infinite really was the step up from Shadow in how edgy can Sega make a character before they're cutting themselves on-screen. His gimmick made for some neat stages, though.
The problem is, anything edgier than Shadow will fall out of the sweet spot Shadow occupies, where his edginess makes him more awesome. By out-edging Shadow, Infinite just becomes ridiculous.
