They're ill prepare for the opening of the new stations /route. Due to change of the government in 2018, they downgraded the project. The free ride probably to ease public dissatisfaction. But hopefully it'll get better in the future.

And the free fares for all of the train services will be ended maybe tomorrow or next tomorrow… I go to kl last month but I didn’t have a chance to use ktm because of rushing time and just use lrt & mrt to go into my destination… actually there is a story why mrt was seems like a new and clean… only the local know about it 🫢

Sadly the cracked windows on KTM trains is because of kids throwing rocks from outside. Since it is the only train that is not elevated, so it is more easier for kids to throw rocks at it.
Kids throwing rocks at ktm Windows is a long time problem ktm cannot resolve. Its the kids family that need to assist. Or just place guards with cameras at the most common location just to scare them.
We need serious behaviour correction. Throwing stones at the windows of train is so uncivilised acts. How could any country attain developed status with this kind of mindset, attitude and acts. With this kind of mindset the country would remain forever in developing status. Civilised country start from the mind. Maybe government should take action to inculcate the responsibile behaviour from the kindergartens and primary schools. And government should inculcate cleanliness and being organised too from small just like in japan. Yes, I would say the government is somehow succesfull in inculcating the acceptance of multi culture and diversity. I think that the government should add the above too. I sincerely want a positive outcome for the country. Koala home, please disclose more of your observation of the country. We need input from the people of a much more developed and civilised country like Japan. Thank you.
