- In this episode, we travel to Kuala Lumpur from North India for our first taste of Malaysia, and we are blown away with this city that has so much life, character & culture! We spend some time exploring the lesser known parts of Kuala Lumpur - Merdeka Square, the National Mosque, Botanical Gardens, National Museum, Central Markets, Petaling Street (Chinatown) and Presint 18 Parkrun. We feast ourselves on food, from iced tea, to chinese snacks, dumplings, chicken & rice bowls and the trusty 7-11 goodies. What an incredible start to our time in Malaysia!

The white building you saw next to 118 was Dayabumi..it was the 1st tallest building in Kl..back in the old days❤

@@emmyanual8183 not quite the tallest as back then we already had the umbc building....dayabumi complex which includes the shopping gallery underneath the tower and the post office building adjacent to it was the biggest project back in the days.
Dayabumi housed Petronas Hq before moving to the Twin Tower. Beautiful white marble building with Islamic patterns.

Welcome to Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia! Malaysia encountered the North Eastern Monsoon rainning season from November to early January! You Guys missed the many Christmas Decorations in the many Shopping Malls in KL from November to December 2024 but can catch them in other channels! This Lunar New Year on 29thJan2025 will be the Wood Snake Year! February is incidently the hottest month in Malaysia & Singapore! Stay safe , healthy , stay vigilant & stay humble guys! Malaysian really love their nature. Some 'old' buildings may have overgrown looking like derelict but some people loves it, like my mom with her plants crawling all over my parent's house 😅

Welcome to Malaysia guys....enjoy your trip here in Malaysia. Currently and to towards Feb still the monsoon season and there will be rains now and then, floods as well in some cities/town so check for the weather forecast the areas where you intend to explore..
The really deep floods are on the East Coast states of Peninsula Malaysia and in Selangor it's occasionally in Taman Sri Muda. If you're on foot in KL city you'll be okay, if you're driving yes you can get caught in flash floods when it rains really heavily but that's quite rare.

Yes, better bring umbrella because its monsoon raining season 🌧. Another big park in KL is Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, its where locals do recreational activities especially in the evening n night

When in Malaysia. Do try exploring the local Kopitiam culture where local coffee and affordable delicious foods are sold. The older these Kopitiam looks, the better!😂😂😂

Travel from India to the next Malaysia you may find a very significant different. Try not to have that sceptical believe in your mind, explore as much as you can, try many foods as you wish. You will find the beauty of Malaysia and having your own perspective about this almost unknown little Country. Hope you enjoy your travel in Malaysia. T.C. travellers.

Kuala Lumpur is very underrated. Aussies normally travel to Singapore or Bangkok but rarely to Kuala Lumpur.
You’re right, we were surprised at how much we loved it! We highly rated Kuala Lumpur and will visit again for sure 😊
It’s a shame that none of the Aussie airlines fly direct to Kuala Lumpur which they seem to ignore but they fly to almost every other South East Asian capitals.

You miss the Bird and Butterfly Park in the Botanica Park. I saw the Hop In bus behind ypu;you should try to hop in as it will give you the city tour for free.

Exp when come to Malaysia they do eat at Singapore/Thai/Viet either than local Malaysians Restaurant n yet never try local dishes 1st. What apoint to visit here... right? But anyway its their right n i dont have to question it. yeah... I just wonder🤔. Im Sorry😅
Yes we aim to try both types of restaurants but usually we prefer the local restaurants as they are much better and cheaper too 😊

Friday is the Muslim version of the Christian Sunday, hence mosques being closed to non-Muslims save for 3pm onwards 😊
