Giant DIY 600 Gallon Jungle Vivarium

  • In this one, I finally setup, plant, and showcase the new 600 gallon vivarium! It's been in the works for a really long time now and I'm so excited to finally have it done! I've been working on it for the past year or so, but I've been talking about it for much longer than that.
In some cases I wanted to keep this build simple. Plus my vision for it always was just a jungle scape full of plants. I didn't care to add a water feature or anything like that. I also WILL stock it at some point. After all the work I put into this, I'd rather have it season for a little while fist. I'm fairly certain I know what I want living in here, but I'm open to suggestions - let me know what you think in the comments!
Also, if you want to know how I built the enclosure itself, check out the below video. It was pretty easy to do to and not very expensive. I used a lot of scrape materials and simple techniques to make it happen.

What do you think of this vivarium? I don't know about you, but I love it! It looks much better in person obviously, but I hope you enjoyed seeing it through the lens nonetheless. Stoned out here, north of Dallas, Texas in McKinney. And I’m listening to it with sound and I’m like 2X as thrilled as I would be without sound. Do you think that if we all turned the inside of our houses into vivariums and the earth lost its atmosphere that we would be able to survive? 😅 cool

Tanner, I just want to thank you.
My 6-year-old son has a huge fear of creepy crawlies, and he is slowly overcoming this fear thanks to watching your channel.
Last summer, I made a jam jar terrarium after watching your 'how to make a terrarium for free' video. I hoped it would show my boy how bugs are an important part of life and (where we live) completely harmless. He wasn't interested. But since then, a year later, the terrarium is thriving, the flora looks incredible, and the isopods had babies. And one day it finally piqued my son's interest.
Since then, we have made another terrarium together, my son has been handling ants, worms, isopods, and almost picked up a spider while hunting for hardscape, moss, and isopods to include. I can't believe the turnaround.
    Thank you, Tanner!

3:30 mr SerpaDesign ( I don't know your name ) I really recomend for your health to wear at least a cheap mask . You were quite close to a semi-close location where a lot of plastic dust could be on the air. A little is ok if someone does it 1 time in his lifetime , but I think you do it often . Your desition but I think you are a nice guy for you to have lung problems.

I suggestion.. perhaps add a mini sound system so that you could seat yourself in front of this and hear jungle sounds (birds, water, etc) and be even more immersed...
Plant life would also really like it I imagine! Yes, I'm a believer in a form of plant consciousness.

Watched a whole bunch of your videos over the past week or two but this one got the sub lol, your truly made a great piece of art. This is definitely better than any piece of art one could have in their home. Also I absolutely love the way you make your video and how you explain everything and name all of your plants. I wish to have these kinds of things in my house one day. Also, 22 years! that's really awesome I'm glad you still love this after so long
