There’s two enchantments you missed on your diving kit, aqua affinity for the helmet (lets you see in lava) and capacity on your back tank gives you 30 minutes of dive time rather than 15 minutes.
Turtle eggs are okay but they are slower than having them angry at you. The glass roof works though perfect. Leave a 2 block gap and build another ring around the farm exactly like the magma in glass and that should stop ghasts and I think magma cubes need a 3x3x3 spawning area so the 2 high gap stops them spawning too
well, its not really cheaty as your taking advantage of a game machinic. the same thing that allows you to get above bedrock and the same one people use to break bedrock, Also, cough, turtle eggs

If you put a row of bottom slabs over the rings and change the bridges to bottom slabs, you’d stop cubes and ghasts from spawning, this is the same farm I build in survival. Love the series.
there's one addon that I've seen around quite a bit called Ars Elemental which adds quite a few spells and different mobs revolving around different elements
This was a really nice episode! And looking forward for more! Though I'd recommend adding in some iron golems at the outer edge ti get rid of the magma cubes. And some strips of glass above the top layer to stop Ghasts from spawning. If anything, could always just look up Ilmango's design for some tips. Cause vanilla spawning mechanics can get annoying. Some mods that I've found to be really interesting in a create modpack are the Aether and Blue Skies. Aether portals work with create mod trains and support for Blue Skies is coming in Steam and Rails 1.6! I really recommend those mods and it would be cool to see farms made for their resources. Loving the videos!
They were cut because they made the terrain disgusting to look at and was broken. They were never really planned, notch added them just as a test. As for the being because of performance, i dont see how slabs would cause problems

Ghasts need a five by five by five area to spawn in, so if you place slabs on the top layer four blocks apart, it’ll completely get rid of them. Not sure how to deal with the magma cubes, though they seem to also have a space requirement.
Since you have the Alex Mobs mod, a creature called the bone serpent drops their teeth, which when brewed, creates a potion of Lava Vision, allowing you to see through lava clearly
21:18 I believe the gamma mod you have is conflicting with the netherites lava vision. You're supposed to be able to see as well as if you were above the lava. Try turning the gamma mod off just to see if that's the issue
12:32 a mod I love is Domestication Innovation. It allows you to power up you tamed mobs via giving them enchanted collars and allows you to have them respawn when they die via their own bed... I am honestly annoyed that so many popular modpacks don't have it cuz it's so cool
Hey Foxy, forgot to mention this mod in the last video, but I recommend the Create Jetpack mod since it basically combines a jetpack and the backtank (both copper and netherite versions) so you can swim in lava and fly with the same piece of gear. It works the same as the backtank, only allowing you to fly. You have to use a mechanical crafter to make it. (I can't post the link to the mod or it won't allow me to post the comment) P.S. Not being able to see in the lava with the netherite diving gear must have been a visual glitch because you're supposed to be able to see when under the lava.
As far as a possible build, I've got something of an idea. Take and build a sort of warehouse building. Inside build about nine parallel rings of minecart track with two by two blocks of obsidian in the middle. Have at least three of the straight bits on each square be a powered rail, with the fourth being an activator rail hooked to a piston. Ahead of the piston set a little chunk of track with a minecart on it, and head of that place the next ring of track. At the far left of each line place another piston-cart setup and hook all three into the same line of redstone, making sure to place repeaters in order to keep the signal strong on both ends. Run one central line off the middle strand to the outside of the building. Hook that to a lightning rod. A tall one. What's the main idea? Here it is- after all that's set up, place skulk sensors on top of the obsidian stacks, then run lines of them through a wide opening in the right side of the building, branching off in different directions, and linking with other sensors on top of various buildings, which in turn are hooked up to redstone lamps. Basically this'll set up a power station in the map, and the fun part is that it'd be all started with a bolt of lightning. If that makes sense. Y'might have to start with one ring of track to test the concept.
I wanted to sob when you started putting it in the basalt deltas. I’ve made these types of farms multiple times and nothing compares to finishing the build only to realize it’s in the wrong biome. Hours of work for a subpar result. Luckily you’d been pretty early in the build but building this in vanilla and realizing it’s wrong truly is the worst pain imaginable
I have a tip. I’m not sure if you’re aware, but you don’t need a sequenced gearshift to operate a gantry. You need a regular one. All you need to do is reverse the direction of rotation.
There is a create mod that adds ender stuff, like an ender tank and even an ender motor that lets you have an rpm anywhere without needing to make another power provider
Another method to attempt to stop dropbears is how people stop spiders in mobfarms. They might require a 2x2 space, so having a low roof with trapdoors on some blocks tgat prevent 2x2 spaces would be a potential solution without changing configs
When it came to the section of the video of what mods are going to be added, and with Mekanism (eventually) going to be added one day; I feel like "Ars Nouveau" should be added *after* Mekanism, mainly because of my fascination with these 3 quotes: Clarke "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Meaning the progression from futuristic with Mekanism to magical with Ars Nouveau could mean you've gotten to that stage of technology. Niven "Any sufficiently analyzed magic is indistinguishable from science." Meaning that it might lose it's luster of being 'magical', because it is no longer the unknown, but the known, but this is where the 3rd quote comes in. Pratchett "It doesn't stop being magic just because you know how it works." I hope this helps out a bit of the future planning/ideas when it comes to this playthrough! I have two mods I'd recommend myself, I went onto the Curseforge website and saw that these 1 mod were available for 1.20 and one other (possible) mod that needs to be paired with a resource pack once it gets updated. 1: An on demand "crawl" mod, allowing yourself to crawl without actually needing a trapdoor/external mechanism in order to make yourself go prone. This has saved me countless times of hastle of needing to constantly re-mine areas over and over if I wanted to fill up spaces that had moving parts that I wanted to hide; instead of making a 2 block tall hole I'd also only need to make it 1 block big! There's also the bonus is that if you can force yourself going prone, you can actually properly swim with diving boots instead of getting stuck sinking! (I would've gone with the mod called "Personality" for this but unfortunately it is not 1.20 yet.) 2: Create itself does have its own "Potato Cannon". It's silly, and I completely understand wanting to disconnect any war/gun mods to keep Minecraft the silly little game it is (silly is good.) However I feel like there should at least be some other ranged option other than the Bow and Crossbow. It hasn't been updated yet to 1.20, but there's a resource pack that makes MrCrayFish's gun mod look like the create potato cannon, and turns the bullets into fireworks! (including the SFX) to make sure minecraft keeps its charm. Unfortunately, however, the old simple models are part of the "legacy" version of the resource pack. Thankfully however, since it is a resource pack; once MrCrayFish's gun mod updated to 1.20, I'm sure you'd be able to figure out how to grab the legacy assets from a resource pack and port them to 1.20 too! The resource pack is called "Create Guns" by "EndRage". There was also a datapack that used to go alongside the legacy version that made the weapons have create crafting recipes with the mechanical crafters.
Another thing I forgot: with so many mods, it'd get pretty difficult/lost to keep track of what exactly what enchantments could go on what if any of the mods add any enchantments; ESPECIALLY if any of the enchantments are mutually exclusive with each other. To combat this, and to only use it for the purpose of figuring out what items can get enchanted with what gets added, instead of going through each individual mod page (which sometimes doesn't even have this to add the "Enchanting Infuser" mod. Once an item is placed inside, it'll display all available enchantments for the item that AREN'T treasure enchantments, as well as arrows to increase/decrease the level of the item. However, most importantly; if there's a mutually exclusive enchantment, it'll grey out the enchantment in the list that's mutually exclusive with it!
You could’ve left the first platform and turned it into a Froglight farm. Not only because Froglights are awesome, but you also get magma from a Froglight farm and you could use that to make as much magma as you may need in the future.
I would recommend you adding apotheosis to your modpack. It has diffrent modules you can deactivated if you dont like parts of the mod. Partically the Spanner Module from apotheosis would be good for your series to build every mob farm you want. You can change the Type of mob that spawns, spawn range, spawn amount, if a Player needs to near bye and more
You can prevent ghast spawns by not giving them the 3x3x3 space they need, which you can do with lower slabs in rows every two rows. The zombie piglins will also try to trample turtle eggs, so you can lure them with those.
one tip I can offer for your nether gold farm. Place a layer of slabs or glass above the top layer of magma cubes as if you were putting in another floor, this should stop Ghasts from spawning
I would have said to add a mod called Infinity Cave, however it messes up minimap mods, which is a bummer because it also adds a few new caves, as well as making the world go to -128. If only it worked with map mods

For diamond farm, you should make it like IRL with a lot of coals, pressed in basin with super heated blaze burner and then it has to be sandpapered to get one diamond. It'll be both balance and gives you diamond
Awww, no plans for a zoo and no drinks mods allowed. Oh well, Create farms are still fun as heck to watch. The new villager stations mod you mentioned later on sure give me hope that someday you might make a cool village for villagers to run around safely tho :D I'll still be hopping in to watch whatever you build, Foxy, cuz you always make it fun. Feels like I'm watching a friend doodle around and figure out how everything works in Create. I dont know enough about Create to actually reccomend builds or factories, but I sure would like to see you work with organic as possible shapes one day. Maybe in your magic era, you could make some kind of enchanted grove with custom trees and froglights to light the area! Maybe all wood types stem from this grove, since I remember you having some really cool modded wood varieties.... That would be so gorgeous....Idk if it would have a proper use, really, but the massive beauty alone would be cool af. Maybe there's magic mod related farms in the trunk of each/several of the big ol trees....
For the ghasts put a layer of slabs or glass (glass might be better) over the roof with 2 blcoks of air between and the ghast wont spawn (make it as tall as the pigman or 1 block higher) and ghasts wont spawn. You have to disable dropbears in the config for the biome or all together if you don't want them sadly.
if you put some lines of glass blocks (or lower slabs) 2-3 blocks above the top ring of magma block, that should stop any large sized magma cubes as well as blocking the spawning of ghasts since ghast need a 4x4 area of air in order for them to spawn if i remember correctly.
All magma cubes actually require the spawning space of a large magma cube, as it checks the space before deciding what size to make them. So anything that stops large magma cubes spawning also stops every other kind (hence why they weren't spawning at all in the bottom two layers)
A tip that I found out about, if you manage to make a netherite jetpack ( thr one that uses the back tank) you can swim in lava while having the jet pack equipped
Speaking of Mekanism, There is that one SCADA controller on Computercraft: Tweaked. You can make digitally controlled fission reactor with that one. Unfortunatley, it requires Immersive Engineering, as long as I know. I've never tried that with Create mod, so I don't know about compats and so on. Buut, you can research that if you want, It's really interesting!
Place Slabs above 2 blocks of Magma this prevents Ghast and like 1 slab row and then skip 1 and place it it prevents ghast And for auto agro put agrored nametaged piglins on everyside and a trap em but the other zombies see him so they get agrored and cm to you or the deployer
Just in case, you could put the swords of your mob farms into the deployer :D this means less using diamond swords, (probably not entirely reliable but it's better than nothing)
Put lines of bottom slabs two block above the top magma level spaced 2 blocks apart from each other so ghasts and magma cubes don't spawn (idk if the magma cubes will stop spawning but the ghasts definitely will stop)

A diamond farm could be possible with pneumaticraft. In the FTB Skies Expert pack I'm playing, you can compress coal blocks for a diamond (maybe coal coke but that's immersive I think), and there's a create based air compressor too.

You can improve your gold farm some more by adding a roof made of something non-spawnable like glass or bottom slabs (something like two blocks above the highest spawn area). Love your series.
Speaking of magic mods, I think a smaller magic mod like forbidden and arcanus would be amazing for your world. it adds an item that makes gear unbreakable, amazingly powerful for farms that utilize tools in deployers

If/When you grab Ars Noveau, I recommend grabbing Ars Creo and a some other Ars Noveau addons (Too Many Glyphs is a personal favorite of mine).

With the elytra curio slot mod, it also gives you a configurable boost, which is much more efficient than fireworks.

You could add another ring of slabs, with a 2-block gap, above the topmost ring of Magma blocks. To deal with the Ghasts.

putting some glass above the top layer will help with the ghast and magma cube spawns

Create: Oppenheimered adds compatibility between Alex's Caves and Create, allowing you to automate many things from Alex's Caves.

Hey Foxy, just so you know there's a really cool minecraft mod called Spelunkery for 1.20.1 that adds in a legitimate way to break bedrock without using glitches called the Compression Blast Miner, hope this helps

You can place some glass blocks, 2 block above last layer of magma block that will prevent ghast and magma cubes from spawning
For diamond farm, you should make it like IRL with a lot of coals, pressed in basin with super heated blaze burner and then it has to be sandpapered to get one diamond. It'll be both balance and gives you diamond

Awww, no plans for a zoo and no drinks mods allowed. Oh well, Create farms are still fun as heck to watch. The new villager stations mod you mentioned later on sure give me hope that someday you might make a cool village for villagers to run around safely tho :D I'll still be hopping in to watch whatever you build, Foxy, cuz you always make it fun. Feels like I'm watching a friend doodle around and figure out how everything works in Create.
I dont know enough about Create to actually reccomend builds or factories, but I sure would like to see you work with organic as possible shapes one day. Maybe in your magic era, you could make some kind of enchanted grove with custom trees and froglights to light the area! Maybe all wood types stem from this grove, since I remember you having some really cool modded wood varieties.... That would be so gorgeous....Idk if it would have a proper use, really, but the massive beauty alone would be cool af. Maybe there's magic mod related farms in the trunk of each/several of the big ol trees....
For the ghasts put a layer of slabs or glass (glass might be better) over the roof with 2 blcoks of air between and the ghast wont spawn (make it as tall as the pigman or 1 block higher) and ghasts wont spawn. You have to disable dropbears in the config for the biome or all together if you don't want them sadly.
if you put some lines of glass blocks (or lower slabs) 2-3 blocks above the top ring of magma block, that should stop any large sized magma cubes as well as blocking the spawning of ghasts since ghast need a 4x4 area of air in order for them to spawn if i remember correctly.
All magma cubes actually require the spawning space of a large magma cube, as it checks the space before deciding what size to make them. So anything that stops large magma cubes spawning also stops every other kind (hence why they weren't spawning at all in the bottom two layers)

A tip that I found out about, if you manage to make a netherite jetpack ( thr one that uses the back tank) you can swim in lava while having the jet pack equipped
It requires Create: Jetpacks, but I do personally enjoy it more than the brass jetpacks from Create:Stuff&Editions
If you want tinkers construct try tetra which is a really fun custom weapon mod
Speaking of Mekanism, There is that one SCADA controller on Computercraft: Tweaked. You can make digitally controlled fission reactor with that one. Unfortunatley, it requires Immersive Engineering, as long as I know. I've never tried that with Create mod, so I don't know about compats and so on. Buut, you can research that if you want, It's really interesting!
So glad you have a magma cube farm so you can automate frog light.
immersive engineering is actually available for forge, because the neoforge mods are compatible with the forge loader
Minecraft use to have grass slabs that spawn naturally but it kept spawning where it wasn't intended to and the terrain ended up being bad

Place Slabs above 2 blocks of Magma this prevents Ghast
and like 1 slab row and then skip 1 and place it it prevents ghast
And for auto agro put agrored nametaged piglins on everyside and a trap em but the other zombies see him so they get agrored and cm to you or the deployer
Just in case, you could put the swords of your mob farms into the deployer :D this means less using diamond swords, (probably not entirely reliable but it's better than nothing)
Just a warning, Ars Nouveau adds some form of hunter that attacks you and does high damage, spawns during day and night
Put lines of bottom slabs two block above the top magma level spaced 2 blocks apart from each other so ghasts and magma cubes don't spawn (idk if the magma cubes will stop spawning but the ghasts definitely will stop)
With the seeing in lava the bright orange is caused by fullbright and i believe that aqua affinity on the helmet could be helpful

A diamond farm could be possible with pneumaticraft. In the FTB Skies Expert pack I'm playing, you can compress coal blocks for a diamond (maybe coal coke but that's immersive I think), and there's a create based air compressor too.
Immersive Engineering is absolutely available for 1.20.1, I just doublechecked their mod page. I'm playing ATM9 for 1.20.1 and it's in there as well.
Vector plates would help mob farming

Turtle eggs are mostly used in those gold farms
22:12 you should consider an actual magma cream farm like you almost accidentally made, because magma cream can be compacted into magma blocks

You can improve your gold farm some more by adding a roof made of something non-spawnable like glass or bottom slabs (something like two blocks above the highest spawn area). Love your series.

Speaking of magic mods, I think a smaller magic mod like forbidden and arcanus would be amazing for your world. it adds an item that makes gear unbreakable, amazingly powerful for farms that utilize tools in deployers
The latest update of Create: Enchantment Industry allows mending tools to work properly in deployers so it probably won’t be necessary

Just letting you know you can get immersive engineering on 1.20.1 by downloading the mod itself then dragging it into the mods folder.
please put a layer of glass with a 2 block gap on top of the farm. it will make the mamacupes and gast unable to spawn
if u put a ring of glass above the last layer of magma blocks u dont have to deal with all the other mobs just the pigmans

If you add Bedrock to the whitelist for the Carry On mod, you can move it around that way, also.
Turning off mob griefing should solve the ghast problem, but idk if that's too much cheating....
