    Brother u had rotor cuff surgery on same arm on which u had distal clavicle resection ?

    • @DanesinTexas
      @DanesinTexas  4 місяці тому +1

      No, on the other shoulder (my right one). Left shoulder was the distal. Shitty genes and Elite tennis is not good for the shoulders 👎👎👎

    Hey bud, we have had a few comments before. You were also planning to put a surgery update, waiting for that. I was seeing a surgeon today, he recommended two options: one light and "painless" - the same as yours, said 4 weeks and i am good... right :), second reconnecting ligaments, if the first one doesn’t work. Were you also suggested both, mate? How are you these days?

    • @DanesinTexas
      @DanesinTexas  2 роки тому +1

      I was not suggested both. 4 weeks 😳🤣 but yea I’m the same and actually having issues with rhomboid area near left shoulder blade and numbness running down my arm. Seeing chiropractor atm. When I’m better I’ll start doing pressing movements and see what the hell will happen. I’m tired of feeling like an invalid. It will either make it or break it. As soon as I’ve done some pressing movements, and see how it holds up, I will upload another update video…just haven’t had any changes really in exercises so haven’t had anything new to report. Keep u posted 👍

      Hello Dima. I was suggested the 2 option as well! 1 - Distal clavicule excision and 2 - Distal clavicle excision with reconstruction of the ac ligaments. He told me that the first I will be very good in 2 months and the 2 option 4 months. But what i am seeing on the Internet is the people 1 full year to recovery from those surgeries. What option have you chose? What do you think is the best option for you?

    I’m 10 weeks post op of acromioplasty & mumford surgery. Still severe pain. Haven’t been able to go to the gym in 15 months. How are you doing?

    • @DanesinTexas
      @DanesinTexas  3 роки тому +2

      Sorry to hear that man, looks like we are in the same boat. I just uploaded a 6-month post-op video, and basically I can’t do anything in the gym involving my left arm, and I can’t go across my chest, so sleeping on the side is painful. I found swimming, so I do that as often as I can….I miss the gym like crazy but at least the swimming makes me feel somewhat sane again 🤷‍♂️😵‍💫 I’m hoping 2022 will be better for us than 2021.

      Thanks for checking. You have quite the surgery ahead of you…man that is going to be brutal, I hope you have some good people around you who can help out, and I wish you all the best of luck with it. I have not improved much the last 2 months…steady pain when trying to use the shoulder for more than the every day use. I can’t lift or reach up high over my head without some level of pain, very frustrating. I have started swimming a few times per week and that feels good doing some exercise again…however, I can’t wait to get back to lifting some weights…when, I’m not sure 😞
