When I was in junior high school Metal was looked at as violent devil worship music and trying to hear words over the over the guitar and drums etc seemed impossible. But I gave Metallica a real chance and it's fun. Eminem and a lot of hip hop is despite cursing and the subject is actually more intellectually stimulating then Ryan might like. Societal, family,social and inequality can be heavy subjects. But a lot of it is funny and a lot meant to be provocative.
