I love credit cards and building up those points. Even better, cash those points and invest in the stock market 📈. That’s what I recently did with my $500 bonus. Takes money to make money 👍 Bought a couple of growth stocks. Build that wealth to Infinity! 🚀

Very helpful, thank you. I see that a new credit card will give a temporary negative effect on credit. How long before you see the turn around if you aren't changing your spending habits and are paying them off?
I applied for new credit card. Always pay on time and have other lines of credit. It looks like my score dropped 100 points. Why and is that permanent?
Have someone put you one one of there cards that has a low balance and long credit history and a large limite,,, like over 10000 bucks,,, That way their credit history becomes your history and your scores will reflect that😀😀😀
If you keep your utalization low at all times then there should be little to no change to your score initialy getting a new car (-20 to +20) (low being under %5, mine is %2)
Very informative. I opened a new credit card and my credit score got dinged however I only use a credit card when I have the money available to use and preemptively pay it off after every purchase
@@flynnmorrow6945 i think it i just depends on the usage rate I opened 3 new accounts these past 3 months my credit was like 730 and it dropped to 700 But with the new accounts i have the balances are all less than 30%. So maybe in a few months from now it should get higher

Hi thanks for the information. 1. Is it important to use all the credit cards we have? 2. I already have 4 credit cards should i apply for 5th and would that be a good idea or bad as per my credit score ?

But it reduces utilization which out weighs the other 2. A new card raised my score 40 points.
Agree!
I just opened a new credit card from the same company and it dropped 3 points hopefully before the year ends I see a big positive effect

Great video, very informative as it breaks down the impact of opening a card.

Scam upon scam upon scam.
What about accepting a new credit card from same company, but with a better card like more points using it this way?
Very helpful, thank you.

Open a secure card. Best thing I ever did for my credit. Low risk high reward.

I just opened a second card with a 722 score. It dropped to 712 after I opened it. How long would it take to build it back up?
Won't take long, just keep utilisation below 10% and pay it off straight after making purchases
What's "not long" mean? A month? Three months? Six months?

I just opened 2 accounts a week ago, and my so red decrease from 770 to 700. Is this normal? My ratio usage is 20%.
you wanna keep your usage under 10 percent no matter what. Also you shouldn't add 2 at a time. get one 6 months apart or even better a year apart.
It's been 10 months have you build it back up yet and how long it took you to get it back up I lost 67pts today from having a new account

On a new credit card does it did your score if you request a lower limit then you are given
How long does hard inquiry hit take to clear?
What if you close the new credit card, will that restore ur average credit history to previous levels?

you need them to build credit. So when you want to borrow money for a house or business you dont get screwed with a high interest rate
