As someone who never played the older games (oldest was sticker star for me), i really enjoyed the games, even if the story was linear and the attacks were different, i overall had fun with the games.
I have not beat en it yet. I played when I was younger so I thought the purple pirate island reverse world levels were too hard. But I still love the game
but in ttyd the toads has a unique design and its simple I dont know why the team behind color splash decide to make every single toad with generic design a simple glasses are enough to make professor toad look like a professor

@@السراقالمجهول if you try to 100% the game, you slowly unlock stuff in the Prisma Museum. Over time you will be able to view concpect art which shows a lot of different characters (they're toads) The privates toads, rescue squad toads, ghost toads and much more
@@السراقالمجهول eh not entirely, I'm a little disappointed we didn't get the Cape as a character in game that would possess bowser, or those bats which could've been enemies (even if the game says they're huey ideas). Stop being some dumb arlo fan boy who has never played color splash. Arlos review does not even talk about anything other then him bashing the battle system
While it's great you acknowledged your biases, this review provides nothing of value to anyone who has actually played prior entries. We (PM64, TTYD and SPM fans) knew the dialogue was well written and that it looked nice. But dialogue with no character to attach it to is all but worthless/destined to be forgotten and world class visuals are meaningless if you were looking for something else entirely (Fun Gameplay, good story, originality) or if it's of something you didn't want to see or were indifferent to (Toad, Level presentation). And lastly everything you described in the battle system is all but improved in prior entries and while you don't mind selecting every attack taking 10 seconds most others do. The only thing absent is receiving concept art for collecting.
Ok, Color Splash did admittedly have flaws, but that doesn’t it was a bad game. In fact, both Color Splash AND Oragami King are better than many toxic Paper Mario fans (such as you “PM64, TTYD, SPM fans,” for example) say they. And while the prior entries were great games, even they had flaws too.
@@Sorcerer-SMC It depends on how much you value the flaws/strengths. If you don't mind the generic cast of characters, a slower and still pointless gameplay loop or really enjoy games with funny dialogue and great art styles/presentation then of course colour splash is going to be a good game in your eyes. But that isn't the vast majority of people or Paper Mario fans and what I listed isn't why people loved the first 3 games. And while you mention how the games are better than how I and others say (which while I'm sure is true as people can be... hostile to put it nicely), that doesn't detract from the fact that as sequels they are objective failures for not improving upon the prior entries. (Also I've dealt with my fair share of toxic and entitled SS, CS and TOK fans. It's the internet, people are jerks...) Also I'm well aware that the first 3 games had flaws (there is not a man on earth who'll defend general white's quest in TTYD for example) but as I said that's what sequels are supposed to fix. They're not for abandoning all the good qualities a prior entry had in order to try something different for the sake of different. (That's what spin offs and new IP is for)
I’m sorry but it just isn’t the best Wii U game. No matter your opinion on it, Pikmin 3, Super Mario 3D world, Nintendo Land, Mario Kart 8, and Super Mario Maker are leagues better I feel.

I watched your video on a new season, then this and I gotta say you're now one of my favorite UA-camrs off vibes alone.
I agree with this guy

Coler spash and Super is vastly underrated

He never say that was the best game of all.
I mean they’re different genres so it’s hard to compare them that would be like comparing dark souls to a Park builder
