You are also not wrong with respect to the way the Supreme Court is handling the whole immunity issue.
That doesn't mean that Trump doesn't deserve due process himself.
But "lock him up!" is MAGA talk. Give him his day in court. The evidence is overwhelming. Let a jury act on that evidence. THEN lock him up.

Getting such a detailed review of what happened in summer 2015 has elevated my curiosity over how convenient Comey’s reopening of the Hillary’s thing was. In hindsight it seems exquisitely timed and very organic at all. I’m thinking some considerable investigative effort might be warranted just to set the country’s mind at ease so we can learn that it wasn’t engineered by the stable genius too. Clearly, we have now learned with little room for doubt that it would be on brand.
