Great photos! So many brought me back to my childhood. I remember when the spindly trees with all the tinsel were in style. That changed in the late 1960s, I think, when everyone wanted fir trees. I love the floor lamps in the photos. I have a couple of those old timey lamps myself. How about that lady who looked so joyful to have gotten a vacuum cleaner and iron? lol Those were the days!

Oh the memories of the stream of time...the styles worn, the decor, the furniture, the hairsyles the homes, The precious folks in the photos. All of it was kinda bittersweet to me in a way and brought smiles and tears to me being 62 now. Oh how I wish the kids these days could get to experience that history that has gone by. Thank you Scott for sharing! It was beautifully nostalgic.🥰
Good Lord, so many of those trees were dripping with tinsel! You can also see how they were carefully layered on the branches strand-by-strand instead of the method I would've used -- throw-and-go! LOL!
Ooh the creepy Santas!🤣🎅. I agree with a previous commenter regarding the clothing. Everybody made an effort to dress up. I wonder how many folks do now. I try, but my kids and grandkids just want to be in their sweats all day! 😆❄️🇨🇦🎄
Absolutely beautiful, im in awe , i lovemall lf it, even al, your normal house decor. Floor lamps. Omg, i want it.. im in the UK , im now 68. We have never had anythihere back in the dsy like thid. US does it so good. A,ways have lots and more better rhings rhns we evee did and now. . My oattner sed no cats there as i have four,and U do have a cat ! He ust be a good cat. .love him/her..im in .aww, where do u get the replacement bulbs from. 👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🐾🙏
