I celebrate the 12 days, as well, Scott. My Southern neighbors think I am a "weirdo! Yay!!!
Hey Scott, I’ve always kept my Christmas decorations up for the 12 Days of Christmas 🎄 👍🏻
The green Stangl vase. ♥♥♥
Loved that chair, the desk, and the ice bucket! Wish things like that showed up in my thrift stores.
I luuuuv that chair and the upholstery.
Oohh the green armchair..fab with your black and grey
Love those green creamers
Tree doesn't come down until the Epiphany!!
Love those 1930s glasswares, the black bases really make the look a stand out. May 2024 bring you health, happiness, and prosperity.🖤🇨🇦
Mine are STILL up and will STAY up until I darn well feel like taking them down 🤣
You found so many great things as you always do! If I lived in your area, you would be my nemesis!! 😂😂😂😂. You love/buy everything I love.
beautiful chair, bowl
Thank you you’re videos are terrific
That cream 'meat grinder' was a cheese grater. My Italian father used one on our kitchen table. I WANT it!!!
We always felt pressured to pull our lights off the roof Jan. 1. This year, you have empowered us to wait until after epiphany!
Oh gosh....be still my heart ...THAT CHAIR!!! I would give my last pair of 1960's panty hose to buy that chair!!! Wishing you New Year's blessings Scott..... NOW~ shop on!!
Funny! 😁
I still have a pair! 97cents😂
I want that chair in my 1926 Omaha bungalow!
As soon as you sell those refrigerator dishes, you'll run into the perfect vintage fridge for your kitchen. 😅
I like the lamp that’s on the table next to the green floral chair!
I really enjoyed this video. I appreciate the knowledge you share as well as the "Which is older?" game. It is really helpful ❤️
Lighted Christmas trees are so calming to me.
I love the picture but I also loved the chair . Oh my gosh how beautiful they both are , love love love them lol .
Hope you had a terrific holiday. Very nice video. Thanks for the awesome info.
Yes, keep Christmas decorations up.
I thought for sure you were going to buy that beautiful chair. I leave my decorations up for the 12 days of Christmas 😊
Your intro was the best (unexpected) burst of laughter I’ve had on this 9th day of Christmas! 🥳
You are adorable. ❤ hope u got that chair.
That’s the spirit, merry Christmas
My favorite was the glasses with the black feet. I'm sort of sad that you separated the little family, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Nice to get 4 of each!
Yes I left behind the ones that were chipped.
I Take my Christmas decorations after January 6 😊
Scott love your funny skits at the beginning of your video, I already took my Christmas decor down the other day. We don’t get very much old glass or kitchen wear. Love that big fox print framed picture. Have a blessed rest of your day evening take care will see you on your next video😊
I follow the same Christmas path you do! Twelfth night or candlemas
Today, January 2nd, was the 9th day of Christmas... However, the 9 Ladies Dancing never showed up... They must have been sent to the wrong address... All is not lost because you posted a video instead! Yay! (Scott, I loved your 'cute shabby chic' comment... That was charming and unexpected especially coming from you! Are we influencing you? lol!) You found so many items that I loved; the R.A. Fox print, the footed glassware, the green upholstered chair, the pressed glass pedestal bowl and the lovely creamers... Essentially, I like what you like!
Loved the boudoir lamps and the R.A. Foxx print. Both will be a nice addition to your bungalow!
Love it all. The covered dishes are always my favorite
Only the 9th day. Happy New Year!
I can’t help myself; I like the green Stangl vase, for sentimental reasons. Went thrifting with my cousin in NJ after Xmas and we both bought Stangl pottery. Also went into a Dollar Store and they’d already put out Easter on 12/28. Just not right 😡
The daisy and button might be Gillinder and Sons.
My favorite item of all is the chair!
I LOVE when you do this !!!! 🤣🤣
I so hope you are keeping the casseroles for your kitchen. The stemware with black bases are beautiful and love the little lamp pair. You find such wonderful things!
Christmas is not over until the 3kings day that is this jear on the 6januaryso enjoy your decorations 😊
Love ❤️ that chair
Happy New Year!
Yes, absolutely! 😀
It's still Christmas in our house, too!! ❤️🎄❤️
My favorites were the cream and green casseroles and the beautiful clear glass (compote?).
The button and bows is beautiful. I love clear glass. I always notice when thrifters disparage my clear glass fairy lamp. Lol.
So good to see you, I like the vase and the covered casseroles...❤
You’re right about Christmas Scott. I totally agree, our tree and Nativity set stay up until the 6th of January, the epiphany . 🎄🎅
Hi Scott another awesome day thrifting and awesome haul loved everything you picked up my favorite was the the clear glass candy dish you picked up in the being and the glass with the black bottoms those were stunning always injoy watching take care
Christmas stays up at our house until Epiphany. Lots of good stuff today! I love the buttons & bows footed bowl, the glasses with the black feet, and the pair of boudoir lamps (what a steal at $12 for the pair). A happy and healthy 2024 to you and yours!
The gorgeous compote and that Stangel vase had my heart racing. Happy New Year Scott.
love those cassarole dishes ~
OMG what luck finding that Stangle. Thanks for sharing.
Love that chair and the lovely stangl vase☺️. Hope your new year is blessed with fun and friends. TFS🥰
Your home looks so cozy . As always great find
I have a few R.A. Fox lithographs. My favorite is in my bedroom next to my TV at the foot of my bed. I stare at the beautiful mountains and snow all the time.
I like your style
I'm keeping my tree up till next week. We got our first snow storm coming in Sunday, and yes! I'm cooking a turkey too! 😊♥️😊🎄😊♥️😊
Those lamps😍 I really love them.
It’s always a “Happy New Year” when we have a “Scott Video!” 😉 Great finds today, Scott!!!👍🏻
Gillinder and sons daisy and button 👍 quick story I got one from my mother that belonged to my grandmother . Note my mother was over 70 at the time and I've had the bowl for almost 30 years 😊
And happy new year 🎉
BUY THAT CHAIR! $20!!!
Scott, those Fiesta tankards look to be perfect for both root beer and iced tea. Just sayin'.
I love your enthusiasm for Christmas hon!!
That cream pitcher that is older looks a lot like RSPrussia though it’s not marked. I inherited a set RSP from my great grandma. The cream and green casseroles, my mother had one, probably a wedding gift. Still have it with a cover.
Love old chairs with 8 way hand tied springs
Happy New Year to you too. My favorite was the antique china creamer.
Happy New Year!!!!
Hello Scott, Happy New Year 2024, yes keep the Christmas 🎄 up.
Thanks for sharing
Oh, Scott, I Love Fox prints. I've never been able to afford one, but a friend gave me one she found in her attic. She said it belonged in my house.😊 That oak sideboard might be a washstand. They didn't all have towel racks. The doors at the bottom would open wide enough to store the bowl and pitcher. Finally, thank you from all of us who like our Christmas after the fact. I'm the only one in my neighborhood who still has lights and decorations on display.🎉
My favorite was the clear Daisy compote! Beautiful! I’m a clear glass fan!
Scott, My Christmas Tree and lights are staying up for a while longer. After all, we are expecting a snow storm this weekend in the Northeast. ❤
Love the compote the ice bucket and the creamers and everything else!!
🙋🏻♀️ Confession: I didn’t put Christmas decorations up this year! Hello Scott, darling. Keep the decorations up as long as you want xx
And I took mine down the day after Christmas. I had other things to take care of.
I myself didn’t this year.
@@elderlypoodle9181 happy new year!
@@misslannie73 And to you too! 😁❤️🐩
@@elderlypoodle9181I guess it's going around, I didn't have the heart to pull it all out this yr. 😂 Have a happy, blessed New Year☺️
Luv ya Scott, you always give me a little feeling of home. I was born in Chester PA. Grew up in a little town called Media PA. I spent my summers growing up at the Jersey shore. So when I feel a little homesick your great to watch.😊
Fave is the R. Atkinson Fox print…Christmas decorations: those stay up around here through Ephiphany (Jan. 6th) I then begin to slowly dismantle and pack away Christmas. At times, garlands / wreaths stay up until February 2nd The Presentation of Our Lord (40th day after Christmas Day.)
The antique quarter sawn oak Mission Desk was a nice piece at $50......:)
Wow great haul!!!! I have to live vicariously though you folks in the east coast because I live in Utah and the antiques are far and few.
The Siesta mugs would be nice for Easter
New subscriber here. I was screaming in my head “buy the chair”!
I put my decorations up close to Christmas Eve and don't take them down til Epiphany or the Baptism, sod the commercialism..lol!! You have a wonderful New Year as well!! Love the whole video!
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU SCOTT!!! 😂😂❤❤
You did well on your shopping trip today. I love the clear Daisy and Button compote.
You bought beautiful items!!!!
Yep, 10 Lords are Leaping ! ❄️🇨🇦❄️
The print reminds me of the Philbrook Mansion Gardens in Tulsa, Ok. The mansion has been turned into a museum, but some of the original furniture and interior decor remain. You should visit it if you are ever in the area. It is totally 20s
Great info! 👍
I remember the 'Christmas in July' a while ago. I say keep your tree standing. It's so pretty!!
Thank you for saving so many beautiful things from the dump. Also, for educating us about the history of the pieces.
Thank you for the lovely Christmas display!! It looks good, so good Scott.❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉 Happy New Year!!!
The colorful mugs with the wooden handles were childhood favorites. We only had them in brown glass with a cowboy motif on them I called them cowboy glasses. My siblings and I fought over who got to drink birch beer out of them. Everything else you bought was incredible. Happy New year 🎉❤️
my favorite was that chair you didn't buy...
Happy New Year Scott
I think those Hall baking dishes were sold with the Westinghouse roasting ovens. I bought an oven that had a whole set at a garage sale in the 70's.
I have never taken my Christmas tree down until after little Christmas. I love it so much it will stay until mid to late January. The RA Fox print is amazing!! I do not own one yet. Love it
I love stangel pottery.I have found a lot of it the past couple of months.
Apparently I don't know how to spell stangle the right way.
I just loved the console bowl. Happy new year!
Happy New Year 🎇, amazing things ,love the glasses with the black foot and the lamps Christmas for me ends on the 6th my birthdays on the 7th so I have the rest of the week to take bits and pieces down ,have a wonderful new year and let's see what interesting new things there will be .👏🎉👍😀
I had to laugh because you were bold enough to tell the caller to shove off, wish I could to that to those who annoy me! But Dad always told me to be a lady. I loved the glass compote, the chair, the lamps, too. Enjoy your humor the best. 😂😂 Jersey Ann from NJ
Favorite was the 2 lamps
The first item you showed, the compote, is my favorite from this video. I’ve never seen it before. Happy New Year 🎉
