Whoever designed the Krypt/Shang Tsung's Island did a fantastic job. Really, my only complaint is that I remember the Pit being a lot higher, and they seemed to combine the first 2.

shpilg It wasn’t all to great to me tbh. The brutality is great but the skin is just a recolor of his default revenant one and the gear is meh so it really wasn’t worth the souls. Also, I do have the mk9 mask but I don’t remember how I got it. Might have been a krypt chest. Look at the mask in the gear menu and it should tell you where you’ll get it (although it won’t tell you how nor guarantee that you will sadly).

Clouted Vision can you only do it once a day and I even tried resetting the game and leaving the kyrpt but i only found him once after checking each location several times.
Yeah I had the same shit happen...I got lucky afterwards tho and the next 2 spots I checked after I killed him the first time I guessed right..but then I realized I was just wasting time I already got the scorpion skin and couldn’t care less about the 200 souls lol

Seems like Kotal brings out the best in people. He's a strong leader that past villains can get behind (ermac, reptile and erron black) does what's best for Outworld while at the same time being a good guy with most of Earthrealm.

To let everyone know, there’s a glitch in the Krypt where when you press and hold A ( X for PlayStation) and hold it the entire time... hold A while walking to one of the warrior shrine spikes and it’ll stab the head on it, so you don’t need to grind. Literally can take you 15 minutes instead of 27 hours EDIT you can use it on doors as well to unlock new areas. Not sure if they work on chests tho

Adam Sanchez no need to farm for shinnoks amulet, there’s nothing great behind that wall. Trust me I’ve already made over 5 million and spent it all in the Krypt chests. You’re best bet is to go in the room where all chest are 15k the room with the swinging pillars that you have to run past, loot everything in that room. Reset the boxes and repeat. You’ll get all the good skins and everything.
Adam Sanchez I hate how they challenged and puzzles in the Krypt are pointless because the boxes are still randomizes. So it’s pointless to complete them, especially when you don’t get a achievement or real rare reward from it. The only thing in the Krypt yoU should do is open all Krypt chest, all Shao Kahn chest of gear you actually like for that character, then the heads for all the characters you like. Even whenever you get all heads in the game the rooms that open up are still randomizes so it’s just extra boxes to loot so nothing special or guaranteed in those either. Stay away from that kytinn hive puzzle, it’s pointless. Literally one of my friends got the Liu Kang God skin from that Shao Kahn box next to that puzzle from the door that is opened by the dragon amulet

matt ford I watched the whole video, and I know the locations are random. You don't check randomly though, do you? You start at one location, then if he's not there, you check the next closest location,if he's not there go to the next closest location etc. That's what I mean
The locations are Goros lair , pit bridge , deadly woods , gardens , lower courtyard , another in goros layer palace entrance , courtyard , lower pit and armory.
The explaination was a little bland for me sorry: But here's the jist. You pass both of the axes past the skeleton door in goros dining hall. After these axes there are 3 doors on either side of you. The 3rd cell to the right of you (which should be empty) Can be opened with a skeleton key. In that cell put on the blindfold which will reviel a breakable wall. Probably doesnt help but hey??
This is Shang Tsung island... However... The Deadwoods SHOULDN'T be here. In Kitana's and Smoke's chapters it is confirmed that the Dead Woods are near the palace, which is not on Shang Tsung's Island.
I have a question: when you kill Reptile after finding him in one of the locations, do you need to go away from the Krypt and get back to the main menu or you can keep looking for him? I don’t know, I mean, I just killed him in Goro’s Lair entrance, near the elevator, but I can’t find him in any of the other locations. Does he respawn where you’ve already smashed him?
Potentially yes but I did encounter a cool down so there might be something in there to prevent too many Souls per hour. Maybe 1000 an hour is about right.
I think theres an extra reptile spot in the bit after you open the one beings door, i put my blindfold on and got killed by something in not even a second so im pretty sure it was Reptile? Also, i just got a sub zero skin for killing him the first time, not a scorpion one. Is that normal lol?
My first spawn location was the lower pit. he didn't appear in any other locations as I went through he respawned back in the lower pit has this been changed ?
@@Tenderleaf But didn't Zaterra get destroyed during the war of the Gods? They then moved to Earth and that's why in Reptile's tower ending in MKX he discovers them underground on Earth.

It's very likely that you will need DLC to complete the Krypt considering DLC characters will probably have their own heart chests.

The trick does not work on heart chests and does as well not work for soul fragment spikes as far as I know and tested.
Works on "locked" things that do not require currency (koins, souls, hearts).
They need a 2v2 against other players and this game will be perfect

Adam Sanchez no need to farm for shinnoks amulet, there’s nothing great behind that wall. Trust me I’ve already made over 5 million and spent it all in the Krypt chests. You’re best bet is to go in the room where all chest are 15k the room with the swinging pillars that you have to run past, loot everything in that room. Reset the boxes and repeat. You’ll get all the good skins and everything.

Adam Sanchez I hate how they challenged and puzzles in the Krypt are pointless because the boxes are still randomizes. So it’s pointless to complete them, especially when you don’t get a achievement or real rare reward from it. The only thing in the Krypt yoU should do is open all Krypt chest, all Shao Kahn chest of gear you actually like for that character, then the heads for all the characters you like. Even whenever you get all heads in the game the rooms that open up are still randomizes so it’s just extra boxes to loot so nothing special or guaranteed in those either. Stay away from that kytinn hive puzzle, it’s pointless. Literally one of my friends got the Liu Kang God skin from that Shao Kahn box next to that puzzle from the door that is opened by the dragon amulet

The "secrets" are most likely just the scorpuon skin and soul fragments you get.

I didn't see reptile in the first one for some reason. All I found was two blood monsters that tried to kill me while putting on the blindfold.

AWiseMelon Did you not watch the whole video because it the locations are randomly set so there's really no point of putting the clips in order when the player would get there because there is zero guarantee he would be there when the player would get there.
matt ford I watched the whole video, and I know the locations are random. You don't check randomly though, do you? You start at one location, then if he's not there, you check the next closest location,if he's not there go to the next closest location etc. That's what I mean

The locations are Goros lair , pit bridge , deadly woods , gardens , lower courtyard , another in goros layer palace entrance , courtyard , lower pit and armory.
The explaination was a little bland for me sorry:
But here's the jist.
You pass both of the axes past the skeleton door in goros dining hall.
After these axes there are 3 doors on either side of you.
The 3rd cell to the right of you (which should be empty)
Can be opened with a skeleton key.
In that cell put on the blindfold which will reviel a breakable wall.
Probably doesnt help but hey??
What happens if it was different like reptile is in a different location but not the ones that you are showing?

This is Shang Tsung island... However... The Deadwoods SHOULDN'T be here. In Kitana's and Smoke's chapters it is confirmed that the Dead Woods are near the palace, which is not on Shang Tsung's Island.
Would probably be a lot easier to find reptile without the crippling fear of being jumpscared every time i put on the blindfold

I have a question: when you kill Reptile after finding him in one of the locations, do you need to go away from the Krypt and get back to the main menu or you can keep looking for him? I don’t know, I mean, I just killed him in Goro’s Lair entrance, near the elevator, but I can’t find him in any of the other locations. Does he respawn where you’ve already smashed him?
Does he give 200 souls every time? Can I farm 10k with him?
Potentially yes but I did encounter a cool down so there might be something in there to prevent too many Souls per hour. Maybe 1000 an hour is about right.

I think theres an extra reptile spot in the bit after you open the one beings door, i put my blindfold on and got killed by something in not even a second so im pretty sure it was Reptile?

My first spawn location was the lower pit. he didn't appear in any other locations as I went through he respawned back in the lower pit has this been changed ?

Nathan Doretto when you put the blindfold on there is a chance that a demon will jumpscare you and kill you however if you swing the hammer right after you put the blindfold on it will kill the demon and you will get some koins/souls
