Sliding a 3/32 or 1/8 nail weight in under the chin will help with these, if you need more weight to get it deeper you can put another nail weight up behind the belly fins. Folks saying the 5" doesn't work are probably throwing it on heavy gear and line, step it down and work it with subtle twitches and it works fine. These get crushed so the internal harness will get bent up and the eyes fall off really quick but it's fairly easy to bend it back to where it's straight enough.
How do you feel about them stealing this design from GrowDesignWorks in Japan? Berkley did modify the design and add scent but the original swims far better.
Unfortunately, the fishing industry is cut throat when it comes to this kind of thing and most inventors don't have the money or time to get a patent. In this case, there are significant differences between the baits. Much more direct copies have taken place to a number of Reaction Innovation lures and the Yamamoto Senko. Huge difference in price as well.

Yes, I had and eye fall out already and just replaced it with a decal eye. Thanks for sharing this information!

No different than any other bait these big companies steal from other companies with very small differences

Seriously. I am not willing to pay $100 for lures. Who gives a F&*$ about Japan.
