We’re a few days removed from K-Dot’s legendary performance at the Kia forum in Los Angeles, and what a moment it was. We saw performances from a number of west coast artists both new and old. The show essentially served as a victory lap for the West Coast and for Kendrick himself as he comes off his win in a battle for the ages against arguably the biggest artist in the world Aubrey Drake Graham.
The two have been at the forefront of the music game for the past decade creating chart topping records along with classic projects. Now of course there’s been a long time never ending debate on who the goat of this generation really is, and the 3 primary candidates always came down to J. Cole, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar. All 3 had a legitimate case for the crown and fan bases would argue endlessly on forums, blog sites, and comment sections debating on who the greatest MC really is.
But after all these years the unthinkable happened and we actually got to see them duke it out in a full 12 round slug fest where we have an official champion. Now does this mean that Kendrick is the true certified goat? Well in the sprit of competition then I guess you can say yes. But if you’re a person who values consistency and numbers then you may still go the other way and say Drake. But in the court of public opinion it appears that Kendrick may have very well taken the crown for himself.
    Thanks for watching!

I think it was the "Right now I feel like Muhammad Ali" line from J Cole that bothered Kendrick and made him respond on Like That.

Respectfully, Meet the grams and not like us was not better then Family matters. Dropping a song faster or having the most radio spins dont mean the actual record is better. Nobody is rating bars, song quality or facts. Years from now we will visit this beef and there will be mixed reviews.

@@dfxstudios not really when a lot his past albums have been not up to par & a lot of it has little to no depth Cole has quality albums that have much more depth & power behind it not just talking about black issues but also talking about his human emotions that I’ve only heard few rappers do at his level. Only Kendrick has that same level & he wrote those bodies of work on his own.
