@@mugo4581 Its an RPG. Initially only released in Japan in 1995, it later came to North America on the Game Boy Advance. I like pointing out influences on video game music, yes! Koji Kondo was influenced by this, but so was Shinji Tamura. Listen to Symphony for a spider plant (on this album), then listen to Lake on Ymir (from Tales of Phantasia), you can hear it.
This album reminds me of Journey Through the Secret Life of Plants by stevie wonder. It has a similar vibe and is made with a synthesizer but is way more jazz-focused and complicated
I discovered that one from a youtube short about plant related albums. I've been listening to it at least once a day. Neighborhood walks are more serene with Journey Through Secret Life of Plants. Favorite piece from the album would be Tree. I mean I've never heard lightning sounds implemented in a song before and birds are chirping too. Its a trip.

Recent research has shown that plants communicate to each other through mycorrhizal networks with fungi. Trees seem to be able to share nutrients with other trees and may even show favoritism towards certain ones using these connections!
