Gloria....Oswalds youngest brother was a very dear freand of mine. when Os would come visit we would have a big jam. went to one of his birthday parties with his baby sister and her son...met Mac..and my hero Earl Scruggs and countless Opry stars...something I'll never forget 1

I think he just couldn't hear what he was singing due to the other instruments and the fact that his hearing wasn't what it once was.
If they would play Grandpa Jones on the radio instead if constantly fussing about politics, Americans would be happier.
