Open source coming to the rescue again. I hope this helps in the wide adoption of GameCube controllers that people are actually satisfied with without having to pay an arm and a leg!
Hey frost, I know one thing that is useful is Tiered shield buttons. Such that you can replace a contiguous range of shield values with a single value, allowing you to effectively target a specific medium analog value reliably. As long as it doesn't allow for analog values lighter than Z-shield it would be pretty fantastic tbh, and most players I've talked to have liked the idea.
idk what fix i need but i feel like my l and r buttons hold themselves down so aggressively if i cause shearing friction along the casing/weak-springs?
We as a community should consider whether we're all OK with replacing analog inputs with digital at all. Like perfect wavedash angles with 1 button press. B0XX does this and it's still questionable.
Looks amazing. With it being open source, multiple people might attempt to sell these. With competition the price might be more manageable for consumers. Especially when the only option apart from standard GCC for people who don’t want to play on boxes is the goomwave which is a minimum of 200 all the way up to 420 dollars due to the board being unobtainable without buying a fully modded controller.
would this pcb be compatible for mods that already exist for controllers such as the no reset snapback pcp by handheld legend or the ring led for the analog stick and c-stick?
TheFrostWarrior is a very skilled player but that is not normally, This very very insane....They need to check him pc and game.....Maybe he not cheating but maybe he using the game deficit ...and this cant seem on game screen..He needs to check-up
But... magents loose their magnitism over time, and even more so the more they get shook or dropped. So does is really prevent this degregation youre talking about?
Open sourcing this is such a refreshing decision to see
Excellent video, very informative! Thank you for your contribution to Melee history!
aint stawpin
An actual insane development for GameCube controllers. Take my money now!
This could be huge! Thanks for sharing this!

This is huge! Amazing work!
revolutionary, some may say. Inspirational, if you will
Remapping B button to a different spot would be a nice addition. Very happy to see hall-effect though.
Working like charm !!!! thanks for sharing and keep up !!!
You are doing gods work thank you for helping smash players all around
Super interesting project I'll keep close tabs
I was sold the moment you said open source
A follow up showing off what to focus on for good pivots/pc ledge grabs would be cool.
this seems so much more nintendo friendly than software modding the game
What a goat :)
Damn great work
panda controller but reborn open source ... we love to see it
Not quite. This is just a motherboard, so it lacks a lot of the features that the Panda Controller was supposed to have.
this sounds fucking awesome
Awesome !
amazing!
WTF FROST UR INSANE
Wow hope this can help with overrotated stickboxs. Need that 1.0 cardinal
So how do I get one. Without spending $100+ USD?

My guy sounded like Shank for a bit at the start lol
Hey, just wondering if the controller had any interest and was configurable for an Ult player ?
so youre saying this is not a product, but i dont wanna do it myself lol. i would buy one though
Someone will end up selling these for sure.
How would go about building a controller using this? I saving money for the PG controller before it got shelved
nice
Great! Now we need to legalize Hax’s 1.03 ASAP, so that the average player isn’t locked out of being able to play at the new standard
Pog
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than goomwave

Depends on the type of magnet. Neodymium magnets lose less than 1% of strength over 10 years. permanent magnets also exist.
Yo is that frost
Why is no one talking about this LOL
Open source!!
should have made it a product instead :P
What
Purchased one and awaiting it, any way to implement the easier pivots and uptilts the goomwave has?
