I gotta say Chris, I've been watching you for a long time and never seen someone so much on the same page as your uncle John, you guys don't even have to speak and still know what needs to be done next, you work awesome together even without speaking or direction, , thought I should mention it and give credit where its due.
Dunno if you follow C&C Equipment on here, but they've been repairing a dozer where the operator was pulling logs at a 90 degree angle to the winch and ended up destroying the winch, causing 10s of thousands of dollars worth of damage. There was so much torque/pressure that it practically ripped the winch housing off the back of the dozer and made the drive shaft look like corkscrew pasta. Also messed up other stuff. It's a mess and was all because of operator error.
Hey letsdig18, from a fellow dirt contractor its nice to see another contractor always giving their customers top notch work. I've been doing this since 1991 and not many make their jobs look like yours (and mine). Excellent work my friend your attention to detail is fabulous. For those who are not familiar with dirt work, not every customer wants this high quality work, so they choose the lowest bidder.............. we love those customers too, because we get to make more money fixing those errors at a later date.
Very tidy work indeed Chris/John, Great to watch the complete project from start to Finnish ! And you were grinning from ear to ear when you said about the clanging bucket and Dirt Perfect 🤣😂🤣 Respect from Scotland.
Chris it saddens me to you ,that you lost a viewer this week. My dad turned 90 on June 10th he passed on the 14th. When I would visit him I pull up your latest videos. He was inspired by your many talents. He said he would really love to run that cable machine again. He was like you with equipment he just thought it done.
Chris, that is an awesome job you done on that spillway. Hope the compliments don’t make your head swell too much but every video I watch that you share are done so damn good. Clean and tidy. I love how you role brother
A spillway fit for hoover dam job looks amazing well done great video,s , thanks for sharing them to us cold guys in Australia, i got the fire on and you all running around in shorts damm
Enjoyed this series!! Always good to see the spillway get it’s rock!! Makes it look finished the way you lock it in. Agree, time to change out the pin on the bucket!
Chris, I love the respect and confidence John has in you. He walks around in the area you are working with the machine seemingly oblivious. He has complete confidence in your ability! Nice job. your client should be pleased.
I would love to see this overflow in action, I can't imagine the volume with those four pipes. Do you think you could ever bring us back when there is a HEAVY DOWN POUR?
Gotta come back in the future and see the four pipes doing their jobs in the rain ! Great work by both of you and great video. Cheers from Sydney Australia !
@25:25 That's the funniest thing you've said in a while, made me chuckle, I just said a couple minutes ago the bucket was sounding like the 120's, but we know it's a budgetary item, when you can you will get it fixed.
For two jobs in a row you feature your uncle in your video, great to see y’all working together. I know you have said in some of your Dirt Perfect interviews that y’all work in tandem on jobs and now we see that in these last couple jobs. Nice to see.
You gotta love the end result of a proper riprap channel. Call me crazy, but it really looks beautiful. I'm sure the owner is very pleased with the job.
I've been watching you for a long time Chris and I'm sure you have more control of your machine than I have over my hands. Thanks, I enjoy seeingthe projects and the work
I've learned to be skeptical of my own reservations when I look at some of your engineering plans. That 30" 4 culvert system so close to the surface looks very wash-out-able. But, in the end, your jobs seem to always seem to turn out flawless and work perfectly!
chris has been hanging around DP and DieselCreek too much, their quirks are rubbing off on Chris. when Chris ends up sticker bombed , you know he's been around DP too long ;p
On a scale of 1-10 on the sweet looking finished jobs I think that would rate a 10. It is just really nice and finished with quality, I love a nice manicured look at the end of a project I would be proud of it if it were mine. Your client has to be pleased, thanks for the ride along.
Loved this video, thankful to get to watch all!!! Big project with many different facets. Looks amazing and impressive! Thank u so much for video, so interesting to watch and follow. God's blessings and take care of yourself!!!
Nice job Chris and John. It looks really nice. It would be cool to see the overflow pipes in action. Now the phone guys can come in and screw up the road with their repair.
Hi from uk chris👋👍 great job getting this finished and you guys really did a fantastic job 👌 I think if these four ever reached capacity then it would be awesome thing to see 👍 lets just hope it never comes to.more than a trickle in each tho👌 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon 👍👋

"Sound's like DP" love it... I would love to see this project working during a heavy storm.
think a lot of us would like that
As do I.
I gotta say Chris, I've been watching you for a long time and never seen someone so much on the same page as your uncle John, you guys don't even have to speak and still know what needs to be done next, you work awesome together even without speaking or direction, , thought I should mention it and give credit where its due.
Totally agree. I wish @letsdig18 would interview his uncle on a video.
1: Years of experience together
2: magic of editing....
I'm a mechanic... I just love that gentle touch... operators destroy machines.
Good stuff..I like watching your videos
operators destroy machines because they dont own them. when you spend $100k plus you tend to take care of your machines
Operators who don't foot the repair bill I'm guessing..
Dunno if you follow C&C Equipment on here, but they've been repairing a dozer where the operator was pulling logs at a 90 degree angle to the winch and ended up destroying the winch, causing 10s of thousands of dollars worth of damage. @@george8873 Who's looking for a new job, propably. Hopefully ?
Theres Operators and then theres Wreckmasters

It's almost like a guy's making art with heavy equipment, damn does that end result look good!
“Sounds like Dirt Perfect over here, heh, heh, heh, heh” That cracked me up bud!
A thing of beauty. You should have been a heart surgeon the way you use that bucket.
Thanks for letting us watch. Kudos to you and John. Great team.
Chris the finished job is beautiful, you and John work together like a well oiled machine! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Hard work
For a few seconds there during the time-lapse, I'm sure i saw Chris with a shovel in his hand. He must have borrowed it from someone.
Must be a a long lost twin or an imposter.
Blink twice if your under duress!
Someone must of paint Volvo on the side of the shovel 😉
He he's the biggest one in his hands all day long.
That was a stand in!
Was he leaning on it.?
Clinging and clanging……lol and DID DP catch that….lol…Chris just lite the match….lol..Best two Excavating Guys in NC and IN…..lol nice job Chris
Nice Job Chris and John! Rock On!....I laughed so loud that I startled my wife when you were talking about the clankin' bucket and dirt perfect. :)

Ha!! “ All that clinging n clanging….” - and that’s how the feud started..😂
Job looks so nice it needs some purty wild flowers growing.
You and John do a great job of working together
Cracked me up when you mentioned Dirt Perfect and noisy buckets, lol. Anyway, the job turned out great.
Chris it saddens me to you ,that you lost a viewer this week. My dad turned 90 on June 10th he passed on the 14th. When I would visit him I pull up your latest videos. Thomas, I'm sorry for your loss. It's a tough time I know.
Sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss Thomas
Sorry for your loss Thomas
This job was a work of art. Skill and knowledge go a long way.
That compactor wheel always reminds me of a garden tiller my dad used to have for some reason lol
I spit my coffee all over my phone when you made the comment “I sound like DP over here” 🤣🤣 You’re not lying!! Love the videos!!
Chris, that is an awesome job you done on that spillway. Hope the compliments don’t make your head swell too much but every video I watch that you share are done so damn good. Clean and tidy. I love how you role brother
Excellent job as usual Chris! Shots fired with the DP comment! 😂😂😂
Great to watch the precision work being done by Chris. Envious of your talent and line-up of great equipment.
That is a sweet looking repair. Great work.
You have a talent for making your work look really good.
I love how you have an eye to detail!!!! I know that who ever you work for is very pleased 😀😀❤️👌
A spillway fit for hoover dam job looks amazing well done great video,s , thanks for sharing them to us cold guys in Australia, i got the fire on and you all running around in shorts damm
I will be glad when the bucket is fixed also. I don’t think you hear thunder it’s the bucket rattling and clanging
Looks good 👍🏻
if that overflow ever runs at capacity I hope the landowner sends you a video of it. Should be awesome. nice job.
Have a nice weekend maestro! A true master on the sticks!!
Enjoyed this series!! Always good to see the spillway get it’s rock!! Makes it look finished the way you lock it in. Agree, time to change out the pin on the bucket!
Chris, the spillway looks awesome👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for sharing this project😺🤗🐺
Chris, I love the respect and confidence John has in you. He walks around in the area you are working with the machine seemingly oblivious. He has complete confidence in your ability! Nice job. your client should be pleased.

Excellent job Chris and John. Attention to detail, second to none.
it would be co puh setic to see these over flows working. what a rush.....
Chris, you & John have done an excellent job. Loved the DP friendly jib🤣 Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰
Looks very solid.👍
Not only are you a master at your craft but you show up! Customers must be thrilled.
You know you have to revisit this when it is flowing. I would like to see how much water is going through them
If any water gets AROUND those pipes...and not THROUGH them...I'll eat my hat! 😁
Beautiful work Chris and John! 👏
Hahaha, "Bucket clanging sounds like Dirt Perfect out here." NIce work Chris & Jon
Chris it looks like you and John work so good together. It looks like you guys knows what the other one is thinking. 👍
Now I want to see this spillway in action
Chris handles that bucket as skillfully as a surgeon's scalpel.
I would love to see this overflow in action, I can't imagine the volume with those four pipes.
Do you think you could ever bring us back when there is a HEAVY DOWN POUR?
That would be Sweet
Was about the comment the same. I'd love to see the flow that causes the need for these four pipes.
A rainy day follow up like Shawn from Gates city foundation. That would be something to see.
A credit to you and John. Good team work. Like the info about Dirt Prefect! It was you who help me find is channel. Thank you.
You make it look easy when it's anything but! Nicely done and yeah if all 4 discharge fully, what a sight that would be!
So organized. Beautiful work!👍👍👏🏻👏🏻
Nice work Chris. Residents are going to enjoy the view when the pond overflows.
That looks awesome. Thank you for taking us along. Have a great day.
Love the videos, and for some reason, I love the sound of that riprap pouring out of the bucket!
Words don't convey the attention to detail and the subsequent quality of the results! Well done!
Just before you said it I was thinking the same thing about dirt perfect’s bucket! 😂😂😂 another great job completed.
You and John work well together! Kids are gonna love those tunnels!
Yes impressive job Cris. My OCD was playing up when you were laying that stone along the edges LOL Thanks for sharing , stay safe.
Excellent job! You pay attention to the details. Very fun to watch.
Wow what a Hugh difference! Looks fantastic Chris, you and John do an awesome job. Doesn't look like the same place
Gotta come back in the future and see the four pipes doing their jobs in the rain ! Great work by both of you and great video. Cheers from Sydney Australia !
I can’t be the only one that loves the way the riprap sounds when your laying it out and it’s knocking around into itself
Impressive job, congrats to you and John!
@25:25 That's the funniest thing you've said in a while, made me chuckle, I just said a couple minutes ago the bucket was sounding like the 120's, but we know it's a budgetary item, when you can you will get it fixed.

Yea this is a job of John's company. Other jobs are Chris on his own company.
Great video Chris if that job is close to home it would be great to see it working in a flood condition 👍 😀
I’m not surprised you’re so busy. You do good work.
Another interesting project with a nice looking finish!
You two guys work very well together. As always, nice work!!
You gotta love the end result of a proper riprap channel. Call me crazy, but it really looks beautiful. I'm sure the owner is very pleased with the job.
That turned out really good. Nice job! They'll be happy. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
Great and excellent job, there's none that does it better. 💯💯💯

Team work creates the dream work - lovely tidy job as always ;)
Very nice product at end! I hope you can film it a day under heavy rain! Greatings from Belgium
Another awesome job Chris.
I can't believe how fast you do these jobs to perfection..
I've learned to be skeptical of my own reservations when I look at some of your engineering plans. That 30" 4 culvert system so close to the surface looks very wash-out-able. But, in the end, your jobs seem to always seem to turn out flawless and work perfectly!
I learn something new from you all the time! Would love to see you make a pond that has a beach area.
A very good looking job Chris,👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That was a low blow to Dirt Perfect, but he would expect nothing less!
chris has been hanging around DP and DieselCreek too much, their quirks are rubbing off on Chris. when Chris ends up sticker bombed , you know he's been around DP too long ;p
Love this job you ave done Chris and John .
That is a great looking job, well done !!!
🤗👍💖💫
Very nice looking now all we need is some rain to see how it works and to have a good fire or three
On a scale of 1-10 on the sweet looking finished jobs I think that would rate a 10. It is just really nice and finished with quality, I love a nice manicured look at the end of a project I would be proud of it if it were mine. Your client has to be pleased, thanks for the ride along.
Wow what a difference a rock covered channel can make by turning it into a piece of art.
Nice work ! Need to return to this site when the spillway is in action. Be neat to see.
Great job, as always, Chris.
Impressive as usual. Thanks for the Dirt Perfect chuckles that was funny.
Now get that bucket fixed. Have a great weekend.
It's a wonder that they didn't lay a pipe ducting for cables ,the phone guys will probably moan that they can go deep enough because of the pipes ,
@@thatdave86 The lines were only 6" deep before.
Amazing how the riprap makes the finished job just look that much better.
Another Quality Job and both you and John got a Lot Accomplished in 3 1/2 days. I bet it Performs well for the Customer. 👍
LOL giving DP hard time👍Fantastic Job Guys. Take care Brothers

Looks great - lots of different elements to this project - should last for many years. Dirt Perfect bucket rattle - funny comparison.
I'd say very impressive if all pipes are running. Great looking project.
