They have worked together since Chris could barely see out of a piece of equiptment. I think John and his grandfather taught him so they are familiar wi y h each other on a deep level.
I think Chris taught John….. just sayin. Plus they been working together for years. After a while you learn how each person operates and can predict there next move or what is needed. Without a word spoken or eye contact.
Really nice to see a new series of Chris and his Uncle John on a pond job. I swear Vegas could run book on how many episodes it'll take to get it done and get more action than a major boxing fight. That's how popular they've become on Social media. Thanks Chris and Uncle John.
We love that = Another Day - another Golf Course - ha ! Taking out the Stumps and cut off Trees and starting to expose the Drain Pipe ! Great Project and many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
Chris I loved watching you and John double team this job together. Looking forward for the videos in the working and completing of this job. The two of you do great work for the people and community that you work in. Your customers should be glad that the two of you work in them local that when they hire your companies that they are getting a great company to work with. May the two of you continue to prosper in the coming new year.
Those Yanmars are pretty impressive little machines, just perfect for the situation you were in as far as I could tell, couple things I am not quite understanding on your process but I will wait, I am betting they will be explained away in the next vid. Thanks for the ride along sir.
Sounds like you got Christmas crud. It looks like two dinosaurs building a nest. I like your videos because there's not a bunch of chatter and grinning faces. It makes me feel like I'm in the operator's seat. The gentle hum of the machine, the bump and thump of the work being done by the bucket. It's focused and good dig therapy.
I've yet to hear the sound of a sick pond lol,but hearing Chris sick ,that's well documented from past videos ,the doctor UA-cam watchers keep advising him to take care
Wish you had the Volvo on those stumps. Mini's had to work so very hard on that hard packed dam. Did y'all do the original? Good job. Don't get sick Chris. Must have been the rainy cold fire days.
Chris, no doubt a semi-emergency repair., what is your analysis, as to the cause of the undermining. I know you and “Mike” (Dirt Perfect) always talk about the proper soil (clay) make-up for the dam, culvert pipe(s) bedding to have., compaction., was it one part or a combination of them., that led to the failure… Great team work by you and John, Thank you sir.
Can you list in your descriptions (on all of your videos) the associated links with a project? So many times you may have 2-3 different videos on a project, and I am only able to watch (and LIKE) one of them because I am not willing to go searching for the other videos. It is the way you are setting these up, I believe. A little disappointing. It is like getting 1/2 way through a book to find out the last few pages are missing.
Sorta reminded me of 10 acre pond and how that started at first, but this one soon changed gear and got in the fast lane to hell. Seems like the problem with a cart track might be that no one ever takes a walk along there anymore and so never really noticed neglect on a truly biblical scale.🙄 Clearly that did not happen over night. 🤨 Way too exciting this one.🤔 I'm a bit shocked 😱, and you've shown us some stuff down the years.😉 Nice save you two.👍 Be well😉
Dang, feel better Chris. Its fun watching you and big John work together. Hell, you have been doing it so long that you know what the other is doing without looking.
I love watching you and Mr. John work together. Yall are a amzing team and know what the other one is doing and thinking on the job. Hats of to both of you guys.
First time in years I have seen stumps not playing nice w/ you guy's, assuming John is in the second mini, you guys work like a well oiled machine together, no guessing on who's doing what, awesome job once again!👊💪
One of your best episodes Chris! The two excavators working together on the stump reminded me of a pair of lions tearing up a water buffalo 🫣. Hey! Take care of yourself! That cold isn't sounding any better 😨
I thought I was over mine but it had other Ideas. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Gone on the 26. Back again on 1/4/2023. Temp is 1° lower than on Christmas Eve at 101°.🤕
This is probably a dumb question…. Would it be possible to provide an inside the cab overhead camera showing how you’re using the joystick controls? Possibly use 25% or less of the available screen to show the overhead camera angle while synced with the excavation work cameras? Thanks, Carey
Those mini excavators sure are impressive with the power they have against that big stump you and uncle John got out was in the ground good but it lost the fight and gave up
Sorry, read your question again and got a different feel for it . . you meant "when Chris is not working with John is John on his own?" I have a feeling he works alone those days but I may be way out in left field on that. 🙂
Chris you sound like you have a cold chicken soup and vitamin C grandma’s recipe her other recipe is whiskey and honey just saying grandma might’ve had a few secrets😮😂😊😂😂👍🤷♂️
Awesome work as always, them stumps were a buger to get out, but y'all got er done, gonna be a nice transformation on that overflow, thanks for sharing Chris 💪🇺🇲✊👌
I play here many times a week for a couple of years now. I often play the hole and think how Chris would fix this pond.
Now I know.
Thank goodness something decent to
watch on UA-cam
Great teamwork! It’s as if you guys can read each other’s minds!
I wonder if they use a communication radio.
@@davemi00 - they don’t, of haven’t so far. Chris has done so when he has a crew, tried anyways 😂😂. Radio troubles.

Great teamwork on getting that stump out. Thanks Chris and John.
Both the Minnie's were working hard but you both got the job opened up and ready for the repair great video thanks Chris
love seeing the little guys still get the job done.
We love that = Another Day - another Golf Course - ha ! Taking out the Stumps and cut off Trees and starting to expose the Drain Pipe ! Great Project and many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
It’s always amazing to see what these machines are capable of at the hands of a highly skilled operator!
Sound like a bad cold there.
I like how they work together. It really shows you the power of team work.
Sounds like Chris is starting the New year with a cold

Excellent coordination between both operators. You work as one machine!!
Good to see the old open rops mini is still in the fleet and being put to work.
Whoever built that cart path, did a good job packing it in there.
And used some decent material. That clay will pack hard and prevent water from getting thru.
Well, that's the dam, right? It would be packed pretty hard.
Whoever built the dam was responsible for that compaction :)
Rinsing the root ball to get the dirt off was masterful!
Great team work getting those trees and stumps removed

Sure made for great viewing guys and thanks for taking us along bro. Safe travels
It was fun see you two tag teaming those logs and stumps.
Hopefully they used a wood chipper to process them and not waste them. Think of all the mulch they could sell😎😜
Great job guys you and john work together so well cant wait for the next video 👍👍😎
It’s great to watch you and Uncle work together. True team work
You do a great job! Thank you for the great video.
👍👍👍
Hope you feel better soon, Chris. Wife got covid on the 26th and still trying to get over it. Stuff is really going around great videos as always
You should listen to the new Bret Weinstein podcast on Rogan.
Sounding a bit croaky there Chris... get well soon = )
Well apparently the good word has gotten around the different golf courses . Of who to call when they need good work done
Chris. You sound sicker than the pond. Just saying, with love and concern.
Definitely bad sinus drainage !!
He sounded like this in last video but not this bad he needs to give himself a well earned rest
@@glynngrauer3962 he needs to, But he’s not going to!!! All he knows is how to work. Sick or not.

The bank seems very well compacted. Is it one you done?
It's three days you've had your cold. Hopefully, it will clear up soon.
Nice job with the
Mini’s.
Those minis easy on course and path, buckets smooth tilt and toothed great combo.
...LOOKIN' GOOD, KEEP SAFE IN '23...
Love watching these jobs too Chris!
Excellent team work.
Sounds like you are going through Puberty again, dang colds.. Hope you feel better..
When something was difficult, my grandma would say "it's like pulling teeth" I guess she never pulled stumps...
Fascinating video today Chris.
You sound horrible Chris. I hope you rest a bit and feel better soon. Thoughts and prayers my friend🙏🙏
Great teamwork Chris
You two make an "AWESOME" Team..
"Dammit Chris!! I just moved the dirt outta the hole and you dump more in!!"
Loving it !! Nice and tidy!! Cheers!;-)!
I do hope that YOU get to keep this GREAT paying/work account when your uncle finally retires.... In & out paying projects. 🙂
Great job buddy and great video as always buddy hope you feel better soon 😎👊🏻👍🏻
Awesome video. You should see if case would let You demo the new minotaur dl550 on one of your job sites
Starting to think that John must play a lot of golf, wearing Let's Dig 18 shirt.
During the summer months golf courses depend on having their irrigation systems working in good order.
24:12, my brain is yelling "It's not there!" "This hole has no bottom!"
Teamwork makes the dream work....
Wish you had the Volvo on those stumps. Mini's had to work so very hard on that hard packed dam. Did y'all do the original? Good job. Don't get sick Chris. Must have been the rainy cold fire days.
right.chris built that 50 yrs ago🙄
@@richardschipper5989 Chris is working for his Uncle John's company on this job. I was speaking about the company.
Two minis and a huge stump, guess who won 👍👍👍👍
How old is this golf course? Looks like they have had pipes replaced in the past!
good pond video
Too bad that overflow had to fail. That clay was packed in there .
The top of that dam was WELL COMPACTED ! Not so much down below.
Nice job
Get well quick
Flippin’ mess. Nice clean up,
It's like watching two carnivores picking at lunch
nothing like two machines working as one i was not sure that you had the small type excavators but you do
Chris you sound like you're sick hope you get better soon
Putting stress on the machine using the wrong bucket
Stereo excavators. That beats the other channels hands down.....

Great team work by you and John,
Thank you sir.
Pipe was 50 years old and the bottom rusted out
Seems like after a while every bottom rusts out.
@@letsdig18 I bet you could "Sniff" out the problem, even while being under the weather. There is no better "groundhog" period.
@@letsdig18 ok, yep I did not think of that.., thank you sir.
Now that is a root system
That clay seemed super compacted, moral of the story don't let trees grow on the outlet side of the Dam drain
trees had nothing to do with the pipe corroding out
Chris you need to star taking elderberry daily!!!!!
This is one time Uncle John should have quoted a 220 instead of 2 mini's it would have made those stumps a whole lot easier.
At 16:30 it looked like you were washing your socks.
Take care if that cold young man.
15:30 when she tries to make me go for round two
You sounded a bit under the weather hope you get better soon but awesome videos tho
and here we find two diggus yanmer sharing a meal together on the waters edge
How much does something like this cost?
are those two yellow mini's yours or are they your uncle's
Most likely his uncle's.
They are John's.
Man that stump might have gotten left in the bottom of the channel
👍🏻👍🏻
Chris I hear on Todd's channel digginlife21 has put a challenge out u can't knock that one back let's see who wins
