149th Spring Nationals - Revolver Company Match

A view of me capping my Whitney Navy revolver and competing in our Company Revolver Match at the 149th Spring Nationals. Don't mind the morning banter and odd humor occurring.
Take a look at that sharpshooter badge! The red and black patch on my left chest is a replica of an original CS sharpshooter badge. Our unit is the only CS unit in the N-SSA that wears them and are an often overlooked part of CS history. We also wear one on our left coat sleeve.
Notice a little trick I do, I use a short piece of a dowel rod to seat my caps. It helps to save on my thumbs and ensuring I have the caps seated consistently. The dowel rod is slightly tapered to be able to fit in the tight cylinder area.
