Hey Justin! Let me first say congrats on the new shop. But what I really want to say is that it's good to see a person in your position say that you took into consideration what the guys wanted. WOW I hope that they appreciate it because that is something you don't hear often especially in this industry. Hope they realize that is very rare. So take care and stay safe Justin and God Bless...PEACE
Having lived upstate for all my life, you hit the nail right on the head with the weather changes and having no idea about what'll be like.... Look at it today for example. It's in the 70's and it's November LOL. Beautiful looking shop, and the layout just makes sense. As a guy who's been turning wrenches for over 25 years, things like lighting are KEY! Being able to see what you're working on is important and nothing is more frustrating than screwing around with flashlights or aux lighting all the time... The fact that the techs got their input on the layout and the design is AWESOME! Very few facilities gave that benefit to their guys like that and that's unfortunate. I have dealt with this first hand. Love the parts room too. Looks as organized as any stealership I've worked at. Radiant heat is amazing! It's extremely effective both in performance, and cost of operation. Waste oil burners have always been kickass. What better thing to do with oil that you're going to have to recycle? Rigs hold a ton of oil, so it's a win-win. Very cool how you guys do business. Looks like an excellent facility. Thank you for sharing 👍👍🙂
Nice shop. Good thinking and utilizatiion behind it! I worked for a large construction company for years that had just built a shop on the same standard as yours. It was truly a joy to be in out of the weather. Thanks for the tour.
What a nice shop you have, it is grate that you designed just what the guys needed to their job better, I am the manager of a truck shop in Colombia, South America, and this video will help me improve what we have so far.
Hey Justin hopefully this summer or warms up a little bit maybe we will go for a drive and stop up and meet you and tour your awesome shop! I used to enjoy running up to Geneva. Loved always going through Watkins Glenn on the way up going by all the Wineries.God Bless Have A Grest Day!
I know this is an older video, but how many light duty vehicles are in your fleet and how many big rigs? It looks like you gave your mechanics a lot of working room and definitely very nice that you let them lay it out the way that it would work best for them.
In a word....SPECTACULAR!! And that is how it is supposed to be done. I am thinking back on how they did it here years back when I was driving pulling tankers. Not at all like this...... not even remotely close.
Great looking shop Justin and just like your channel I hope it continues to grow, heck I remember I was like sub # 97 no look at you 15,000+ 😎 . God bless man hope to see you down at 75 chrome at the show this year maybe. Stay cool man 👋🏼
Awesome shop justin,we started with four drive thru bays and ended up with eight.Built up a fleet of 44 trucks from 1965 until 1995, all the Trucks had Cummins/Eaton drive lines in the end, gave us awesome service over the years.Sold the lot off in 1995.
Awesome space, it's funny how quick you run out of space. Boss man is building another 6 bay shop at our company with a pull through express bay to check every truck coming in. Great video Justin
Congrats Justin !! That's a beautiful shop, your Mechanic's are lucky to work for you !! I received my Tshirt, I love it, I have the same blue Pete 389 and I pull a tank just like the shirt 👍🏽 Take care and Peace to all !!! PS, I must order a couple more shirts, they are beautiful too !
Where do you do all the truck washing, old shop? And do your drivers take care of their own trucks? All your rigs seem spotless for the most part in your videos, pretty good achievement in good ole upstate NY….
Yes they wash/rinse in the old shop. It is very difficult up here to have clean trucks because of the salt …. It destroys shine !!! The drivers wash their own rigs for the most part. I do have some part time guys that come in and wash some
Nice shop, just curious as to wether it was built by you guys or if it was a package thru another company. Just wondering because i deliver pole buildings.
it gets cold in upstate ny? ya dont say, lol.been waiting 4 this video.now all u need is a pizza vending machine in the lunch room.they aint cheap bit in 4 minutes wala a hot fresh pizza to go.peace out.
Well thought out. Good points on fire suppression/ shop size. Hoping to build a shop in the next year for our sandblasting and painting business. BTW curious if you received my email last month about our business? It’s called Blastworks Surface Prep, LLC. Would like to talk to you sometime. Thanks!
Nice facility. Those pits are a major liability. The lunchroom needs a microwave and a stove plus a large Kenworth ( and I guess a Peterbilt also) emblems.
@@flintcreektransport It would be nice if Kenworth have the oper house again at the Chillicothe, Ohio facility. That facility built the W900 VIT for the Moving On and the BJ and the Bear K100 Aerodyne for Universal Studios.

Awesome shop! It’s nice that you let your mechanics layout the shop and have input on it when you were building it.
Retired now but drove 38 years and I have never seen a shop that nice! Top notch outfit you’ve built there Justin.
Thankyou !!

Just curious, Is there anything you don't have that you would eventually like to get for the shop ?
There are a few small things ….
The beginning sounds and looks like a Ukranian war video. I was like wrong video or what happened. LOL. Bayraktar !!!
Nice shop I’m sure it will change 10 years from now when you go electric trucks
Your shop employees must be starving. I didn’t see any groceries in the lunch room 😂😂😂
HA They keep the fridge stocked !!!
Yey I made it number 100 for likes

There is a company that makes fans like that called "Big A** Fans" with a donkey logo nice play on words
