The only kind of Truck that I never got to drive when I was a truck driver was a KENWORTH. I started my career in a MACK and drove everything else on the road as an over the road driver and the last truck that I was (officially in) was a MACK. I always wanted to drive a W 900 KENWORTH which never happened but I still love them ole trucks! No matter what name is on it's side or front, once a truck driver always a truck driver!
Every time I see the shop it is amazing how clean it is and all of the cool equipment you have, those truck lifts are so cool, you guys take care of the equipment and it shows in every truck and trailer and that super cool shop thanks for the great videos I'm retired now and it keeps me up to date and entertained.
You have good mechanics working for you, that is a real blessing. Some smaller trucking companies do not seem to find the good mechanics. Stay safe and healthy.
I like your setup in the shop . Mechanics are happy . This reflects in quality of service . Good fundamentals. U must have air compressor outside shop .that’s great for chasing leaks if u can’t hear em ,harder to find em . Then soapy water ,bubbles ! Thanks for the walk through !
Seen one of yalls trucks today rolling through Quitman, ga . Awesome to one this far south. White with blue stripes W900, pulling a titan walking floor
Justin your really a cool boss to your employees that’s why I have much love and respect for you and your company. Justin you also give your employees respect so that’s why they give you respect back just continue doing what you do. I’m looking forward to seeing more of your videos have a nice one and be blessed. Happy holidays to you and your family and employees.
For a green truck that is one good looking w900 not a real big fan of green but I think that one would grow on me it is one sharp truck. looks very solid and clean
the hinges or things as you called them , on the back of the trailer doors are there because that trailer had those fibreglass trailer tails that pop out for supposedly better fuel economy . My company bought a whole bunch of trailers with those fibreglass tails thinking they would save a whole bunch of money on fuel but probably spent more of repairing or replacing them . now they are removing them because drivers forget to fold them in before backing up and they end up damaging them . i’ve heard those fibreglass tails are something like 5k a side
Just ordered my first Titan walking floor here in Denver I haul quite a bit of split firewood for a local landscaping company and I'm hoping the walls will hold up better than my imco walking floor. I really like how heavy duty the cross bars are for the tarp
We use a lot of mag chloride on the roads here in Colorado and it reeks havoc with equipment. And after seeing how your older Titan's are holding up with the salt you guys have it made me look into them a lot more.
That real Dark green looks like Eureka Cartage Green to me they are an old defunct regional trucking company from west suburban Cicero Illinois they were known for their very Dark green trucks Whites Diamond Ts Hendricksons I - Hs Fords K - 100 KWs they did a variety of work a lot of flatbed work
All that wonderful emissions add on cost big bucks and in my opinion adds a lot of needless cost but what are you going to do... Very clean shop. Shows pride in what you do.
I am surprised you don't split the fuel tanks in house, invest in a good tig welder and it's not a big deal. I have done a few for friends throughout the years.
Quick question about the emissions equipment - across the board it seems like all truckers hate the headaches that come with it and I keep wondering did none of the truck/engine manufactures field test the equipment before it was put in trucks it seems like there are a ton of problems with emissions equipment and it is quite expensive to fix. I have not seen any videos or articles from truckers about the issue and what if anything truck and engine manufacturers are doing about it to either fix problems or reduce the cost of repairs.
It's easy for others to spend your money, but if you own your property there, would you eventually save money by blacktopping your yard so your fleet would not get dusty and dirty? Truck washes and man hours to clean trucks surely add up ...plus less maintenance, not filling potholes...just a thought...keep those awesome videos coming!
Great video. Always good to see a good working relationship in your company. For the life of me, I don’t see the excitement in that sleeper. 😂😂😂😂. I’ll stay tuned.
You ma you want to move to an Oil pan heater as opposed to Block Hester. By heating be the oil, heats cylinders and pistons. At -20 after 20 to 40 plus hours engine will spin over a fire like an 80 degree day.
I feel their pain working on those walking floors. It would be a good time to cut the hole bigger in the sleeper and cab on the truck you son is working on!! Now I am going out to my shop a start drilling holes in new frame rails!!
Justin that a nice trailer, but that green with a little pin straiping would be very nice leave it like that for awhile, doesn't match you letter head, but it will be fine it's different but nice lower it in the front ...
Smart business man thinking of your employees over deleting a truck, we were always brought up that the choices we make effect a whole line of people not just ourselves, good for you. Also good mechanics are hard to cone by looks like you got a good group there cuz them kenworths need fixin 🤣 safe travels buddy 👍
Pretty sure that truck came from A.D.D. Trucking out of Sebastopol,Ms. May wanna check with them and they can give you the whole history of that truck.
Old timer told me to always wait till oil was up to operating temp before using Jake, he said the thick cold oil would break parts in the Jake. Is it true 🤷♂️ I drove a C15 for 15yrs and never had a issue but its also a different set up vs Cummins
N14 cummins start lots better with a electric fuel pump installed. i did on my N14 and it starts lots better summer or winter. in alaska we run block heater and oil pan heater
Another fantastic video. I had a question for you regarding your caterpillar engine maintenance program. I have a 1999 caterpillar in a glider truck. At what interval do you guys replace the gears for the cam and idler gears behind the front “peanut” cover? Thanks.
Hey Justin how's it going, gotta question. I know you probably answered this before but how do you get to haul 100k? Is that non highway, because here in VA we have a 5% overload sticker but can't use it on the highway. Then we have our normal permit, at least I do for hauling equipment and I'm grossed out at 125k but that's only for machines. If we wanna haul heavy we have to order a trip permit and that's only good for one way. Appreciate the content thanks..
Ever thought about doing a raffle giveaway for one of the trucks you may be looking to get rid of? Tax write off I think, could sell merch/tickets to raffle it off to supporters and could even turn a profit. Just an idea!
So, Justin, what is your take on California banning? trucks 2010 and older how is that going to affect your business since you have a fleet of older vehicles?
I feel sorry for the guys that are running older equipment in California now they’re forced to upgrade with an inflated used truck market something a couple years ago would’ve cost $30,000 now that same truck is $90,000 or $100,000

Need to change that 1 amber light on the light strip in front of the air cleaner on the drivers side of the green truck.

The Green Kenworth and the Black Peterbilt look awesome. Also when the W900A comes In the shop the green Kenworth will meet it's grandpa.

Your the OG off trucking in 2022. Should have gotten that spread axle reefer .

The manufactures don’t care. They sell more parts and dealers make money on labor !!!
@@flintcreektransport Wow that is terrible!

So, Justin, what is your take on California banning? trucks 2010 and older how is that going to affect your business since you have a fleet of older vehicles?
It will take many years till we have the infrastructure!!!! They will be forced to give exemptions or push there agenda down the road ….
