This video is of my EDC (everyday carry) for every job. I have another tool bag with an installation kit, but this is my basic rekey, basic lockout kit. It has almost everything I need. Also, this is the tools I recommend for all new and experienced Locksmiths.
Locksmith's Everyday Carry: A Detailed Guide to Essential Tools
Terry Whin-Yates provides an in-depth look at the essential tools carried daily by a professional locksmith for tasks such as rekeying and lockouts. The locksmith showcases his preferred toolkit, housed in a Veto Pro Pac, and discusses his most used tools, including various drills, a Milwaukee M18 screwdriver, Meta, Metapro sets, and a Klein 14-in-1 that might replace some of his current selections. The video covers the importance of having a comprehensive yet compact set of tools like pick sets, Lab pin kits, different followers, a rotary rasp for door strikes, Triflo lubricant, and more for effective lock manipulation. Furthermore, the locksmith emphasizes the significance of quality tools for durability and efficiency in locksmithing tasks and invites viewers to suggest additions that wouldn't overly increase the kit's weight. The video aims at both beginner and experienced locksmiths, offering valuable insights into assembling a practical everyday carry (EDC) toolkit.

I love the idea of a recycled bit case for followers and other rekey tools.
Finally a video that has some length to it as well as actual substance we can use.
As a hobbyist lock picker I always believe locksmith is always more professional serving others and at its own level 👍
Yup, I had most of the tools you showed. Glad you use Tri-flow. WD 40 leaves a residue. I’ve had to soak cylinders in alcohol to get rid of the residue from overdosing with WD 40. Good video!
Since i been doing a lot of furniture assembly for the past 4 years I kinda have most the tools you have there. 12 or 15 tools you have that i don't have to have a locksmith tool kit. Is great watching and learning about your tool kits
Good one there

I was thinking torch most of the way through until you produced it at the end, loctite or threadseal and a container with various fixings in it are bits that spring to mind for me
Great video. Im looking to get into locksmith. I done a few for some clients when doing furniture assembly.
Since I do more commercial than residential work, the only other tool I carry in my bag is a hinge doctor for commercial hinges.
