I've always thought the Aviator was a damn good looking luxury SUV. It doesn't really get the love it deserves considering it's in a pretty sweet spot in the market. Great review. Looks like a comfortable review as well. 🙂
@@AutoAcademics I felt the same when I traded my Explorer Sport for the 2022 Lincoln Aviator PHEV. I have the Grand Touring (not the Black Label). Same engine of course. I was surprised at the "get up and go" that this vehicle had. My Explorer had the twin turbo, just like this one, and went really fast (my husband also dropped a K&N in the Explorer). However, I love the fact that the Lincoln has that 494 hp without adding the K&N. The only thing I have noticed with the Lincoln is that I get wind noise, just like the Explorers do. That is a known problem with Ford (my husband is an employee) and they still haven't figured out how to stop it. 2022 Lincoln is slightly better, but not completely wind noise free. Thanks for your review!
This is a nice SUV. I think if Lincoln wants to make a statement in age of electrics, they should introduce an electric MK V like car. They need a halo gorgeous long car.
With Ford so heavily invested in EVs, you know it's only a matter of time before we see something from Lincoln, Paul M. Only question is will it be a car or another crossover/SUV. Thanks for watching!
I had no issues with the regenerative braking on this, B. Biag., but the power can come on abruptly if you ask too much of it too quickly. It took some getting used to, but after a couple of days I didn't notice it anymore. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
It can be daunting at times, but it's also becoming commonplace, Melissa. And the cars that can't do it seem a bit antiquated once you get used to those features. They've got to give you something for your 90-grand. 😂 Thanks for watching!
They make them expensive for a reason and don't need to sell a lot of them. If they made them cheap everybody would buy one & it'd devalue the brand status wise. lincoln did that in the late 00s and thats what almost killed the brand
When this styling of the Lincoln Aviator debuted a few years back I thought I would see them EV REE WHAIR, but NOPE. The SYNC is dated and the chrome is overkill and borderline cheesy. Not as cheesy as Buick, tho. Do the seats still not have a memory setting? The seats look cool, but they're doing too much. However, I must admit the suspension is a champ.
The front seats do have memory, Eric Motion. 3 settings, in fact, which is very useful with those 30-way seats. Overall, this Aviator is a nice vehicle from a brand that had been forgotten. We'll see if things continue to move more in their favor. Thanks for watching!
Lincoln had a soft closed trunk on their town cars and everybody forgot about it and slammed it. I see that you modeled the soft closed doors and then filmed yourself slamming them from the back seat and the front.
The aviator is beautiful (exterior) and Lincoln’s best looking SUV and interior is nice but it’s just missing something and this more to do with the brand because it’s just something missing when thinking of other cars in the same segment imo. also infotainment sucks and camera and ford it’s inferior brand way better.
That interior color takes me back to late 70’s mid 80’s. Wow
This is one of the best car review channels I’ve ran into!
Thank you, KEITH VENTRESS! Stay tuned for more!

Very comfortable, JAX. The suspension was sweet and I was not expecting that sort of power output. Truly a nice vehicle. Thanks for watching!

Like that 🎶 blend when the road test started. Great review as always.
Thanks, SupraX!
Very nice. 56 mpg is spectacular. If I didn't order the Rivian R1S this would be a top 5 contender.
I'd love to get my hands on a Rivian, RV Dreams. There are quite a few in the Atlanta area now. Congrats! I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
@@AutoAcademics if I get my Rivian ill contact you 1st for a review
You forgot to mention the massaging seats. My ass loves it........
Awesome presentation
Love my ABIATOR❤
😅 Enjoy your car and thanks for watching!
You look great in that vehicle,
How reliable is it.

I’ve read that the regenerative braking can be a bit clunky, along with the electric switchover. Did you encounter any of that?
I had no issues with the regenerative braking on this, B. Biag., but the power can come on abruptly if you ask too much of it too quickly. It took some getting used to, but after a couple of days I didn't notice it anymore. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
No hitch??
Стабильно выхожу здесь в плюс) иногда юзаю твои советы) помогают!
Aviator and navigator, which one is bigger?
Navigator is bigger, Dol Guldur, then the Aviator, Nautilus and Corsair. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
That’s really nice Chris but is there such a thing as too much tech? 🤷🏽♀️I wouldn’t know how to use half of that stuff lol

I mean that price is a joke, nice interior and all. One can get a fully loaded Yukon Denali for less than that price. This is why they don’t sell.
2 very different vehicles. They aren't even in the same class.

Yukon Denali is $72,805...... Your math ain't workin - I mean once you go over 50k. Who gives a chyte
@@nosoupforyou425 Is the Yukon Denali a PHEV ? dont think so - I have the identical vehicle -Silver , with a White Black Label - Interior
@@phillewis8839 they really are not comparable, but keep on keeping

Seats do have memory settings. There are actually 3 settings that can be saved, which include the steering column setting as well.

Unless the “stop-start” feature can be turned off PERMANENTLY, that’d be the only dealbreaker for me.
You can turn it off. I have one of these vehicles, and I don't like the stop/start so mine is turned off.
Yeah. Fuck the environment, and fuel savings.
Time to refresh that ugly front 😅
There have been uglier remember the Lincoln with the nostrils
🌞👍🏿👏🏿

Don't think this interior looks good with the silver exterior. I think a black interior would work better with that color.
