I’ve seen trickstars use dark room of nightmare and do crazy shit. I’ve seen a simple trickstar field having 3 dark rooms and landed up with over 30 chains. The opponent got 1 shot with all the burns.
Well its the Maxx C's users fault, Trickstar Player showed that they were playing Trickstars in the deck after he discarded lilybell after resolving Dealings, If I saw a trickstar card on masterduel I'd consider that Maxx C too risky to play so, in short player saw a trickstar hit the grave and decided to play maxx C regardless, Its their fault for not thinking or at least taking a risk that backfired hard >:3
@@adolfwilhelmabel559 Can confirm. I once got screwed over by a Nibiru going for the Maxx C challenge. I even had Dark Room of Nightmare (Though no Lightstage, unfortunately). After that happened, I just couldn't continue my plays, so I just ended my turn and let them hit me with Thunder Dragons (Not that I had much of a choice).
I'm just imagining all of these glamorous fairies smiling as they walk up to the opponent in a single-file line, and repeatedly slap them in the face for effect while Ash Blossom laughs and Rescue Rabbit keeps freaking out at the audacity. ...reminds me of watching someone get ratio'd on twitter!
@@sponks1337 I feel you bro. idk what they’re doing cuz ever since the first event on master duel the servers got buggy or shitty. Especially on ps4, pc, and switch. I play it on 5 platforms and surprisingly the more expensive ones are the ones with the problems lol
Trickstar is a mid tier burn archetype focused around punishing strategy’s that draw out their entire deck, like danger and stardust. Basically, every time you draw a card, they have various cards that say -200. Without running a bunch of bad cards like gift exchange and hand destruction however, generally any deck that isn’t seeing to draw a bunch of cards won’t struggle against them
@@thegodofallakira6349 They have alternative ways to do burn damage though; The effects range from "Whenever your opponent summons" to "Whenever your opponent plays a spell/trap card", to even simply "Whenever you summon a card" Even if they don't directly do that they gain enough bonuses from doing these minor amounts of burn damage to just need 1 good hit in alongside it.
As a break down; "Maxx C"'s effect is "you can discard this card. For the rest of the turn whenever your opponent special summons, draw 1 card" Opponent tossed it "Trickstar Lycorus"'s effect is "Whenever your opponent adds a card to the hand, inflict 200 damage" The Field Spell's effect is "Whenever you inflict burn damage, inflict additional burn damage" The rest of the turn was chaining cards together to keep forcing the opponent to draw with Maxx C's effect, and the resulting burn damage from it. There's a few other cards, namely towards the end, but that's the general idea of it.
He also used chain summoning which allowed him to do three normal summons which pretty much allows him to summon all his monsters. Not many decks can actually use chain summoning effectively though.
The last hit was unnecessarily hilarious 😂

Trickstar burn is the equivalent of "I'm going to throw marshmallows at you until you bleed"
Always remember to double tap a fallen opponent.
This is the epitome of what is called “malicious compliance”
At the end the card was like "you think the game decides when the duel is over?
I DECIDE WHEN THE DUEL IS OVER!"
Imagine if he ran Dark room of nightmare too. Slightly quicker, but still devastating.

Never use it against light stage or lycoris if no lycoris on field it's fine
But, he didn't deck out
