@@JaredGuynes I think of nerf put put out a legitimately premium level set of blasters that supported higher performance levels/mechanical function people would be willing to shell out those kind of bucks. Also being as they could massively decrease the cost due to mass production they could get it down around 120-150

It's weird how much cooler the custom made stuff often is compared to the original
well that's because it's made with a specific purpose and role in mind, with standard nerf blasters they are made with no real reason and would rather have very high versatility instead of having a more specialized blaster
I agree, they should have more indie designers on the nerf design team.

About time we got some good shotgun designs. This seems to be based on the Kel-Tec KSG. I'd like to see a new double barrel design from Nerf as well.
Fun fact, the real thing has two chambers, as commenters corrected me.
Nah, this is not a bullpup, so it is closer to a classic 870 design. The slim straight line aesthetic does resemble KSG a little bit, but I think it is more for the simplification of the 3D printing.
NO, the KSG has 2 MAG TUBES, each holding 7 for a total capacity of 14. The DP-12 has 2 barrels AND 2 mag tubes.

@@deimon.5124 KSG12 has 2 magazine tubes, but aside from that there aren't many comparisons to either the Remington 870 or the KSG12.

If the creator is willing to start printing with nylon, then the heat will stop being an issue, but for a printer to handle nylon, and the nylon itself, would be quite the investment. Definitely would increase the overall cost of the product.

If you go on the etsy page, the guy who made this wrote that he studies firearm mechanisms as a hobby, which is why this blaster functions so much like a real steel shotgun.

This is still better in pretty much every way. More power, holds more ammo, you can use different types of ammo. The only thing the Trilogy has over the Spring Thunder is probably the feeling when you're just holding it.
