You don't really understand how much I love this channel lol, it's hard to find a consistent Jetta 2.5 owner who uploads. Here to support for as long as this lasts ✊🏽
Thanks mane! I really love the car for what it is. Not the fastest but God the sounds it makes alone is impossible not to like it! I try to be consistent with the channel so there's a lot more to come.
+Jester25ft Yea the sound really is great.. Really resembles the sound of a V10 and someone who didn't know better would be fooled haha but that's good to hear
+Calamity FFA oh yeah I was suppose to get back to you about that. Damn idk a guy called me today about them and never called back so I'll let you know in the week.
Jester25ft have you heard the touring version in person? if so, think thats worth it instead? shameless plug: i intend on building my mk6 jetta this summer, hopefully by august, subscribe to me if you want see it down the road >:D
Hey I love your videos man keep them coming! I own a jetta 2012 2.5 like yours but i just don't have the money right now to buy parts. I love your car. It sounds amazing. +1 Sub
Thank you so much mane! That really means a lot and don't stress it mane it took a whole year until my mod bug bit and it ain't easy on the pockets so don't rush too much haha one by one.
Ugh I hate it so much but it's rare tho. Yes tune will be on next month! It crackles so much already I can't wait to hear how much more it will 😁. Thanks!
Damn sounds beautiful i was contemplating between going for a muffler delete and leaving on its resonator because of other video’s I’ve seen but i know this exhaust is brutal but it’s gonna kill my pocket i have no clue what to do lol I’m torn !
yoo this shit sounds sick, i have a 2012 jetta 2.5 as well, i only have the awe track exhaust and a couple cosmetics. BFI shift knob, honeycomb grill and led interior lights. havent ran into too many other hooked up jettas tho, atleast mk6s, a lot of mk4 and mk5.
The 2.5's are a little harder to work with power wise but there's a ton of cosmetics for us. I went all out with lights and led interior as well. But I love it still breaks necks when ppl hear it especially when I'm on it! 😋
+Jester25ft oo hell yea, ppl are definitely like "wtf, thats a jetta?!" thats basically what i said when i was lookingto put the exhaust on lol.i love how the 2.5 sounds tho, we could have put more power in the 4 cylinder but it just wouldnt sound the same.
Hey! I know I’m late to this but did you bolt this on and that’s it? Or do you need a tune? I would love more details on how you to it to sound that way!
I have almost the exact setup. 2011 VW Jetta se 5spd. Awe TRACK exhaust, Usp downpipe with fckn converter* (New German Performance) gave me a ECU Flash tune.. with the red coil packs and nkgPlugs. .. the cAI is AFE stage 2 .. this setup sits over the engine tube raps around towards the back... this intake sounds great ..But it's the only thing I would really change .. Now I wish I knew what the best CAI is for the MK6??.. USP- Cai?.. .....I also almost bought the I.E. performance intake manifold for 1200$.. lol glad I didn't it will never fit becuz of that power steering belt system!.. wish they would make 1 to fit this model.. anyone know ?
Hey man what did you do about it not having 02 sensors hook ups? I just got the same AWE track edition catback for my 2009 jetta sportwagen 2.5. But no spots for 02 sensors so they will have to be custom cut in
Neil Stewart Thank you! Yes in the beginning it rub a ton lol. But then i raised the car a lil and the rubbing wasn’t as bad only when the car dipped really bad. Since then the suspension has settled even more and the car is much lower lol it still rubs. I don’t wanna roll my fenders either so I’ll be raising it after the season with new coils hopefully.
@@Jester25ft dang that's weird I just installed the track edition on my 2.5 and it sounds nothing like yours, not even that much more loud than stock lol
Not going to lie I deleted both mufflers on my 2.5 and it sounds damn similar. Not quite as nice but for $600 cheaper it's way good. I'm running a afe stage 2 intake on mine as well so that adds some nice sound
Jester25ft hey gotta rep us 2.5 Jetta people! Whatever sounds good at least you have good quality parts! How do you like that intake setup on yours?? My choice was between that and the afe intake system and I'm highly satisfied with this one but I've never heard any personal opinions on the other one
tkennedy1020 Trying my best bro! I love my USP intake. I just stay clear of any high bodies of water. AFE I never liked because it sat right over the headers which is like hella heat soak lol.
Jester25ft that's what I was worried about too but surprisingly the heat shield it comes with actually holds the heat out very nicely. We used a laser temp gun and measured the head after a long canyon drive and it wasn't near what I thought it would be. But I got some of the header wrap stuff that keeps the heat in and wrapped the intake heat shield in it and now it's even better!
Honestly I’d say just as equivalent if taken care of properly. I’m over 40k miles in with no major issue besides a faulty ignition issue that the dealer took care of about 2 years ago.
Is the engine reliable? I live in germany and here they dont produce a golf or jetta with a 2.5L engine but i love the sound! I looked up and found around 20 golfs/jettas they are around 500 kilometres away most of them have a good price but are automatic and i want drive manual I found a golf 6 with 150.000 kilometres can i buy it? Or should i wait for a car with less than 100.000 kilometres? I hope you can read my bad englisch xD
The 2.5 is the most reliable engine VW has ever produced in my opinion. I’m guessing 150k km is about 130-40ish miles which is still pretty good as long as the car was serviced properly. Only thing to look out for is leaky vacuum pump. Go for it!
hey man this a 2012? I'm pretty sure if it is you don't have hydraulic steering so could do the whole 2.5 manifold kit upgrade from integrated engineering. I bought a 2013 a few weeks back but it has hydraulic steering, I was kinda disappointed but than I was like fuck it lol I'll do other stuff to it
PainKilla Max I also have hydraulic steering. Golfs and MK5 Jetta have electronic steering. As for the intake manifold a guy had one custom fitted by USP for a hefty price he had a Mk6 2.5 also
Jester25ft wow that's actually dope. tbh I might cop this exhaust slap an intake on it and the rest of the project will just be either wheels or coils and I'll call it a day. to think of it now I didn't see that kit on any of the MK6 jetta se's only the wagon and golfs
PainKilla Max exactly because it fits them best not our models sadly. It's not the most supported platform but I'm happy with breaking necks with the sound it makes 😊

+Calamity FFA oh yeah I was suppose to get back to you about that. Damn idk a guy called me today about them and never called back so I'll let you know in the week.
Cars look great. Working on getting exhaust right now. 🙏🏻🔥
Love the exhaust. Sounds v10ish at higher rpms.
Thanks mane, it really does. A Gallardo revved at me yesterday on the highway lol
nice. can't wait to get the exhaust on mine. The silver of this car can look really smoked out when you get black/carbon fiber trim on it.
Jester25ft i've heard that this exhaust isnt recommended for the automatic 2.5l. any feedback?
Thisguy298 Nonsense get if you want bro. Only disadvantage is you can't rev out all the way
Jester25ft have you heard the touring version in person? if so, think thats worth it instead?

Sounds good man! Rev Hang tho. Gotta get a tune. United Motorsports is what I went with. So worth it. The tune also makes nice exhaust crackles.
Ugh I hate it so much but it's rare tho. Yes tune will be on next month! It crackles so much already I can't wait to hear how much more it will 😁. Thanks!
thats pretty damn sweet !
She sounds sick man
Thanks mane!!
my favorite 2.5 jetta sounds like a baby r8
Thanks mane
Damn sounds beautiful i was contemplating between going for a muffler delete and leaving on its resonator because of other video’s I’ve seen but i know this exhaust is brutal but it’s gonna kill my pocket i have no clue what to do lol I’m torn !
LZCLIPS ! The muffler delete will give a throaty tone. I’d straight pipe it with a vibrant resonator. Cheapest way out
yoo this shit sounds sick, i have a 2012 jetta 2.5 as well, i only have the awe track exhaust and a couple cosmetics. BFI shift knob, honeycomb grill and led interior lights. havent ran into too many other hooked up jettas tho, atleast mk6s, a lot of mk4 and mk5.

+Melvin Lluberes My thoughts exactly they can have to speed but I'll take the 2.5 sound all day!!!
Ali3Nation XX BFI shit knob is the best
If VW will tune the Gli like this and add the lights same as the one on this vid, I doubt if they will lack as much sales
Hey! I know I’m late to this but did you bolt this on and that’s it? Or do you need a tune? I would love more details on how you to it to sound that way!
Hey man, you have IG? I've been looking into exhausts and I think you just settled it for me haha. Sounds amazing.
Pedro Vieira Yeah mane I have plenty of videos on my page, str8_five
Hello brother, good night. I would like to know what you used and what you removed to get a sound like that in your jetta, Thanks
Does the exhaust pass inspection?

Love the sound!! Question, how did you install rear fog on the LED tail lights?
Justin Festejo ECS has the wire on their site. Hopefully it's still available
Gotcha. Would I need the euroswitch too to make it work? I have OEM LED tails and I want the rear fog
Justin Festejo Yes you'll need a euro switch. And plug it in slot #7 I think . It was super easy. The wire is like 20 bucks on ECS
Bro that sounds mean as fuck
Hey man what did you do about it not having 02 sensors hook ups? I just got the same AWE track edition catback for my 2009 jetta sportwagen 2.5. But no spots for 02 sensors so they will have to be custom cut in
The o2 sensors are on the CAT. So no need to worry about any sensors if you just have a cat-back
Love the wheels man! Are you rubbing at all with the 35 offset? I’m thinking about getting these but I don’t wanna roll my fender
Jester25ft thanks for the info. Maybe to be safe I’ll run a 18x8.5 with an offset of 45.
Bruh usp is awesome they have a VR6 mk1 jetta
NOTIFICATION SQUAD STAND UP!!!!
👊🏽
can you please tell me whole wheels/tire setup? and what brand wheels and where you got them?
sure, Alzor 349 18x8.5 35 offset all around. ECS Tuning
Jester25ft stock suspension? Stretched tires?
Hey had a question. Was the awe exhaust quiet at first until it got broke in?
tkennedy1020 if i remember correctly it got quiet once it broke in
@@Jester25ft dang that's weird I just installed the track edition on my 2.5 and it sounds nothing like yours, not even that much more loud than stock lol
tkennedy1020 get a testpipe or high follow cat lol
Where can you get the test pipe bro?
What wheels are you running? I gotta get some
That XJ Guy Alzors
The Drive bys would have been better if he started at the gas station and not finish There lol but Nice sounds good!
EuroVW Dubway haha this was a very spontaneous video
Did you do the IRS swap? How much did it cost?
Billy Owusu nah. Still working on that. There’s a junk yard in jersey who alway has them. It cost about 160
Jester25ft I've been wanting to do mine badly. Also need it to get rid of the drum brakes.
Billy if you have any info on the drum brake conversion let me know. I want to do it but can’t find anything on it
Roberto Leal There are threads online but, instructions aren't very clear since some links are expired.
I have a Jetta 2.0 turbo idk if it would sound the same ?
Adrian Esquivel This a 2.5 in-line 5 won’t sound similar at all. Exhaust is AWE Track in this video it’s Touring set up now

Are these 2.5 reliable as a good old toyota or honda?
Honestly I’d say just as equivalent if taken care of properly. I’m over 40k miles in with no major issue besides a faulty ignition issue that the dealer took care of about 2 years ago.
Jester25ft thanks for your answer i think about buying one soon.
Cebastien Larochelle mines got 150k no problems😊
did you remove any resonators or anything like that ??
Juan Olivas nothing
so you kept everything on the awe exhaust correct ? just removed stock system and replaced everything "plug and play"???
Juan Olivas correct just replaced the stock system
Geez in south Africa all we have is a shitty 1.4tsi
