Just now I noticed how many times they added Rachel to songs that could’ve been amazing Kurt solos

If you look up the soundtracks, they often have Kurt solo versions....Don't Cry For Me Argentina for example.
One thing we as fans don't really understand when we comment is that the actual signing ability showcased is not the characters singing ability.
Rachel is written as a musical star in a choir with good signers who don't really compare with her. The problem is the actors and (especially the) actresses that play different characters compare.
As Rachel is supposed to be the star for "plot" she has to get the solos.
The people playing Kurt or Santana or Mercedes can compete with Michelle but Rachel is the bigger star due to the plot. It's silly but plot is worth more than dividing singing roles based on talent.
I sometimes wonder if the show would make more sense if some of the cast members were actually worse singers.
I have to disagree with most of the comment above mine. Apart from Amber Riley (she is a goddess), the other people definitely did not compare with Lea Michele, however good they were. In my opinion, Chris Colfer's voice is overrated. I do think, though, that Jenna Ushkowitz's voice was not showcased properly: she is a great singer, but her character was always mistreated. Such a shame.

Fun fact, the first time I heard Kurt sing "Mr Cellophane" I thought he was saying "Mr. Saladfame."

this gave me a massive laugh, thank you. I have a bit of a similar story where in DSB, Finn sings “a singer in a smokey room” but I heard it as “a singer in a small gay room” and got very confused.

My only issue with this list is that you included "Dream On" by Aerosmith, and had it listed as being from Les Miserables.

Amber really was the best singer in every genre she gave us Broadway, R&B, rock, blues, and jazz
Seasons of Love is so "fresh" for the actors. I'm sure most of not ALL of them are still grieving the loss of their real friend. I know if I gave it any more emotion, I'd burst out in tears

I don't think it's any musical?! 😂😂 But anyway both Matthew Morrison and Neil Patrick Harris were in musicals it counts

Audrey Hepburn "sang" Pucks part in the song. Technically, Audrey did do a recording of the song but the studio 86ed it and sub a voice over hers.

I'm so glad you didn't put dont rain on my parade at the top. Lea sings it amazingly, but not only does she sing other things better, but it is not the best song on the show by a long run, however iconic it may be

I’ll be honest, Memory is one of the most underrated performances on the entire show, so seeing it be this high makes me smile!
Being alive is so underrated, chris's lower register is angelic and the show didnt highlight it nearly enough

I don't blame you for forgetting a couple lol there's SO many to try and keep track of! But out of curiosity, where would you have ranked At The Ballet and As If We Never Said Goodbye? Also your taste is IMMACULATE, this list really said Kurt finally getting the appreciation he deserves and it's just 🤌🤌
loved the video but every song from the jagged little tapestry episode are also all from their respect artists juke box musical, beautiful: a carole king musical and jagged little pill. also missing chenoweth's 'home' and 'at the ballet' from a chorus line but honestly i'm pretty impressed you found all of these. xx

I love Let it Go because it confirms that Frozen exists in Glee (Defying Gravity too) which opens up lots of questions about how Idina Menzel is Rachel's mom.
